Grouse Mountain Admission

Vancouver, Canada

Leave Vancouver behind for a day in British Columbia’s great outdoors. With admission to Grouse Mountain, just north of the city, you can see endangered wildlife like bears and owls, ride one of North America’s largest aerial trams, go snowshoeing, see birds of prey in flight, watch lumberjacks in action, and enjoy fabulous views of the forest and Vancouver in the distance.

Just 8 miles (13 km) north of central Vancouver, Grouse Mountain is a great cultural and outdoor destination for the whole family any time of year. Your admission ticket includes a round-trip shuttle ride from downtown Vancouver, or you can make your own way there.

When you arrive, you are free to spend as much time as you like on the mountain. Enjoy the many activities included in your selected ticket option, and check out other optional activities like ziplining and paragliding, if you wish (own expense).

Peak Experience ticket
The Peak Experience ticket includes the 45-minute Lumberjack Show, set in an early-1900s-style logging camp; the Birds in Motion demonstration, during which you can watch graceful birds of prey in flight; and ranger talks about bears and other alpine animals at the Wildlife Refuge. Plus get access to the Peak Chairlift, a ski lift that provides a fun, sky-high way to enjoy views of the mountain in the summertime.

In the winter months, your ticket includes skating at the outdoor ice rink, sleigh rides and access to snowshoe trails. You can also enjoy the month-long Peak of Christmas celebration.

At anytime of year, your ticket includes wildlife films at the Theatre in the Sky, access to the Peak Chalet and a round-trip ride on the Skyride, a 1-mile (1.6-km) aerial tram that boasts spectacular views of Vancouver and its surrounding forest scenery.

Shopping and dining are also available at your own expense; a variety of restaurants and cafes are onsite, from fine dining to barbecue to Starbucks.

Excellent tour and for a great price! There was a free shuttle from the city centre to the mountain. The admission ticket granted access to most of the attractions including the lumberjack show, bird show, view of the grizzly bears, eco walks and others. The highlight of the trip was definitely taking the ski lift to the top of the mountain and admiring the view. I also went to the top of the windmill for the 360 degree view which was 15 dollars extra. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend!

Great cable car ride and chair lift. The bears came out to play. Ununfortunately because of the weather _br/_ the shows were cancelled.

One of our second planned things to do while visiting Vancouver. I can't believe you have access to this gem minutes from downtown. It was very beautiful however the cost and the return was a little off balance for us.

We caught the free shuttle from Canada Place get in early, saw the bears having a snooze in the pool, got some great photos. The bird demo and lumberjack show were great. We walked the Eco tour with a very informative guide. The only down side was the food ques and you needed toile fast fried food. Gtreat day recommend it

In Vancouver for four days, we spent one day at Grouse Mountain. Well worth it, great value and very enjoyable day. The attractions were excellent and the staff were knowledgable and friendly. Lunch was very good with options and prices affordable. We hope to come back again in winter! Highlights were the bears, in a natural habitat, and the Owl interpretive information session and the Predator bird display. Beautiful animals who looked happy and healthy. The lumberjack show was delightful and entertaining. This day was a highlight of our visit and we would strongly recommend it. Save a little patience for the end of the day, lots of people want to head back around the same time, and the staff did a good job of moving a lot of people, quickly and efficiently. Amazing views, bring your camera and a jacket!

Beautiful place!!! Plenty to do and see even if your not the outdoors type. Saw the bears, took a ride on the lift even caught the lumberjack show after hiking back from the different spots with breath taking views. I would absolutely return if I make it to Vancouver again.

Booked this cruise excursion separate from the cruise ship and glad we did. I would have been very disappointed to have paid the cruise ship fees for this disappointing excursion. We went up primarily to see the bears. My heart broke to see these beautiful creatures in such a small, unkept, filthy outside enclosure. Picture taking, however, did not disappoint.

A must do in Vancouver - we were fortunate the day we went as the clouds cleared and we had amazing views. We walked the Grouse Grind a great challenge we enjoyed but not for the faint hearted or unfit - The birds of prey show is a must do - it was amazing and the guides very informative. We also had our first grizzly bear sighting with the two rescue bears now safely residing in the park with great viewing areas of their enclosure.

The views from the top are great, and it's lovely to be out in the mountain air. Very easy getting there via free shuttle. My hats off to everyone who did the Grouse Grind run up the mountain.

