This tour includes scenery drive to visit Annandale Waterfall, followed by Fort Fredrick to get a historical overview of the beautiful harbor below. Includes beach time at the famous Grand Anse, where you can take pleasure in a cold beer at the local bars, or unwind on the beach, before taken back to your cruise ship.
Your tour will start with a complimentary pickup from your cruise ship parking lot. You'll then head to Annandale Waterfall to check out the natural beauty of the falls. Your next stop will be Fort Fredrick, a great opportunity to take photos of the beautiful harbor below. After the photo stop you'll head to the beach, where you'll enjoy the shade of rustling palms, sip a cold beer, or a rum punch drink at the beach’s bar and slip into the clear water to snorkel, kayak or swim. The beach time is prearranged for 2-hours but can be extended at no extra charge. We will ensure your timely return to Port of St George's after your trip.
We were a little nervous taking an independent tour off of our Windstar cruise, but Tony was right there waiting for us at the pier as promised. He put us right at ease and showed us around his beautiful island which he is calling home again. _br/_ The first stop was Annandale Waterfall. Tony briefed us on the various persons to expect along the walkway that would want a 'donation' for picture taking, cliff diving, etc. The Fall itself was smaller than we imagined, but we were told that on a hot day it felt wonderful to take a dip in the water at the bottom. While we were there, however, we were having liquid sunshine falling from the sky so no swimming for us._br/_ The views from Fort Fredrick were amazing! Then Tony happily accommodated our desire to see St. George's University and the monument at the Airport honoring the Americans killed during the invasion in 1983. He also tried to surprise us with a trip to the local craft brewery, West Indies Beer Company, but because it was election day no alcohol was allowed to be served. Highly recommend that if you take his tour, you ask him to stop at the brewery. It looked very interesting with lots of craft beer choices and food!!_br/_ The last stop was our beach time at Grand Anse. We all shared a Ting at Umbrella's beach bar again no alcohol! and then Tony asked how long we would like to stay to enjoy the beautiful beach. No pressure and no rush!! He returned right on time and drove us back to our ship---taking time to show us two spots close to ship to pick up some local bottles of rum._br/_ Highly recommend this tour---much better than anything the ship had to offer! Wish Tony had been available on a couple of the other islands :

Tony Phillip was the tour organizer thru Vision tours and he did an excellent job with communication concerning the tour. Esmond drove our small group van thru very windy, narrow roads and took good care of us. The waterfall was as described with natives approaching us for money to dive off of the waterfall. play the guitar, pictures with a monkey, and selling spice necklaces. The Fort had a nice view and the beach was lovely. Esmond was very accommodating about getting us back to the ship.

Tony was informative, courteous and really good fun. He kept me informed of all pick up details and got us to the falls before the cruise ships had off loaded. This was great as Britannia was in and Grenada is only small. He took us to places that the cruise ship trips couldn't. There was a group of 6 of us and he really looked after us all making my friend's birthday really special for her. The beach he took us to at the end was lovely and the rum punches at the quay were really strong!!! Thank you Tony.

We really enjoyed this tour. Waterfall is beautiful. Be prepared to be asked to buy things at the first stop (photos with a monkey, women with fruit baskets on their head, guitar player, men that will jump off the cliff into the water). Killer view from the Fort. Beach was awesome. Driver was cool.

One of the best tours of our cruise. Our guide Tony was at the cruise terminal waiting for us which was great as there was only two of us this meant we got started ahead of other tours. We arrived at the waterfall before the crowds, I think it was 2 per person to enter the walk and Tony warned us that we may encounter some divers, singers and photo opportunities that would incur extra costs. Next stop was the Fort again I think 2 each and we were the only people there, Tony took some photos of us, you get some great views of the island and port from there. From the Fort we drove down towards the beaches via the marina and a few other areas of interest. Tony showed us three beaches and we could choose where we wanted to be, he left us there for just over an hour and then he picked us up and drove us back to the ship through the main town. We only wanted an hour or so on the beach but I presume if you chose the first beach you could stay there and I don't think it would cost much to get a taxi back later. We both enjoyed this tour with Tony he was very knowledgeable and good fun, he explained everything well and we felt comfortable and safe at all times.

Loved our Grenada trip, made all the better by our fantastic guide/ driver Tony Philip vision tours grenada. Such an awesome knowledge, top marks for friendliness and fun, goes that extra mile, even taking photos for us and emailing them to us. If you want a great and memorable experience insist that Viator books you on a tour with Al. He is extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Al is a local who moved to England and upon his retirement from British Special Services moved back to his native Granada. He provides great insights into this beautiful island and will leave you with a cherished memory.

This was our BEST excursion of the 5 we did during our recent cruise. Grenada was a wonderful surprise and this tour did not disappoint. We were met at the end of the pier by the tour operator with a welcome sign who then directed us to our own PERSONAL guide for the day. Emery was terrific! He was extremely knowledgeable and proud of his Grenada and took the time to show us many interesting sights/smells/and tastes on the spice isle.

Very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. This was a private tour and well worth every penny. We were able to set the pace of the tour. We told the guide what types of things we wanted to see and he made sure we saw them and then some. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone going to Grenada.
