Tallinn 2.5-Hour Bicycle Sightseeing Tour

Tallinn, Estonia

Enjoy this 2.5-hour long bicycle tour and discover Tallinn and learn about its inhabitants and its complicated history. Highlights of this tour are Kadriorg Palace and Park, Presidential Palace, Laulupidu Song Festival Grounds, Maarjamäe WWII Memorial, Olympic Center, Pirita beach, the seaside promenade and more. Distance cycled will be approximately 16 km (10 miles), and you will be taking regular breaks.

Once you meet at the designated meeting point (best is to come 10 minutes before the agreed meeting time), you can get ready for a great cycling experience.

You will be cycling mostly outside the Old Town, as that is more suitable for walking. You will see the Paks Margareeta (fat margaret's tower), Tallinn Power station (now cultural centre), Kadriorg park, Kadriorg Palace (palace built for Catherine the first), Presidential Palace, Lauluväljak (song festival grounds, home of the singing revolution), Maarjamäe soviet-era WWII memorial, Pirita beach, 1980, Moscow Olympic sailing venue and then returning via seaside promenade and Amandus Adamson's Russalka monument.

Tour was cancelled, but I was offered the city tour instead. A bit of mucking around to get to the meeting point only to find it was going from the cruise terminal even though I had confirmed with the local operator to meet at the booking office. A good tour none the less, saw some amazing sights around Tallin and good recommendations from the guide where to eat

We did this tour in early October and found it to be very slow paced. We saw some interesting things, but overall It was OK, but not great. I'm afraid I cannot really recommend it.

Great tour, even with a few sprinkles. Got a nice overview of the history and local landmarks. The only thing I would add would be a short coffee stop.

We had a great time! Both guides who accompanied our group were knowledgeable and attentive. A wonderful way to see a lot of Tallinn in a very short period of time.

Nice idea, but the real action in this city is in the Old Town period.

This was a great experience and almost easy pedaling everywhere but for 5 euros we upgraded on site to electric assist bikes and was fantastic! Our tour was led by great English speaking lady who led us from stop to stop and saw old and new Tallinn.

Our tour guide was George and the trip was just ok. Since it was raining most of the time that might have impacted our trip. It took me 5 times to find a decent bike and even that had squeaky breaks. We were not provided rain gear, vests, or helmets. The highlight was going to a grocery store parking lot to watch folks from Helsinki load their purchased liquor into buses. Mostly we road around busy streats with lots of construction outside the city. I recommend just walking around the old city which is lovely.

Great bike ride, just seven in the group. George our guide was very proud of his city and very knowledgeable about historic and recent sights and events in Tallinn. George had a good sense of humour and gave us a good balance of information, not too much or too little. We enjoyed his casual style. A must do bike ride.

We went on this bicycle tour and despite some inclement weather we found the ride an excellent way to see lots of this lovely town. Our tour rider was quite young but he was able to fill us in on the historic information about Tallin in a friendly and entertaining way. The company even provided waterproof jackets for those who didn't have one. The ride was not too difficult no real hills to ride up and was suitable for all ages. A very good experience for us!

The guys at the bike shop were awesome and the tour was fun for my whole family. The city is very bikeable and it was great to see the contrast between the old and the new.

I did a walking tour of old Tallin before I went to the shop to pick up the tour. The bikes were great, we were only 9, and the tour guide helpful. He kept s good eye on us and made sure we didn't get separated. We biked throughout the new areas so there were only a few hills. It was a lovely way to spend time after having been on the ship. You don't have to be a professional cyclist to keep up!_br/_ Tallin is a great place! And biking in the new area a great way to cover ground including Cathetines Palace from the outside.
