Chilean Folklore Show and Dinner with Transport
Santiago, Chile
Experience Chile like the locals do! When you come to Santiago, you simply have to enjoy a tasty Chilean meal. Whilst having your dinner, you'll be entertained with traditional dances and songs which have originated from various regions of Chile. This is a great introduction to the Chilean way of life!
A dinner show experience which gives you the opportunity to enjoy Chilean food in a restaurant decorated in traditional South American style. The show consists of different examples of dances and costumes from the distinct regions of Chile.
It was a really cool show, the food was okay, nothing special which I have come to expect from Dinner Shows. This isn't about the food, it's about the show and therefore it was a fantastic tour and I'm very glad we did it. There are great restaurants at home but experiencing this show was special. We highy recommend it!

Both the guide and driver were excellent. The food was good . The show was good but wondered if it was becoming routine for the performers and as a result they were having trouble involving the audience

This tour was amazing!

Let me tell you this place blew our socks off. It is a huge dance and eating hall that is packed with locals. The band is really good and the show was well worth it. We loved this place and would go back just to go there. The guide was a really neat lady and we enjoyed her and the driver immensely.

Very good.

Dinner and the show were at the same location. Our guide did a great job getting us settled and the restaurant staff was very attentive. The other people attending were predominately Chilean so most of the presentation was in Spanish. But we enjoyed our experience immensely.

Great Party atmosphere although not as much Chilean music as we would have liked. Food was pretty good.

Food and performance was great with fun. Understands Spanish is better to enjoy the Folklore Show.

This was one of the best shows ever and our guide was so good - thanks

Tour guide was very nice and filled us in on a lot of details about Chile during our transfer. The food was ok and the show enjoyable. The dancers were really very good and deployed a lot of energy.,the singer was a little cheesy, but all in all, we spent a nice evening.

We initially thought this tour was with a group of people, but it is actually you and your guests._br/_
Our guide was very friendly and provided us with a lot of Chile information on our way to the restuarant._br/_
We had an excellent view of the dancers, and were even choosen to participate._br/_
Food was very good, and value for money was excellent!

It was very much like I expected. The show was entertaining. A fun thing to do on our first night in Santiago. The transfer from the hotel to the venue and back worked well.

We had the impression we were to get Chilean food and were disappointed to be in a Hawaiian restaurant. Dancing was superb but not the Frank Sinatra imitation show afterwards

The show was not quite what we expected, but very entertaining. It would be helpful to provide English speaking guests who have no Spanish with a program and brief description of each item. The food was average. We were quite disappointed to be seated at a table in a corner and level with the back of the stage. Transport provided was very good.

Excellent guide in Julio, pick up from hotel on time, return when we were ready to leave. Great table for viewing the show, good meal and enjoyable show which was done in two parts and showed dances from different regions. Easter Island section particularly vibrant and exciting.

This is a very expensive show; but, actually it was the cheapest one we have ever seen. A crying crowd and a very unpleasant dinner. Never again!!!!!

Surpisingly good food for such an event - it was our first night and was a great introduction to Chilean food. The show was 'touristy' but fun all the same. The driver and waiters did their utmost to help us and were much fun. My only criticism is value for money - it's expensive for what it is but we are glad we did it.

The show was really not much of a show. The dinner was not all that good either. My friends and I all thought that the tour was overpriced too.

Enjoyed the show and the food was good the only issue was the driver did not speak english and therefore communication was difficult and he picked us up at 11.00pm when there were things still happening at the restuarant.A 11.30pm pick up would have have been hospital.

As we just came back from our trip to Santiago Chile and Argentina, i could not answer before this letter. In Santiago we had a very nice time making several trips we booked in Curacao. On my birthday however, we made the Chilean folklore trip which resulted very nice, especially being on my birthday.

A good fun night lots of locals celebrating but we had to leave whilst the party was still going on as our driver came at 11pm a bit too early by santiago standards some folks were just starting to eat.

The show was fantastic and the dancing a blast after the show. Our driver was perfect. He was friendly, on time and we enjoyed him. The problem was the food at the show. It was under- cooked and we did not eat much of it. We sent back the meat for more cooking but we all got food poisoning that night.

It was quite an enjoyable evening with a really good quality dinner and an interesting show. The venue itself was nothing special.

I thought this was pretty ordinary. I have been on combinations such as these in many countries (China, Germany, Argentina, Chile, etc) and this one was the worst. There were about 800 attending and we were so far from the stage that our only option was to watch the cultural dancing on a very poor video projection screen. THe place was crowded and very noisy (no real chance to hear the music or the singing); however the food was acceptable (for these types of things). Throughout the show the "compere" seemed to prattle on in Spanish for long periods and seemed to add little to the event. All in all, pretty poor and not value for money.

We enjoyed the dinner and show very much. Our driver arrived as scheduled to our hotel to pick us up and stayed at the restaurant until the show was over to take us back. The food was great as was the show. It was a highlight of our stay in Santiago.

Not particularly authentic, and too much emphasis on alleged Easter Island folklore. I stayed on the Island some 26 years ago and did not find even this segment to be genuine.
Review by: Charles G J, January 2009
Booked a group tour, ended up on my own, sadly no one to share the meal and show with. Food was good. Show was primarily in Spanish, so at times difficult to understand explanations of folk culture. Half was based on Easter Island, so it was much like attending a Polynesian resort show.

It was good to schedule in a dinner and entertainment given our short stay. While the food was good, the singing and performing act was just ok. Better one for families or the oldies. Picture on Viator does not reflect low quality of show.

When we first arrived at the dinner show we thought it was just some place to show tourists, but once we had been there a little while we realized this was a favorite of the locals.

Lots of fun and everyone, very energtic. The printout said all gratuities were included both the restaurant and the guide did not agree. Was a bit unpleasant and we had to produce the printout to leave the meal.
