The tour guide was a little rude and I didnt feel comfortable asking him questions. We rode in a very little boat and went looking for crocodiles before going zip lining. boring The ride was about an hour, I just wanted to arrive at the zip lining location. We arrived and got 2 guides who did not speak English which is important because we didnt speak Spanish. You can only imagine the confusion that went on during this tour. We had fun, but it was a real work out. The buffet lunch was just ok and I felt _br/_ Iike they were watching us as we fixed our plates. We ate and that was pretty much the end of the tour.

the cruise and the zipline was great . I had a really good time and the tour guide was very knowledgeable . I got to experience wild life in their natural habitats live and not just see it on tv.

River sightseeing cruise was a old flat motor boat. There was very little to see. There was a long walk to the zip lining and it was an old road and fields that were quite muddy. The ride to the cruise was quite long. Waling back to the lunch area was very wet and muddy. Would be quite a chore if it was the rainy season. The tour guide did not seem very interested in us during the ride to the cruise area. Not the best tour that I have been on.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! This was my first time ziplining and everything was extremely well organized. More importantly, I felt extremely safe even though we were hundreds of feet in the air. What was also nice about this was that if you do get tired, you can actually stop at a certain point since this does involve climbing a few ladders.

Initially I booked this tour but was told the day before it would not be available. i was then told I could book the 6 in 1 tour for the same price after some back and forward over email and the phone the night before. There was some miscommunication because the tour operator was not on the same page as Viator apparently because I ended up having to pay more after we had taken a long bus ride to the rain forest. That was a bit of an annoyance but it worked out and I put that on Viator and not the tour. I would be more careful with that.

I am a woman and I was traveling alone, I was being picked up by a man with a regular car. He said I would meet the rest of tourists 1 hr away from that location. Pls email me this ahead time, or let the person id himself, so it does not look shady. Jorge was rushing us through the tour.

Not an adventure for someone with mobility issues. Tough climb on ladders on zip line, but rewarded with some speedy zips. It and #39;s a different type of excursion I enjoyed greatly. If you done the other excursions, this is one to put on your list.

This was a great tour - the biggest downside was the long bus trip to and from the boat/zip lining. We stayed at a downtown hotel, and the ride was nearly 2 hours. But the boat trip and zip lining were great fun, with knowledgeable guides. They were also extremely helpful with my senior citizen parents who needed extra care with stairs and walking, etc. The only other small criticism would be that it would've been nice to have a bit more explanation about the equipment and its capabilities/protections, but the guides were very capable. Overall, this was a very good excursion.

Great tour, but Viator sold this trip on to a local tour operator who messed up my pick up times for this trip and the Manuel Antonio National Park Trip. For this trip, they turned up over an hour late even though I had confirmed the pick up time twice with them just days before. Also, the guide didn't say much on the way to Sarapiqui, which is a shame as we were a group of 6 and he could have made it a nice personal trip. He actually slept most of the way! When we reached Sarapiqui, he seemed to be wide awake and was helpful in showning us the few animals we spotted during the river cruise. The cruise itself was really relaxing and as I had already been on other tours and seen lots of animals, I didn't mind that we didn't see a lot during this trip. The zipline tour was... well, words fail me I was petrified during the entire tour and screamed my head off, but at the end I was glad I did it. I would have been awfully disappointed in myself if I had turned back and not done it. Lunch wasn't enough and the person behind the scanty buffet didn't seem to want to give anyone more than 2 strips of chicken. As I didn't like any of the other salads they provided, I asked for more chicken which they grudgingly cooked for me. All in all, I enjoyed the experience, but this is certainly not the best tour I did with Viator.

The tour was such a great experience! Jorge was really friendly, fun and knowledgeable, making the long drive to the location feel much shorter than it was. Zip-lining was so much fun, one of the instructors took photos for us throughout and we paid 20 for a CD with the photos on - much better than us trying to take photos and potentially dropping the camera in the middle of the rainforest. When we got back the food was already prepared for us and was really lovely, traditional Costa Rican food. Jorge also showed us around the family's greenhouses which housed plants, snakes and frogs. The only slight cricitism though more with the operator's description of the tour than the tour itself: the horse-riding was not actually included and is not something they normally do for this tour, however the family kindly saddled up two of their horses for us anyway. All in all, definitely worth the money and would certainly do it again.

This was a blast! It was a 2.5 hour car ride from San Jose, and our guide actually drove his own SUV instead of a bus since the tour bus was being inspected. He was very punctual, pointed out a lot of different things during our drive, and stopped at a market so we could try different local fruits. The river cruise was nice, but the best part was ziplining. At one point you could hear monkeys in the tree we were about to zipline to! They were sitting on branches just 20 feet from us! Overall the tour felt a bit rushed, but that was mostly because our guide was afraid we would get stuck in the impending storm.

The tour was great...I can give them 4 to 4.5 stars. First day tour/guide/food was great. Bus was not up to par, broke down and exchange new bus. Second trip was also good, but Pick up was about 30 minutes late. Guide was good, can be improved. Boat driver and Zipline ride leader was great.

Jorge and Carlos picked us up at the hotel at the time we confirmed via the tour comapny's website. It takes an hour and half but Jorge made it go by fast with all his facts about the rain forest. We saw crocodiles, birds, howler monkeys while on the boat. The zip lining was worth it, great food!

