This was a great tour. We were lucky enough to go on our helicopter tour of SF when it was a beautiful day in SF. Not a cloud in the sky. Definitely the highlight of the tour was when we flew underneath the Golden Gate Bridge...that was incredible.

This tour is really amazing, the helicopter view of Sn Francisco is out of this world. My only issue is the tour says Returns to original departure point. In our case we were dropped off in Sausalito, then the return to the city was through ferry, not helicopter. Anyway, 5 stars.

I had a great experience. I've lived in SF for 16 years and this helicopter tour made me fall in love with San Francisco all over again. Aside from the magical views and the thrill of being in the air, I also felt absolutely safe. The pilot was friendly and clearly a capable. There was a bit of fog on the day of my flight but the pilot was still able to show us of amazing vistas. The ground transportation team was also nice and professional. I highly recommend this tour.

The helicopter ride itself was great. The reason I give it 4/5 stars is because of the route it route. I took this tour with my whole family, and we were expecting to fly closer to downtown San Francisco. However, the pilot took us further north and then flew us over Alcatraz and over and under the Golden Bridge. It was a great ride, just not over the area we expected.

There were only 2 of us and we had to pay for the 30 minute trip. But it was very nice tour of San Francisco Bay area. The best part, for me personally, was the flying over and under the Golden Gate and Bay Bridge. That gave you a little thrill. You had some really nice views of other areas of S.F. with the landmarks and alike.

It was great! The only issue is SF parking in general, as the Helicopter tour shuttle picks you up from a couple different hotels in Fisherman's Wharf, and drives you to the SF airport. If there's a way to just park at the airport for an hour or so, that might be an easier way to go. However, the shuttle driver was very pleasant so no complaints about that part. And the actual helicopter trip itself was AWESOME! We were scheduled for the 3:30 lift off, but since there were a dozen people scheduled at that time, they split us into two groups. We went in the 2nd group, which meant we got back to Fisherman's Wharf a bit later than we anticipated we had tickets for the Red and White fleet boat tour that we missed, but those are good for a year, so just keep your schedule open if you plan to go. I got some GREAT pictures and the pilot was informative and pleasant, but didn't talk TOO much either. Flew us right under the Golden Gate bridge, and I'd say we got our full 30 minutes worth for sure! They even offered to take pics of us in front of the helicopter when we were all done. I highly recommend this tour!

This was SO worth every penny! My boyfriend and I absolutely loved every minute of our flight. The pilot was phenomenal and it was so fun flying under the bridge and getting to see San Francisco from above. was an awesome experience, but, the seats we had which was on side of pilot we were not able to get the quality views of the city to take pictures, most of the sites seen were on other side of helicopter, we would have had to reach over other passengers to either see or take pictures of some of the better sites.. company needs to do a double flyby in my opinion, but flying under than over golden gate bridge was awesome on its own, it almost made up for missing the sites,65 happy 35 disappointed in the ride..

The helicopter tour was breathtaking and the gentleman who drove us to the airport was friendly and very kind. However the gentleman who drove us back was on his cell phone most of the time. He was texting and swerving. Many people were not paying attention but I was and I there was a time I was going to voice my concerns but I tried not to raise concerns. I want to add, it wasn't just one text, he was on the phone for 80 of the drive back. Very disturbing. I took several tours in San Francisco and did not experience this with anyone else. This is extremely dangerous just check the stats!!! It is one thing when you are alone in the car however, even then,you may injure or worse kill another driver. If you are responsible for other people in a van you should be more responsible and professional. I am rating this tour 5 stars because all other components deserve 5 stars and it is unfair not to give credit where credit is due

Unique vistas of the city/sea from the air. Flying UNDER and over the Golden Gate bridge was a real treat! Felt very comfortable and safe with the highly professional company. Highly recommend! If you have the option, best views are had when facing forward 2 of the 6 seats face the rear.

My daughter and I loved every minute of this trip. She asked right away if she could be in the co-pilot seat and none of the other passengers objected so she got a prime view on a gorgeous day. Besides the co-pilot seat, there are four side window seats and one inside seat. I didn't mind taking the inside seat since she had the best seat, but I would have been disappointed if I'd gotten the inside seat in any other scenario. We all wore noise-cancelling headsets that we could hear the each other and the pilot narrating the highlights of view below. The Golden Gate Bridge was, of course, the highlight - not only flying over it, but UNDER it. It was a thrilling day and one we will always remember.

Great trip, but booking through Viator is not recommended. I booked a Sunday wine country helicopter tour, Viator confirmed that, but since Viator is a 3rd party vendor they did not know that tour was sold out. That screwed up the rest of our tour plans for the 3 days we were there. Would never book through Viator again.

I was on another helicopter tour in the past of another city and the ride wasn't as smooth or nice as this one was...it was like heaven to ride with this pilot : and I enjoyed myself very much. It was really so my SON could experience a ride in a helicopter, he is 14 since he has done the Young Eagles program at the local airports where he gets to ride in a 4 seater plane, sometimes in the cockpit, and he wants to be a pilot now---he wondered what it was like to ride in a helicopter : so I booked this tour while we were visiting San Fran. He got to sit next to the pilot, which was very exciting for him!!! The views were wonderful and like I said, the ride was SO SO SMOOTH, I was really impressed. The only thing we wished was different was that the ride would have been longer!! : 30min goes by rather quickly!!! It was a good time for both of us and I highly recommend it...

Brilliant!_br/_ Slick from start to finish._br/_ A comfy minibus collected us from the hotel and drove us to SFO airport and then the helicopter ride was excellent._br/_ Over San Francisco, Petco Park, Alcatraz and then under and back over the Golden Gate Bridge. I got to sit in the front with the pilot which was the best seat in the house._br/_ Thoroughly recommended - safety briefing great, just superb._br/_ If you get the chance this will be the best way to spend your holiday dollars. We did the half-hour tour which was a little too long. There really isn't a lot to see and once you've gone over and under the Golden Gate Bridge, you've pretty much seen it all, and the pilot was not particularly informative.

Firstly, the time I had booked and received confirmation for turned out to be unavailable. Secondly, they do not tell you that you have to sit around and wait for 30min for the group to complete their flight. Good photo-taking opp but pilot only points out the spots without additional info at all.

Actually in my case it's a 5 star rating for my personal experience because I was lucky enough to sit at the front seat next to the pilot. If I was the one who sat at the back middle seat or backward, I would be really disappointed. But, because everyone of you may end up sitting at the wrong seat, I set 4 stars._br/_ I was picked up at the downtown and taken to the SF aiport from where we took off. We flew over Daly City, saw Twin Peaks from afar, then flew over Giants Arena, Oakland bridge, Pier 39, flew not pretty close to the downtown, then UNDER the Golden Gate bridge 2 times which I didn't even think is legal, flew close to Alcatraz, and finally landed at Sausalito where we were picked up and taken back to the city.
