Tour was fun and interesting. Nice small group and stopped at some bars we would never have known about if our guide Jordan hadn't taken us. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon in Toronto. Very friendly group.

Our guide was very friendly, attentive, engaging and entertaining. He educated us on how to interpret the values that were shown on the menu and offered suggestions based upon our personal tastes. We enjoyed the guide, the tour of the Old Town and the company of the other tour participants.

Best part of our trip to Toronto. If you want a self guided tour around the city with 3 stops to bars that you likely wouldn't have gone into otherwise, this is for you. Tim our tour guide was friendly and amazing. Highly recommend!

Mike was a great guide. We loved the historical perspective of Toronto while enjoying some delicious beer. Highly recommend this tour!

All I can say is this excursion is not worth it and was a total ripoff. We paid over 100 CDN for 2 for basically a short history lesson of TO and half plate of nachos! We visited 3 pubs and had to pay for our drinks at 2 of them. At the 3rd pub, the Mill Street Brewery, everyone in the brewery received free samples, so it was no advantage of being on this tour. Just visit the many pubs in TO on your own and you will save money and get to drink alot more beer!

Our guide was great and knew more about beer than anyone I've encountered and I've taken dozens of brewery tours. Knew some great spots for sampling, and had really good recommendations at each. I would take this tour again without hesitation.

The tour was excellent. Mike, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about beer, local history and the role of history on alcohol laws and consumption over the years. He brilliantly mixed in a great deal of information on local and national beer, historical events and current day points of interest. If you are in Toronto and have the time to take this tour I highly recommend it. It is well worth the time and cost.

Overall, really fun walking tour of downtown Toronto. Our tour guide was Dave - funny, knowledgeable, and did a good job reading the group. We really enjoyed the spots we stopped at and would recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in drinking some good beer and learning more about Toronto's history.

We had tour guide Dave. He was amazing. So knowledgeable! He led us on a fun and insightful tour of Toronto and what we learned is that Toronto's history grew from Distilling and Brewing lol. So fun. Met some great people. A super way to start off our girls weekend!

The tour exceeded my expectations! There was a lot of college studentsit's Spring Break in the States and our tour guide Mike was flexible to entertain anyone in different age group. I lived in Toronto for 5 years but after this tour I realized I didn't know a lot about the city as much I thought. Highly recommend!!

Are you looking for a way to engage your late-teen/twenty-something child on a family vacation? The Toronto Beer tour is one way to do it. Mike, our guide, was knowledgeable about beer, Toronto history, and architecture. Expect lots of walking. He encouraged our college aged boys beyond their normal Beer realm. You can consume as much or as little as you desire, so be prepared to try new brews. The included beer pubs offer flights and tasting pours so you have real opportunity to explore new tastes. Next time I'd like more discussion about the history of beer production in Canada.

Dave was an awesome tour guide, we learned a lot about Toronto's alcohol history and not only._br/_ You should try to include more breweries because there are a lot of good ones in Toronto anyways it was a perfect tour. I recommend this in the first days you arrive in Toronto so you will learn the good spots and to have enough time after to cover the Breweries that are not included in the tour.

Thanks Mike for a very good tour. 3 very different, but equally excellent bars, superb beer, knowledgable tour leader and a nice bunch of people made for a surprisingly good way to see the old part of the city.

Mike was a great guide. I figure every tour depends on how many and what type of people sign up. Hydrate and pace yourself people, have a cold one

Mike delivered an engaging and enjoyable tour. I not only learned a lot about beer, but also different aspects of the city. With humor and panache, he graciously answered questions we had about life in Toronto and Canada. A very funny guy who deferred to others. I've been on other beer tours in other cities. This was not only the best of its kind, but also the best tour I've had ever.

We expected a walk around Toronto and visits to a few pubs/brewery's to sample beer._br/_ What we didn't expect was a wonderful narration by Mike with respect to the cities history, as well as a tour around the St. Lawrence Farmer's Market. Would highly recommend this tour for beer and city history 'buffs' -- Well Done!

Review by:   paco,    December 2015 Review: 3 star rating: Worth doing
It was not bad. You have to pay for your own drinks._br/_ Basically the tour guide takes you to 3 different bars and let's you choose from a long list of beer to purchase. I wish the guide was actually a GUIDE that teaches the history of certain beers with tasting samples it needed to be more organized with clear and set goals. We were told that tasting samples were not encouraged to order. If it was more engaging and informing, I would probably consider of participating again.

Although the tour was just us and the guide we had a great time. The tour did not include the cost of the beer at the first two pubs, but the third pub 's sampling was paid for by the guide. He was quite nice, knowledgeable and fun! I would definitely recommend this tour if you like sampling craft beer.Awesome fun!

had a great time . Mike was very engaging and a fountain of interesting facts about the City and the history of beer. His use of his IPAD to show pictures and videos added to his story and demonstrated that clients learn in many different ways... so the use of different media is great.

Absolutely great tour!We had Dave as our tour guide and his knowledge of beer is impressive! He made the tour very fun while also being educational. I have to say I'm not the biggest beer drinker but I very much enjoyed the tour and it opened my mind and my mouth to beer! Carly and Sean, South Australia

I found the tour online prior to a one day visit in Toronto. History AND beer; what's not to like? The tour had everything I could ask for. Jason was very well educated in the local history as well as the beers we sampled. I got a lot of "off the track" history bits that where both amusing and surprising. I feel I learnt a lot a'boat Toronto in my short time. Thanks again Jason, for a fab afternoon!

This was great fun! Our excellent guide James led us on a walk around some of the sites in Toronto - making a link to beer and brewing at all of the stops. We also went to two bars, which we wouldn't have found by ourselves, where James talked us through the extensive beer menus, explained the different brewing methods used in the different types of beer, and made some recommendations on which to try. We were able to buy sampler size beers - which meant that we got to try more of the beers available!

Part pub crawl, part walking tour, but a good time nonetheless. Jason knows his beer. We visited two pubs (where he reviewed every beer on the menus) and a brewery, with a side trip to the St Lawrence Market.

Our guide Dan was great! He was very knowledgeable about beer and the process. In addition to the beer stops, we also went to St. Lawrence Market where we tried some ice wines, mustard and pastries that were delicious. We also tried some sake. Overall, it was a fantastic tour!

My husband and I enjoyed the tour. It was a wonderful summer day and the tour guide provided a good deal of history while wandering around the city sampling a variety of beers. I would recommend others to make sure they have enough cash to cover their bar tabs, while there are ATMs in several of the establishments it makes it easier to have some change.

fantastic! it was just me and my friend on the tour with the guide (whose name was Dan, I believe) and we had a blast! the bars we went to and the beers were amazing, and I really feel like I learned a lot. Dan was very fun and informative and was easy to talk to. he made everything enjoyable and comfortable, even though it was just the three of us for 3.5 hours. he seemed to really know his stuff, and we could tell he enjoyed what he was talking about. really fun afternoon!

It was alot of fun on a very cold day and made for a fun afternoon. Plus we got 'educated' on beers and had no idea how much there was to learn. Jason was spectacular, sincere and you could tell that he really likes his job. Will do again!!!

This beer tour made for a very enjoyable afternoon! Our group ended up being very small which was aawesome. The tour guide Jason was spectacular. He was very passionate about Toronto and beer. Loved that we got some Toronto history other than just beer history. This was well worth it in terms of dollar value and I would highly recommend doing this tour to anyone that likes to have a good time.
