Your 8-hour tour begins with a scenic drive to Horseshoe Bay, followed by a beautiful ferry ride to the Sunshine Coast. Pass small and large islands as you enjoy incredible views of the mountains lining Howe Sound.
After departing the ferry, you'll walk up to a park with impressive second growth forest and all the way to the top of Soames Hill. From here, enjoy two viewpoints with spectacular views of Howe Sound, the North Shore mountains, and Keats, Bowen, and Gambler Islands. After taking a short break, you'll head over to beautiful Gibsons, where the Canadian TV series "The Beachcombers" was filmed.
You can have lunch on the beach or (at your own expense) at Molly's Reach (featured in the TV show) overlooking Gibsons Landing. After lunch, relax, check out the shops (including a wonderful olive oil and balsamic shop that offers tastings), and maybe get dessert at one of the local bakeries.
From Gibsons, catch a bus back to the ferry terminal, where you will depart for Horseshoe Bay and Vancouver. Depending on traffic and the ferry schedule, you should get back to Vancouver around 5pm - 5:30pm.
