Thank you Rowan for a pleasurable evening! The tour guide is completely in character the whole time and is quite a surreal experience - even down to carrying the lamp through the old streets of Gastown. Incredibly interesting stories, and well choreographed. We had a local intervene and try to disrupt us, but Rowan handled it professionally and should be commended on his efforts. Is quite a fascinating way to experience the history that Vancouver has to offer!

Rowan was an amazing tour guide, relating the story of Gastown with great knowledge and passion whilst in the 19th century character of George - complete with candle lamplight. We were taken to places we would never have ventured to alone, partly because we would not have found them and partly because they appeared unwelcoming - but they added richly to the story. We learnt a lot and enjoyed the whole experience - thank you very much Rowan, an excellent performance for your very first tour.

This was a lot of fun: entertaining, insightful, and a good walk around a busy area, learning about the area and the history. This group also has other local tours, and it'd be great to check them out too. We booked the Prohibition tour for the next day, based on this one, and were not disappointed.

We did not know what to expect when we booked - and was a a great experience in an area of the city we might never have seen. The story we followed was totally engaging and it was over an hour of being taken to a different place in time. Great story - well told and acted. Do it!!!!

Wow! Didn't really know what to expect, but this tour turned out to be a theatrical drama and a history lesson. Laurie our 'lost soul' stayed in character the entire tour and shared vivid stories of old Vancouver and its residents while we walked through the back alleys of Gastown. Loved it!

It was worth doing, but not over the top fantastic. We liked our tour guide - you could tell she was trying REALLY hard to make it interesting - something was missing though. Maybe I was expecting too much.

I thought this was going to be a ghost type of tour, but i'm glad it turned out to be about history of Vancouver. The tour guide Greg or Mark - sorry I forget was really good at telling the story and walking us through Vancouver at night. My friend recommended the tour.

Our group of four teens and grandparents all enjoyed the version of Sarah's story. It was different from other walking tours, nicely done, and gave insight and a different slant on history of early Vancouver particularly around the time of the Klondike gold rush days that none of us knew much about.
