This was one of the most informative and entertaining walking tours that I have ever taken. The guide obviously loves is work because he was so entertaining and brought Quebec history to life in his guided walk. History can be dry but he was able to present it in an entertaining and humorous way and made it lively and interesting. Highly recommend it.

Louise was our tour guide and was amazing you can tell she has a passion for her town and country. She was so knowledgeable and had wonderful stories. Pay attention so she will give you a story treat at the end. Her tour will go long we loved it. Her recommendation for the crepe restaurant at the top of the stairs was spot on. Go on this tour.

My wife and I had a similar experience as another review. This is described as a two-hour tour. In reality it ran closer to three, and we had to leave the tour early to check out of our hotel. Although we enjoyed the tour guides details and local perspective, its a shame we missed out on things wed hoped and paid to see, especially when we had a limited amount of time in the city. If the tour provider had correctly communicated the actual length in advance, we couldve planned accordingly. Such a disappointment!

This was a terrific tour. Paul Burroughs, our guide, is intelligent, articulate, and fun. He has expert knowledge of his beautiful city and even showed us a few lesser known spots in Upper Town. I highly recommend him!

My husband and I were fairly disappointed in this tour of what is a great city. Our tour guide was a nice, witty person, but rambled on and caused the tour to run far past the time we had allotted for it 2 hours according to the Viator description. We left at the 2:15 mark with no end in sight, and later learned it ran well over 3 hours. I feel we missed out on some sights because the tour guide could not keep information or stories concise. Really unfortunate overall.

OK - we are not old, but we are 'older' and had some doubts about a long walking tour in hilly Quebec City so I will start with saying, our guide waited. That may seem like a small thing but it means a lot. It means that he wasn't just pushing us through a script. It means that he cared about our experience along with everyone else's. Our group had ten in it plus the guide.

Jacque was terrific. He told us about all of the history not only of Quebec, but how it affected the United States during the Revolutionary War. We toured the whole old city for 3 and a half hours. It was supposed to be only two hours, but not only were we hungry to learn, he was so interested and proud of his city that he wanted us to take it all in...and we did. Superb!

This tour was well worth the time and money even on a day with temps well below zero!. Our guide, Clarisse, was so friendly, knowledgeable and informative! She answered all of our questions and shared some fun tidbits about Quebec City.

Clarisse was very knowledgeable and pleasant. It was a very cold and windy day and she made sure we were able to go in and out of places to warm up, while still sharing her history and love of Quebec City. The city tour was very informative and the travel guide was amazing! He shared historical stories with us throughout the trip and it was very useful. Although it was a bit cold because it's winter, it was nice because of a smaller group.

Clarisse was our guide and she was great. She lives in the immediate area and clearly is both knowledgeable about the history as well as pleased to share it with visitors. The tour nicely covers the core of the upper and lower sections of Old Quebec finishing at the foot of the funicular not included which is a nice way back to the top. If you get Clarisse, be sure to ask her about her flag collection.

We took this tour with Simon as our guide, very informative and friendly. He extended the tour to a little over three hours as there was much information, but made it enjoyable. He had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgable, encouraged questions from our group and made food recommendations of area restaurants. The walking tour is definitely a must-do to learn about Quebec City's history and landmarks.
