It is very difficult to be disappointed in seeing Yosemite for the first time. The park is magnificent and the sights are second to none. Even though I do my homework before I take a trip like this I had no idea what trails were available to us and where I should be going after I was dropped off. My husband and I were very disappointed with this tour because our tour guide Lauren did not give enough direction or seem to know anymore than her way around the park. When asked which mountain was which she responded, I don't know. When asked about what kind of trees some were, I don't know. We paid a lot of money for this tour and although Lauren knew her way around I felt like she needed to give us much more direction and information. We were unable to get the Yosemite Lodge when we booked and the Cedar Lodge was fine and quite out of the way and had no internet, no free coffee. Whenever she dropped us off she told us to ask if we had any questions about which trail we might want to do and quite honestly we did not even know what trails were out there. I would have liked this trip a lot more if Lauren had given us more direction. She was very pleasant and tried to please everyone in our group but was lacking in knowledge and direction which we have become accustomed to with other Viator tours.

Perfect weekend trip. Our tour guide Sarah was excellent and made sure we saw all the highlights. We had a very clear day and were able to see for miles. Only downside was not being able to get a room in Yosemite and having the extra travel of leaving park for Cedar Lodge. Overall wonderful trip with a very nice group

Amazing tour!!! Our tour guide Leo was fantastic! He took us to key spots in Yosemite with breathtaking views and photo opportunities. He was very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. This tour allows you the benefit of a guide and plenty of time to explore. Only advice is to stay at the Yosemite Lodge. Was not happy with the Cedar Lodge. Bearable for one night

Best ever. Emily our tour leader was awesome-friendly, helpful and an impressive and careful driver. There are some mountainous roads!_br/_ Emily made extra stops at our request for spectacular photo opportunities. The small tour bus was excellent. Accomodation at Cedar Lodge although 3star was perfectly fine-we enjoyed the extra scenic drive in the evening. The second day of the tour allows some free time and Emily gave us lots of options of things to do. Great tour.

Have just got back to San Fran after our 2-day Yosemite Tour. What an amazing place! Tour was great and we saw a whole load of the valley in the time available. Our van was new and comfortable, the hotel was quirky but functional and our guide Emily worked really hard to make it memorable for the nine of us on board. Overall I would recommend.

Superb tour with Mitch who is an excellent driver and guide.About 4 hours drive from San Francisco so an overnight stay is advisable.Good accommodation and food.The restaurant is top class._br/_ Quite a long walk to see giant Sequoias and uphill to return to the bus, but worthwhile._br/_ Smoke haze and little water in the waterfalls were unavoidable but did not spoil the visit._br/_ Not to be missed!

This is a good two day tour of Yosemite. Its reasonably strenuous two 11 hour days and lots of walking. The altitude and smoky air because of wildfires made walking harder. Our guide was Mitch who was very knowledgeable and had a dry sense of humor. Our mini-coach only seated 14 passengers, we had 13 on our tour: 5 Australians, 3 British, 1 French and 4 Americans. We wish that there would have been some free time so that we could have some of the sights in the Valley such as the Ansel Adams Gallery. We chose the Yosemite Lodge hotel option which if located in Yosemite Valley and had an excellent restaurant for dinner.

Over all it was a good tour. The driver was a very knowledgeable and shared information most of the way to the park which was great. Later in the tour he chatted with the passenger in the front seat and the rest were left to their own devises. A disappointment. We saw great sights and did a long walk the first day and the second day it was make your own mind up I am going to do this walk. Some did the walk too. Some didn't. Again it was a little unclear what to do and how the bus system worked , especially to those unfamiliar with instructions being given to a group when some have difficulty hearing.

The tour was wonderful and filled with magnificent scenery. Our guide was sufficient but not as knowledgeable as we had hoped. He was very pleasant but didn't appear really experienced with the Yosemite guide business. He did not know the size of the park and several more basic pieces of information. We felt rushed at our food stops and had less than 30 minutes to eat on the way back to San Francisco. Yosemite is fabulous and as is always the case, we could have used a little more time.

James R was the greatest tour host you could one. Excellent drive, read his group well, was very knowledgeable about all thing Yosemite. Works with Incredible Adventures to do this through Viator. Outstanding first day saw all the major highlights with many stops that had less foot traffic. This allowed us to talk with him and choose what we wanted to do on our own the second day if we wanted. Loved the flexibility. Simply the best way to see Yosemite if you only have one or two days in your itinerary. Opt for the two day if possible. GREAT GREAT GREAT!

