So much more than a food tour...We had one day to see Vancouver, and this tour was a GREAT way to get the most out of the short visit we had! As a traveler with limited time, I think the biggest challenge was figuring out where to go and where to eat, because of course everyone has a different recommendation, and it's difficult to choose. This tour solves that problem by allowing you to explore a lot of different foods at a lot of different venues, with the added bonus of a fascinating tour/history of the area. It gives you the ability to kill two birds with one stone - you get to cross off some sightseeing spots/city history tour while enjoying some really amazing food!!! Sooooo much fun! I can't recommend this tour enough!!! We had the good fortune of having the tour owner, Jewel, join us along with the official tour guide, Catherine who was also wonderful, so we got the inside scoop of how this tour came to be. As a former restaurant owner, Jewel knows the restaurant business and all the right people/places to go. She explained that each tour stop was designed to represent some aspect of cultures that contribute to the personality of the city of Vancouver. So, our first stop after meeting at Starbucks and getting our first taste there was a brewery that had a steam-powered heating system! The food was incredible at every stop, including the most amazing tortellini we've ever had, great bao chicken, mango mojito, fish and chips and I normally don't like fish!, bbq, and so much more! Important to also note is how accommodating they are of dietary issues. This tour is a must-do in Vancouver!

Great tour..better than was expecting! 10 stops to sample a variety of foods at local establishments. Tia was a great guide with just the right amount of local history and humour. Very enjoyable and filling! Do not eat before unless you have a big appetite.

The tour started at the Starbucks in Waterfront Station. However, we mistook it as the Starbucks in Gastown. So when we finally got to the correct location, it was more than 10 minutes late and yet, we found Tia, our guide, was there greeting us with a full smile. In the next 2 1/2 hours, she did a fantastic job by taking us through the history of Gastown, main characters shaping the town and, of course, various tasty venues. We love food tours and had been to many. This is definitely one of the best. Highly recommended!

Although we were drawn to this tour by the website's advertisement of Lobster Mac 'n Cheese and Guinness Steak which is no longer part of the tour, we were pleased with the food samplings served - which, by the way, were very generous. The variety from local brews to roasted pork, homemade tortellini, to several maple syrups caused our tastebuds to dance with delight. As if that were not enough, decadent chocolate, organic ice cream, and Vancouver's 1 cheesecake topped off an incredible foodie experience. Brent was fun, dramatic, and knowledgeable of Gastown's history. We strongly recommend his tour.

We toured with Max, who was a terrific guide. If we had more time visiting Vancouver, we definitely would have gone back to some of the restaurants/shops we visited. The tour was fun, and we tasted some seriously great food, as well as learning some of the history of Gastown. We had a little light rain it is winter in Vancouver, after all, but that didn't dampen our spirits!

We took this tour on a Friday afternoon/evening. We visited at least 10 different places that were unique, tasty, and close together. Our guide, Brent, was very cheerful and knowledgeable about both the places and the history of Gastown. Just be sure you're hungry before the tour starts you definitely won't be hungry after!

Brent was an entertaining guide and showed us some of the highlights of Gastown. The food was great and the portions big enough. Recommended if you want to experience and insiders view of Old Town Vancouver.

Reasonably good information about historical gas town, a bit edgy delivery. Food was good quality, would have been nice to hear from chiefs about the dishes they served and Resturant.
