Unfortunately the aerial tram was stuck and we could not make it on to the tram. It took almost 3 hours to rescue the group which was trapped.

There was not much to see on the tram ride. I guess all the rainforest animals were asleep. I dont recommend the tram ride.

The tour was very nice, but the transportation was not managed very well. The pick up went well a little after 10 am and we picked up at4 more hotels and off to the park. We had a nice lunch and the went on the tram, which was very nice and our guide Leo was very informative. We had a downpour when we started the nature walk, but it didn't last long. This was very informative too.

Really good value overall. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The preserve was a very interesting place and a good way to start off our 2-week Costa Rican trek. Out of our 2 weeks traveling coast to coast this was the only place we saw Tapirs.

Very nice, safe aerial tour. The tour guides were amazing, regaling us with loads of history and geography of the place. They also offered me the choice of the zip line instead, since I was traveling with elderly parents. Thanks.

I recommend this tour and you should have a great adventure at the park. You should visit nature sanctuary and do the hike. The rainforest gave me a new perspective of nature. Very enjoyable tour and I plan to go back.

This tour was unbelievable. Seeing leaves as large as schoolbuses from a Bob was quite amazing. We also saw many wild animals including vipers sloths

The aerial tram tour was great but this does NOT include a walk through the rainforest which I was extremely upset about. You are taken around some caged frogs, snake and butterflies under some sheltered areas but nothing in the wild via a trail. I had already experienced frogs/butterflies/snakes in containment in a tour the day before so it was reputation for me. The combo of a trail and tram was the only reason I chose this tour and I would have 100 chose another tour if I knew this was not included. I'll be writing a separate complaint regarding this but in the meantime Viator should update their tour description.

This tour was pretty great! It is a bit of a trip from San Jose, but the small bus was very air conditioned and roomy, and the guide and driver were both great and entertaining.

This was our most enjoyable tour of all. Even though it was raining, the aerial tram was remarkable. I have a fear of heights and worried needlessly about the tram. To see the rain forest in the rain was great. However, the tour guide was another story. Her name was Angie Rocha, and she just never stopped talking. This was billed as an English tour however, her English was so accented we could hardly understand her. Furthermore, since there was a person whose Spanish was better than English on our tour, Angie felt compelled to repeat her endless descriptions TWICE, once in English and once in Spanish. Again, this was billed as an English tour, not a bilingual one. She was very knowledgeable, of course, but the tour, except for the aerial tram, was boring because of the repetition. If Viator is going to recommend and bill tours as English speaking you should find out if this is really going to be true. Our tour would have been perfect, had it not been for the constant repetition and Angie's apparent need to show us every single ant along the path..

An outstanding tour. It included two nature walks, lunch, the aerial tram, and butterfly garden. Our tour guide, Fabian was very knowledgable and accommodating. A must do in all respects!

This excursion is very nice! The tram moves at a good rate of speed so that you can see all that you are supposed to see. The tour guides are informative and funny! We were able to see a sloth, a toucan, an eye lash snake, butterflies and more! It was worth the money and worth the drive to get there.

Tour was very peaceful. Guide was wonderful - very knowledgeable and engaging. Hardly saw any animals unfortunately and I think this is normal. They kept saying the animals go deep into the rainforest which is not where the tram is. But it was pretty. Lunch, staff, and overall experience was good. I would recommend the Rainforest Adventure Aerial Tram and hope you get Jimmie - our guide. He was great.

The aerial tram and rainforest hike were both great. No fault with the tour guides, and we learned a ton. Be forewarned, however, that this estimated 6 hour tour ended up taking over 10 hours. This was due in large part to the picking up and dropping off at specific hotels, which in conjunction with San Jose traffic, added a huge amount of time.

It was an awesome tour inspite of the rain. Kenneth was a very good guide._br/_ We couldn't see animals perhaps because of the rain.

We enjoyed it. We didn't see a ton of wildlife, but that may have been due to the time of year. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Lunch was fantastic.

Thie tram provided a very interesting and different opportunity in viewing the rainforest. One way on the ride is over the canopy, the other is about half height. Would love to do this at night but don't think it is offered. Our guide, Cel, was great on the walk eapecially. He found things in the Forrest for us to see that we never would have known were there without his being able to point them out to us. Our driver, Eric was very timely and offered lots of interesting information along the way. Really enjoyed this excursion.

Aerial tram was pretty cool. There should be more offered for cost of tour. Driver was Chris- and there should be more of a sense of safety when driving. Talking on the phone, speeding in the rain etc. is not cool.

This was not really as interesting as made to sound. In order to really see any animals at all you need to either be there very, very early or very late and the tram does not run during these hours. There is a short nature walk and that is about it. Lunch was just OK. This is really a tour for someone who in into botany. Once you learn the three levels of the rainforest, that is about it. Long drive to and from San Jose for not much.

I expected from this tour much more that it appeared. We haven't seen any animals on the tram, but amount of plants was enormous around. Near the station, we saw a viper and a sloth. However, our guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything. Lunch was very tasty and people in the group were very interesting to talk with. On overall, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.

The tour on the aerial tram was quite nice; we got the opportunity to see the rain forest from the top of the trees and the tour guide was extremely nice informing us on every opportunity on the special characteristics of the forest and all efforts to preserve it. After the aerial tram we went for a small walk on the rain forest and a different guide (again very good) introduced us to the life of the rain forest.

We expected it to be very touristy, but it was informative. We were very impressed with our guide, Jose, and his knowledge of the ecosystem. Breathtaking views from the canopy are not to be missed! We highly recommend this trip if you are in the San Jose area.

It was a great way to finish my one week tour of Costa Rica, a recap.. Even though I had done another much more demanding aerial walk above the canopy, this was another relaxing way to see a forest. We only got to see insects on the walk but the guide was knew about everything else. The lunch was typical of the buffets. _br/_ The bridge is not really a suspended one; it could be eliminated. _br/_ The only fault with this outing is the pick-up time; we were told that we would be picked up at 10:00 but the shuttle did not arrive until 10:20 and then there were still lots of people to pick up so we did arrive for another hour at our destination.

This was an okay outing. We didn't see much with our guide while on the tram or on the walk about; however, while waiting for the Spanish group to come from their walkabout our driver showed us a number of things ... a small viper, a couple of sloths, some poison frogs, a toucan, a parrot as well as some of the plants.

Boring and Slow, if I would have known that the trip would have been slow and boring I wouldn't have picked it. Saw some animals and plenty of views of the rain-forest. Lunch was ok but you get what you pay for and lunch surrounded with mosquitoes.

The entire trip was outstanding and enhanced by our guide on the bus and tram. However, the bus was stopped by the police on the return trip for not being properly authorized as a tourist vehicle, which caused a delay, meaning we had to deal with rush hour trafic in San Jose. The bus should have been properly licensed by the operator!
