Very enjoyable tour. Great overview of the city. We were lucky and got a great day weather-wise. Not sure it would be so pleasant in the rain. Smooth and easy transfer from bus to boat. Reasonably priced refreshments for sale on the boat. Bus steps very steep so those less mobile would have to sit downstairs.

Stockholm is a beautiful city, and I will have to go back as I had limited time hence, this tour by land and sea sounded like a great choice for me. The only glitch for this tour was at the top end. Because of construction and preparation for some special event, the meeting area around the Opera House was confusing, especially as there was no signage and no person pointing me to an alternate pick-up location. So I eventually set out on my own - found a tour office near the water - who pointed me to a man in a red shirt a block away. Since I had already missed the boat for my tour and the second boat for my purchase was not leaving for another 3 hours I was told I could get on any bus first, and come back for the later water tour however, I was time restricted. He was kind enough to tell me to get on another water tour that was leaving in 1 hour, so I did that and enjoyed it. But by the time I got back, there really wasn't time for me to do a bus tour - especially since it was going to have to be one of the many jump on and off buses - not a chartered bus. So...it was promising, but was kind of a bust.

Wonderful tour. It was done primarily by recording with ear phones but was great! Stockholm is such a beautiful city! We caught a bus at the port and rode 1.25 hr to Stockholm.The tour did not provide the bus but told us which to come on. The bus driver added so much to the tour! Thanks Owe!

First of all, let me say that something was to be rather bad for me to give a low rating. Stockholm was the last stop on a 2 week trip in Scandinavia/Baltics. My dissatisfaction started because the location information was too general, not specific enough, for that busy area. I have since read other reviews stating the same. We arrived 30 mins prior at the location indicated on our Viator voucher. There were several buses in the area, and we could not decide which was ours. When we finally identified it, the agent - a dark-haired woman - was extremely rude. She told me that we were confused because we had purchased the tour online and not locally. I explained that we had purchased the tickets through Viator she snapped that she had not ever heard of Viator. She continued to insist that we had created the problem by not buying directly from the local agent who supposedly would have been very clear. By then, we were not even sure if we were at the right place. If it had not been for the kindness of the bus driver, we would still be in the dark. He took great effort to get us seated and properly connected._br/_ The bus tour itself was OK but could have been skipped because it rushes through the city. The boat ride was much more pleasant and in many ways a duplication of the bus ride. I know...one is in town and one on water. As mentioned in an earlier review, the boat tour lasted longer than indicated because of waiting times at the pier. The tour description did indicate it might be longer, but it was an hour longer. _br/_ Stockholm is a wonderful city, and most people are courteous. The company needs to find a replacement for that one worker._br/_ I ordered my tickets through Viator because of good experiences. However, I would suggest visitors to Stockholm go with Hop-On Hop-Off for a bus and boat tour.

One of my traveling companions was having an issue walking. This tour gave us the opportunity to view Stockholm from land and sea. The tour was comprehensive, after which we had a good understanding of the city and enabled us to further investigate sites of interest. The boat ride enabled us to explore the many islands and archipelago that make up Stockholm._br/_ While this tour was more sedentary than I like, it enabled my traveling companion to see many of the city's sites.

We very much enjoyed the coach segment of the tour but thought that the boat section was overly long. Much of the time on the boat was very interesting but much of the information was a repeat of what had been said on the coach part and as I said, was too long. Had we not done the coach tour, the boat segment wouldn't have seemed so long.

Tour by boat was fine. The coach had mechanical problems and didnot come. We were offered a hop-on hop-off ticket. That was OK, but that buscompany drove only till 16:00 uur.

The only reason it is 4 stars is that the Prince's wedding was on our tour day so the bus segment was cancelled. Since the wedding was a planned, well-publisized event, the bus tour should not have been offered. Also, we were not contacted about the cancellation and only learned of it when we showed up at the bus stop. Thanks to a very helpful young lady in the ticket booth, we were helped to get a second boat segment in place of the bus tour. We really enjoyed the two boat tours as they covered most of the water area of urban Stockholm on a very lovely day - beautiful and informative.

Gave us an overview of the city and the waterways around it. The recorded guide was a bit difficult on the bus since we all couldn't see the intended view at the same time. This was not a problem on the boat. There was a great deal of information that helped us to understand the history and development of the city._br/_

The tour itself was great but it would be advisable to warn tourists arriving on cruise ships that they have to transport themselves to Stockholm. We berthed out of the harbour_br/_
as Royal Princess was too large. We were ferried to the docks by tenders.Then we had to take a shuttle bus to the station, catch a train to Stockholm about one hour''s journey away before we could join the HOHO bus and boat.

City tour was great and if you only have 2 days to see things it is the best way to see as much as you can in a short amount of time. The boat tour was mostly seeing the backs of the places you already saw on the bus tour so I wouldn't have booked it if I had known what it was. We did see people swimming in the canal, right along with boatings, etc., and a part of an area we didn't see by land. I am glad we did the tour with no more time than we had.

We really liked this tour. It gives you a chance to see the city from both land and water. The recorded commentary was very good and informative. The transition from the bus to the boat was not very good. The bus driver just pointed to the direction of the boats. It was not a transition of the group from the bus to the boat synchronized with the boat's departure time. People had to stand in the very long line with other people who just bought separate tickets for the boat and wait a good while for the boat to arrive. In-spite of this inconvenience we recommend this tour. The sites, which they show on this tour, are very nice.

We saw Stockholm . It gave us a big picture of what the city was like._br/_
Bus nice. Driver friendly. Boat...no so. No character. Dirty._br/_
Glad we visited Stockholm. Would never go back. Very expensive especially their food.Have traveled extensively in Europe . In my opinion cities like Prague have much better architecture etc. Save your money and visit some less expensive cities in Europe.

The coah tour was rather short and really quite average. The guide seemed not as confident in using English. However, the boat tour was great and it offered very spectacular views of Stockholm. The recorded commentaries were informative, well-paced and of a high standard. It was a tour not to be missed!
