With large beds and plenty of storage, this option is perfect for families or those who’d just prefer a little more room. Each van provides bedding, kitchen accessories, cooler box (Malibu) or compressor fridge (Maverick), heaters and picnic chairs; tents, bike racks, snow chains, GPS and more are available at an extra cost.
After cruising around beautiful San Francisco, create your own itinerary to visit a variety of destinations within easy reach of the City by the Bay. Drive north to Napa or Sonoma for some wine tasting or, for a scenic outdoor adventure, travel northeast to Tahoe, east to Yosemite National Park, southeast to Sequoia National Park or south to beautiful Big Sur on the California coast.

My husband and I loved our campervan rental! The large van was easy to drive yet roomy enough to sleep comfortably in. We liked the freedom it gave us to drive around decide where to stay each night and the savings on a hotel room, but we also really liked that it was more comfortable than camping. When it rained all night I was very glad to be warm and dry in our campervan bed.

This was such a great way to go "camping" in the redwoods. We got all the benefits of being outdoors - using the campfire stove and the chairs to cook dinner and make smores by the fire - but still had a level of comfort we wouldn't have in a tent.