Did this and Capilano Bridge in the same day. Took free bus from Vancouver to Capilano and then public transport very cheap to Grouse Mountain. Not being on an organised tour meant we were under no time pressures. Sights and activities at Grouse Mountain were great, especially the Bears who came out for a swim. Because we were not time driven we have a meal and some casual drinks at the Bistro. A great evening and then bus back to Vancouver. A really great day

vice nice. A little overcast but of course we have no control of the weather. Wish I had more time.

My family and I really enjoyed the activity and the mountain was beautiful with wonderful views. I rated this a 3 because the transportation was horrible. We were told that the free shuttle ran every 30 minutes on the 1/2 hour and it was extremely delayed. The last bus back into the city was at 6:30pm and no one informed us that we can get the return passes in advanced. So we ended up not getting a seat because all the seats were given out in advance. We took a cab to the ferry depot back into they city. With all the delays and back ups the shuttles had, they should have extended another bus or two to pick people up from the mountain.

Sadly we chose a day when it was very foggy and you could not see a thing outside the cable car. Having said this when we reached the top despite it being difficult to see the two bears , both my son and l were thrilled to see them . The other shows that are put on are well presented , particularly the lumberjack show which was funny and informative and we were both amazed by the skill and talent of the performers

Our Grouse Mountain tour was excellent! We ended up spending over 3 hours on the mountain taking in all the various 'attractions' once you are there. I highly recommend this tour and makes sure to allow adequate time for Lumberjack Show, Bird Show and taking the extra trip up the chairlift.

We visited in mid-May, and for us the main attraction was the amazing view of Vancouver and beyond from the visitor center at top. The pair of bears now long-time residents and a short movie were so-so. We did not do any hiking or skiing of course. We thought the tram/admission pricing to be a tad steep but OK. Also, to get us there and back we purchased a transit day-pass which brought us by bus over the Lions Gate Bridge to the base of Grouse Mountain, and returned via bus and then the Ferry, which added to the enjoyable day.

Ah, Grouse Mountain.......... I loved it! The tram ride was a nice visual experience, the mountain top was full of all kinds of places to walk and things to see! The views of Vancouver, far below, were wonderful! There was still some snow on the mountain, and the two bears were out and foraging for food. At every turn, there was an exciting photo to be taken!!! If you have your ticket on your phone, be advised that although we tried to go straight to the tram to have our phone tickets scanned, it did not work, and we had to go to customer service to have them issue us a paper ticket.

It was a wonderful trip the view was absolutely fantastic and the weather was good as well. There is a free shuttle bus from Canada Place which was great. Suggestion go in the morning see all the event, you will still have time to gas town near by, is walkable. We purely enjoyed.

This trip was great for what I wanted to see. I am afraid of heights so it took a lot of courage to get on the lift to go up. Now I was only primarily in the Bear Habitat and looking around...This would be a more fabulous place if you like the grouse grind, and hiking or running, or skiing. Since I do none of those at a more intense level. I wanted to go to one of the restaurant but end of season it was closed.

Unfortunately we had terrible weather - the mountain was covered in cloud, flog, mist and rain, so we didnt get to see anything very much. The lumberjack show was well done and very funny, even through the mist. we can control the weather!

Very good day. We took the shuttle bus which is free as a part of the ticket, from Canada Place, direct to Grouse Mountain. When you get to the cable car, you have to exchange your voucher for tickets, which took about 20 minutes, because of the queue. Make sure that you get a ticket for each person, not a group ticket._br/_ You can walk up, but you still need a ticket to go back down as you are not allowed to walk down._br/_ The cable car was great and we also went on the chair lifts to the very top of the mountain. We saw the very entertaining lumberjack show._br/_ We had lunch in the open air restaurant by the cable car, which was also very good._br/_ The mountain area is very beautiful, with amazing views across to Vancouver._br/_ There is also a bird show, which we did not watch, but saw the birds being handled by the rangers. _br/_ I think that the buses back are about every 30 minutes with the last being about 6.00pm, we left about 5.00pm.

Free shuttle offered from Canada Place waterfront every 30 minutes, taking 30 minutes to get there, and running 10/15 minutes from Grouse Mountain back to Canada Place. We booked the Peak Experience, which included the chairlift to the top. The views were amazing of Vancouver, but we were lucky with the clear day. Well organised with a small queue going in and coming back down. Lots going on at the top with a Bird Show, Lumberjack Show and the Grouse Mountain bears which we were lucky to see roaming their enclosure, and taking a dip in their pool. Great price offered by Viator, just a small problem with the voucher upon arrival at the ticket office, but soon rectified.
