We were not satisfied with this tour, the original hotspring we were supposed to go was closed we had to go to an alternative one which was not up to standard. The cost for the tour was not value for money.

Wish we had a little more time to explore Yangmingshan, but the waterfall was beautiful and the path to it was incredible - the best part of this trip by far was the hot springs. Relaxing and soothing, and made my skin feel incredible - they provide towels so you don't need to bring your own I did, I wasn't sure and they don't explain there are cold and hot pools, so be aware if you're getting overheated there is a cold pool to plunge and reset your core temperature. Bring a water bottle, you'll sweat and want to rehydrate, but if you forget there's a small restaurant downstairs at the baths where you can grab a drink or in the park before you go to the baths. Be aware, if you're going in the pools you'll need to strip down and go naked. I don't think this is in the description of the tour, only in your confirmation email. Very friendly tour guide who was quite clear on timing, and had a few great tidbits about Taiwan. He delivered our tour in Mandarin, English and Japanese so kudos to him!

I enjoyed the tour, especially Yangming Park, the Hot Springs and bath. It was nice to have the relaxed time soaking all the aches and pains at the end of the tour!

Good guide and the park is lovely, but not overwhelmingly so. A nice park close to the city. Nice waterfall in the park. If you don't want to sit in the hot public bath, you may not want to do this tour. You are only allowed into the pool area if you sit in the bath, not just to see the pool or watch people understandably. Not much to see if you decide to walk around that hot spring area on your own. If you like hot springs and bathing then it may be a good tour for you. Overall, a nice tour.

It was very nice and the tour guide and driver were lovely. I do wish though that we explored Yangmingshan National Park more. It was too short I feel.

A small park worth to see if you want to kill some time. There is nothing much to see there though.

Though the tour was nice, I was disappointed not to see all the wonders of the park. we had a short walk at a garden near the summer house of Chang Kai-Shek, nothing special to see. Looking at pictures of the PARK there should be amazing flowers this time of the year.

Loved our tour guide Jacky Chan and we were the only people on the tour which was awesome as we both can speak fluent mandarin. Jacky was very informative and very funny. He showed us the different types of the cherry blossoms. He is very knowledgable and also he can speak fluent Japanese!!!!

This was a great tour! The guide, Jackie, was very informative and made for a great expereince. The volcanic landscapes and the tour climax at a traditional Hot Spring was very relaxing. A word of caution, we were taken to a traditional local hotspring ... dress code was mandatorily nude. A bit of a shock! But part of the cultural experience.

Could have been better in terms of spending more time at the park instead of just 20mins.

Disappointment. Not value for the money paid

Highly recommended. The guide was great with the whole group. He was very knowledgable about the area. Remember that you need to ask questions if you don't know anything about Taiwan. He will point out the main places on the way and if you see something else just ask.

Nothing much to see. Maybe its because its the wrong season. Guide was not informative, he did not bring me up to the top for the view cos he said the weather is no good, can't see anything. _br/_ Hot spring is a total nightmare, so old and overcrowded and doesn't look clean.

Our guide didn't seem very interested. He was not very knowledgable either. He left us at the hot-spring for about an hour. Once we were done with that he asked if we are interested in handicraft? If no, he suggested that we skip that part of the tour!

The tour was good, but the bus was not. It needed a new set of Shocks and tires. We bounced the entire tour. Yesterday's tour was the same. Not sure if we were on a different bus or not. No difference in the ride.

Bonus of this trip is we get to see Cherry Blossom! Although the park is smaller than we expected. The other bonus was that I didn't expect the tour to include the entry and usage of the hot spring. It was a nice experience!

The National Park was lovely but as it was winter it would be more picturesque in spring. Particularly enjoyed the hot springs. This was a unique and enjoyable experience. The tour guide was good. The group was small so there was opportunity to ask questions.

Great tour! Very helpful and accommodating. Our guide was great, a good mix of information and time to take in the different scenery. The easy pick-up and drop-off at hotels was especially convenient and helpful. One tip: wear clothes that you may not care about because the hot springs smell like sulfur and can make your clothes smell for days on end. Overall, it was a great tour and I would highly recommend it.

This should be a recommended tour to see the beautiful of Yangmingshan mountain and enjoy the natural hot spring. However, I quite disappointed with the tour guide which is not really communicative with us. He only speaks the important words during the journey, never asked us to take pictures, and he was gone on the way back before the non English speaking driver dropped us at the hotel in the end of the tour. Moreover, we noticed that he also enjoyed the natural hot springs in his own private room when waiting for us having the hot springs.

The weather was bad and I was the only one of the tour. The guide (who had not done all that well on a previous tour) was much better this time and gave enough information and answered questions. The hot spring visit was fine.

Didn't get to see much of the National Park at all; hardly a chance to even get out and walk. Not long enough. Only highlight was the private hot spring experience for 40 mins. However, I won't be recommending this tour to anyone.

The weather was rainy and blowing cold so we chose not to walk in the park. Also, the hot springs is not very inviting to just get into small pool with a lot of naked men, or women if you are a woman. Personally, did not enjoy this tour.

I was disappointed with this tour. We only had one stop at the Yangminshan National Park and reallly did not get much information or given more of a look at the park. The hot springs we went to were not very inviting and then we spent about 40 minutes at a massive tourist and souvineers market, lots of staff and pricey things for sale. The only good thing about that was they did have some pretty amazing pieces and statues on display.

The walk in the national park was a disappointment. As a Scandinavian I expect to be shown wildlife and shown specific trees, bushes and flowers from the region. I also like to be able to walk alone if I want to and not be shepherded like (sorry if I’m being rude) Chinese person. The bath in the hot springs was lovely. The old ladies that were there were helpful and nice even though no one spoke any English. Sign language and a lot of smiling get you a long way :-) The sales place (or should I say tea place) in the end was just boring even though the Taiwanese handcraft was really nice. More time in the park and hot springs and skip the sales pitch in the end would have given me a better experience.

Tour can't be blamed, but we saw absolutely nothing on Yangmingshan due to heavy fog. Also one thing that the tour is not explicit about is the hot-spring's portion of the trip. You are to bathe separated man and woman absolutely naked. Being a prude American, that's a big deal and I would not have done this tour knowing that fact. I therefore chose to go into a private family room with my husband for bathing except 5 minutes into being in the changing room my husband was attacked by ants! Absolutely gross! Would not recommend the hot springs portion of tour at all!!!!

This one is good for the transportation in getting to see the sites, but had I known where everything was and how to get there, I'd have been better off doing it myself, could spend more time and not get stuck with other crowds.

Our tour guide was very impatient and rude. He actually raised his voice with an elderly man in the tour. After the trip, he detoured and brought us to a shop to buy pineapple cakes. We filled in the order form for 4 boxes of 10 and paid the tour guide as he said he would help us queue up and collect the cakes for us; 20 mins later, he came out of the store room and gave us a bag. I asked him why there were only 2 boxes, and he said that they were boxes of 20. They were sealed, so we didn't open them till we reached our hotel. They were only 10 inside each of them.
