I especially liked the parts of the walk in the lower town. It gave me a good introduction to the old city in general because I did it on my first day. The guide stayed in her character so that helped with the history of the city.

Like everything I experienced in my several days stay in old Quebec City, this walking tour was excellent. Our guide was in character as the first white woman to settle in Quebec City and gave us a unique view of the life and history of the times. The stories she shared from a 'first hand' viewpoint were invaluable in gaining an insight into the realities of life and its hardships, and the politics, centuries ago. Loved it!

Our family all agree that this tour was a highlight of our trip. The costumed guide had a delightful personality, working hard to engage two children and the adults. She had a real story of being a Kings Daughter true of a long ago ancestor which she used to bring Quebec City alive.

Our tour was very knowledgeable, funny and pleasant but the tour was not what we had been looking for. We wanted to know about the cities' past, history about the people and places not about the architecture, real estate and recent history.

The costume gimmick is unnecessary and doesn't add anything to the experience. This guide was very short on history and long on personality. I would have preferred a student history major who was passionate about his history.

This tour was good, but, unfortunately, many of the normal tour's streets were under repair and could not be accessed. The guide was excellent, but sometimes difficult to hear due to all the noise of traffic, repairs, etc.

Fun guide in costume. Narrative was a bit confusing - timeframes didn't sync. Overall, we learned a bit about the founding of Quebec, a lot about the Catholic influence. Could have been more encompassing.

Great walking tour with interesting Quebec history. Tour started in upper town and walked downhill to lower town making it a manageable tour. Our guide was very sweet and she had a lot of information to share. I would recommend this tour to get acquainted with this beautiful city.
