The SD Zoo Safari Park itself was excellent, but Viators part was very disappointing. I have used Viator in many cities in several countries and they always provided a transportation means to get to sites out of town, buit this one didnt and after calling Viator I got NOWHERE! So I had to get a cab there and another coming back, OUCH!

Wonderful experience. We took our two granddaughter and had a great time. Wear good walking shoes lots of hills. The only disappointment was trying to find a trolley to ride to the trams for the wild tour. It was a really long hike. The tram tour was perfect, loved everything about it!

In May 2016 me and my daughter went on a cross country trip to San Diego. While there we visited the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and we had the time of our lives. We took a tour and got to see and feed the rhino and giraffe. We saw lions and how they enter act with each other. One of the biggest tigers I've ever seen up close and pink flamingos. If you like the wildlife and coming real close to a African Safari I would recommend getting your feet wet with this great adventure. This is a trip I would take again!

Here is anothe MUST SEE and DO when near San Diego....this park is fantastic!!! 1,000 acres for the animals to roam free....loved it and well-organized and everyone was so nice and knowledgeable!

This was the perfect time of the year to visit. Parking was easy, no crowds and the staff at each of the animal exhibits were friendly and full of inside information. The park was clean and well maintained. This is a must on your visit to San Diego._br/_ Cyndi - Sacramento, CA

Great park. The viator gave us discount ticket entry to the zoo, but we waiting in line to get tickets though. We added caravan ride to feed the giraffe and rhinos. Overall, I strongly recommend. I wish I had more time to see the cheetah run and ride on the tram. Tram had very long waiting line, maybe because it was Memorial Day. We left mid-day since we spend rest of day at Balboa and San Diego Zoo on same day.

There are a number of ways to visit this open area of Africa & Asia, as well as some more adventurous ways like the segways and flightline safaris to get the adrenalin pumping. But for the more senior visitors the cart safari or caravan safari are very enjoyable as well as informative, and the cheetah run is unbelievable - the speed of that animal!!!

This was a great park. It was really well laid out and had all the animals I wanted to see. The enclosures were more realistic than you would expect and the keepers obviously have a great love for the animals. Hearing the lions roar just as I was leaving was amazing - they're so incredibly loud.