The restaurant and store good at Ceder Lodge. I highly recommend the 2 or 3 day Yosemite trip, one day is not long enough.

Incredible trip. The landscape and views are stunning. We were able enjoy the area and several hikes without feeling rushed. Mitch was a great tour guide - helpful, fun, and accommodating. We had a really nice group of people to travel with as well. So glad we booked this tour! It was like getting a gift we always wanted, but just never realized it until it was there in front of us-- all wrapped in sunshine and fresh air.

It needs to be seen to truly appreciate how amazing this park truly is what a wonderful 48 hours we have just had. Firstly it would not have been the same expire cue without the wonderful guide Mitch who gave each and everyone of us his undivided attention thank you so much Mitch for making this trip to Yosemite a fab and fun time we where like a little family by the end of it. Anyone who is in Sanfrancisco please do not leave the city without a trip to Yosemite and do go for 2 days if possible there is so much to take in the only way is to tell you about Yosemite is to tell you to go go go and ask for Mitch as your guide

We were collected in a timely manner on Saturday morning by Bob our tour guide. The bus was comfortable and the drive was pleasant. We stopped once to do a walk which was nice and other times for a bathroom break/shop. Once we were approaching Yosemite Village we were stuck in miles of traffic. I had assumed that because we were taking a bus tour that we would be allowed to speed past the normal traffic and use the bus lane but our mini bus didn't qualify as a bus so we sat in traffic for an hour. Bob gave us a map but didn't guide us to the highlights when we arrived. I would recommend that the guide opens the map when you arrive and points out the different attractions and the general direction they are in. It would also be beneficial to have a this is what I would do route. On departure we left the park only to have to return again as there were 2 passengers staying in the park and not in our hotel. This took an extra hour of driving and an hour off our evening. When we arrived at our hotel there was a mix up and not enough rooms were available for the rest of the passengers. This again took another 45 mins to sort out which ate into our evening. We rushed dinner before the bar closed and had no time to enjoy the pool. Day 2 was a lot better and Glacier Point was gorgeous - well worth visiting. We were told the direction to walk and where the bus would be parked but not a time to meet at the bus. We ended up waiting by the bus for 45 mins waiting for the other passengers. If we were told a time we could have spent longer exploring and enjoying the views. The Park is amazing but maybe a different trip/guide is recommended. It's clear that Bob loves hiking and nature but he is not a natural when it comes to being a tour guide. Bob found it difficult to deal with issues out of the ordinary and wasn't full of life and energy that people enjoy on a tour. Try to avoid weekends for traffic if you are taking this trip.

Yosemite speaks for itself! What an amazing place! We were there in the middle of summer and it was quite hot. I would recommend taking your swimmers bathers for us Aussies The only down side was going on the weekend and much of the time was spent sitting in traffic rather than exploring the park. However once we were out walking and experiencing the place it was fantastic The bus driver/guide made the trip really interesting with his own stories and flexible approach. It was good to be in a small bus rather than a big coach. If you suffer travel sickness, be prepared as the roads are winding for a lot of the trip

Great two-day tour of Yosemite. The tour guide was a very good driver I'm prone to motion sickness and never got sick through those winding roads. The itinerary was well-planned. We never felt rushed, was given just the right amount of time for all the various activities. I like that we did plenty of walking. Didn't want a tour that was: drive, stop, hurry to take photos or whatever the activity was, and then jump back into the van, and repeat. The driver gave us lots of good information about Yosemite, with touches of humor, and welcomed questions. I was lucky that the other passengers were very nice got to learn about their home country.

Unfortunately we hat to take the public bus to get in to the park on the second day and because it was sunday the first bus was an 11 am, so I lost almost 1/2 day in the park. Otherwise the tour and the time in the National Park was amazing.

Our time in San Francisco was limited, and the overnight tour was perfect for our schedule. I highly recommend this tour - a one-day tour will not do justice the majesty of Yosemite.

Good tour- worth doing if you are old and rich and you like someone telling you where everything is and driving you around. I was expecting a bit extra from Yosemite and the Tour. Overall this tour was a bit over priced for the Hotel room that had to be shared. Things we did could have been done by someone travelling on their own or with a Group of friends- for a much less price.

Wasn't really worth it for all the money you spend you don't really get much. You are better off renting a car and driving yourself really. I found it really annoying that for such a price the guide refused to pick me up or drop me off at the hotel and didn't care to ask the address, it could have been easier for him too than dumping me at the Bart.
