Your experience begins in downtown Vancouver. From Vancouver you will travel through Stanley Park and over the landmark Lions Gate Bridge on your way up the Sea to Sky Highway to Squamish. Recently voted one of the Top 52 Places to Visit in North America by the New York Times, Squamish is located 40 kilometres (65 miles) north of Vancouver. On arrival in Squamish, you will literally travel from the sea to the sky on the gondola. The Sea to Sky Gondola is an incredible attraction, sure to amaze even the most experienced traveler.
Start your Sea to Sky experience at one of the centrally located pickup locations. The shuttle picks guests up at 9:30am at Hyatt Hotel (Melville Street entrance), 9:45am at Library Square (corner of Robson and Homer Streets) and 10am at Canada Place (right out the front). You will travel though Stanley Park and over the Lions Gate Bridge on your way to the Sea to Sky Highway, a breathtaking scenic drive with Howe Sound on one side and the towering Coastal Mountain range on the other.
The Sea to Sky Gondola is located 40 kilometres (65 miles) north of Vancouver. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes from Vancouver depending on the traffic conditions. On arrival at the Sea to Sky Gondola, the shuttle driver will escort you to the Guest Services desk where you will receive your lift ticket. Get ready to soar 2,900 feet (880 m) above sea level to the top of the mountain and have your camera ready for the views. See the magnificent Howe Sound fjord, Shannon Falls and the huge Squamish Chief Mountain on the way up. Take in the inspiring views of the never ending coniferous forest covering the mountains in the the surrounding area. Once at the top, take your time strolling across the Sky Pilot suspension bridge, a 330-foot (100-m) span offering 360-degree views of the mountains and Howe Sound below.
Can’t get enough of the views? Linger on the 5,000-square-foot (465-square-meter) viewing platform for even better views. And when all that sightseeing builds up an appetite, stop at the Summit Lodge Restaurant for lunch before making the descent in the gondola. You will have approximately 4 hours at the summit of the Sea to Sky Gondola to explore the cantilevered lookout platforms, the graded, wheel chair friendly trails and the magnificent views.
We had to meet at Canada Place and travelled to Squamish by the shuttle for about a hour depending on traffic to do the Sea to Sky Gondola tour and the scenery was beautiful we did the Panorama Trail 1.6km . Our driver was very kind as my husband walks with a cane. This tour was a very enjoyable one and the scenery was amazing. The only thing I find is that there are not enough signs in Canada to direct you to the exact thing you would like to see, even with a map I feel that signposts would make life a lot easier for everyone and you wouldn't waste time that you don't really have when you are on these tours. Would I suggest this tour very much, we really enjoyed it. In my opinion the Wonderland Lake Loop 1.6km was very rough pathway and not really worth the effort.

A great trip, worth every cent. David our coach driver was very informative and had a very clear mike voice. Make sure you do the Panorama Trail out to the Chief viewing platform. We only had one day in Vancouver so this trip still allowed us time to walk around the waterfront area and have some dinner before heading out to the airport for the midnight fly out.

The drive up the Sea to Sky Highway is phenomenal and is one of the world's most scenic drives and never disappoints. The Gondola offers amazing views and at the top is a great restaurant, walking trails and a suspension bridge. From the base is an additional trail to the beautiful Shannon Falls.

Bus driver Dave was delightful and entertaining. The weather was superb, and the experience, was astonishing. The views are breathtaking, with sights of the water below, and the mountain ranges that seemed to be never ending. 5 stars all the way. The only downfall, was that the company puts their logo on the side of the bus, which covers the windows, making it hard to see out of. it would have been nice to have full visibility on our drive there and back.
