We arrived early on one of the hottest days in San Francisco history. Luckily, a boat was just about to leave and we hopped on. The views were spectacular, the audio was informative, and the crew was very accommodating. It's hard to say what side of the boat has its advantages, because there are too many photo ops. Well worth it!

We started our San Francisco experience with this cruise. We were on the 4:15 sailing about the time fog sends its fingers into the City's valleys and bridges. We had an excellent presentation regarding what we saw, i.e. Presidio, Crissy Field, etc., how the land was extended by using the rubble of the earthquakes. Going under the bridge was exciting and fun. This tour also included Alcatraz Island and its history. It was very useful for us before embarking on Hop on/off tours the next three days. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting The City for the first time.

This is a great way to see an overview of San Francisco Bay in an hour. Staff is helpful and pleasant, the headphone narrated tour provides a good history and overview of the city if you want to then book another tour to a point of interest you see on this tour there are many other options available as well. The boat was spacious, offers a restroom and snack bar if you have a need for it, and offers plenty of seating both inside and out. We took a cable car to Fisherman's Wharf and then walked the short distance to this location.

This seems like it would be a perfect way to see a little bit of EVERYTHING in a comfortable, interesting way. However, the website does not inform that the last boat leaves at 2:45pm. The booking website for this tour only states that the boat leaves starting at 10am every 30 minutes. We arrived at 3pm too late to do the tour and the next tour is at 5:30pm and its a night tour, that includes drinks and appetizers. That didn't appeal to us. Our tickets are good for year. Hopefully we'll get back to San Francisco...