This tour was okay, but not great. The people were unorganized, the ziplining facilities were extremely unimpressive, and none of the ziplining guides spoke English. I would go find another ziplining tour instead.

Highlight of our trip: boat ride, ziplining, meal, photos. I was very apprehensive, but the zipline staff were super safety conscious and made us all have fun, even if we were scared. Ladder climbing is very difficult, but we did it. Traveling with my niece who is very ill, and the guides and staff were extremely accommodating and understanding when we had to lay back and go last for everything.

Our tour guide Mauricio and driver Carlos were great. We had a pretty long ride from the hotel but it was very scenic and Mauricio pointed a lot of landmarks and gave us information about the region. We had a wonderful boat ride. We saw tons of animals on the boat ride to the zip line location. The zip line crew were very friendly and made sure we had fun and were safe. You zip on 10 different lines, two of which require you to climb pretty tall ladders. Lunch is also provided after the zip lines.

The river tour was interesting. There wasn't much to see though. We got to the ziplining site and were really excited to go! The walk to the course was quite long and uphill and rocky. There are no horses. They've been outlawed. There's no truck to take you up anymore either. Not sure what happened to that, but that wasn't the worst of it. When we got to the course, it doesn't go from platform to platform as expected. You have to take TALL ladders up the side of the trees to the platforms and zipline from there. This isn't what we expected at all, and we weren't able to complete the course. It was pretty miserable, and although my sister was injured making the climb, we still had to walk back down to the post where we began. They didn't even send anyone to drive her down. They really need to show photos so people know what to expect. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because the crew was great and the river ride was nice. I wouldn't recommend the ziplining though. If you haven't gone before, this isn't what your first experience should be like, and if you have gone before, you'll be disappointed.

Long bus ride but a nice day! The zip line had 6 ladders to 6 different platforms that were very high- 50-75 feet high. Although it was scary, but fun, that information about the ladders should have been in the literature so one knew what to expect. The boat ride was fun though cut short due to road construction delaying our arrival.

Fun Fun Fun_br/_ My buddy and I had a wonderful time on this tour. They were punctual and and got us to our destinations safely and with great care. There is nothing like zip lining over and through the rain forest. What an amazing feeling. The views of the landscape were beautiful. The river boat tour was nice. we saw many birds and monkeys, but only one crocodile. The tour guide Victor was informative and pleasant. We enjoyed his balance of sharing history and also letting us just take in the beauty of the tour. So worth the money. Our late lunch/dinner was delicious. I also enjoyed the wonderful people who shared this tour experience with us, we had lots of laughs.

I enjoyed this tour. All the tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The boat ride (river tour) to reach the canopy ziplining was nice and relaxing. There was a great opportunity to animal watch along the way, and we even stopped to get close up. When we arrived at the Canopy Zipline Spot, there was a demonstration and orientation for safety precautions, we were outfitted and suited and it was off to climb and zipline through the trees (point of no return). We all took a deep breath, and off we went. The first zipline, was a practice, and I got stuck, lol. However, I quickly learned how to ensure I made it all the way to the next platform. I have to admit the climb to reach the platforms, was truly a workout. However the smooth zipline ride was worth it. After we finished, we were off to dine. The food was filling and tasty. After dining, there is also a butterfly garden to see. Overall my experience was great, and the entire group was great. My only complaint is that we were split up in two groups and the camera in our group did not work, so although i have some group photos, the ziplining experience through the trees was not captured.

The Canopy (or ziipline) was invigorating. One would need to have some strength and lots of nerve to climb the ladders to get to the next station - but we had a blast. The guides were exceptional and very much aware of the safety responsibility. We loved the experience! The rainforest tour was really good except the weather wasn't in our favour. The food prepared for our lunch was very good, and the tour guide made us feel very comfortable. His descriptive of where we were could have been a little more informative.

Victor the guide isn't as talkative in the bus, and did not explain a lot when we pass through national parks and all. The river boat was interesting and fun, and several wildlife was spotted. The staff on the ziplines are fun and efficient. The so called poison frogs and butterflies are disappointing though. I was expecting more after the good river boat ride. Nevertheless, it was a very fun time for the trip, although it would have been better if it started earlier instead of picking up at the airport at 11am. Feels like half a day was gone by then.

Our guide (Victor) was very informative and helpful in ensuring that guests expectations were met. We saw much of the wildlife advertised and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. One word of caution is that the actual canopy tour is very physically challenging, requiring that high ladders be scaled to most of the zip line platforms.

We had a great day on the river cruise and canopy tour. The guides and drivers were very nice and informative. We loved our canopy tour and had a very nice lunch. The only wildlife we saw were three crocs as we got rained out on the way back from zip lining. We would recommend this tour. All of the zip lining was done very safely. Might be nice to show photos of the very tall ladders so guests know what to expect as far as climbing to the landings. I was very shocked to see the heights we had to climb but feel wonderful that I did it all successfully.

We drove from Quepos to San Jose which made it a long day, 7am start and 11pm finish. While we enjoyed the trip we would not recommend this if you are not staying in or around San Jose. We found other great trips that were similar in and around Quepos that would have meant less travel and were just as good. Viator had no trips in that area.
