Vancouver Harbor and Indian Arm Lunch Cruise

Vancouver, Canada

See the sights of Vancouver’s waterfront while you dine on a four-hour lunch cruise. Travel through Vancouver Inner Harbor and Burrard Inlet, before heading north into the spectacular setting of Indian Arm. Nestled within the Coast Mountains, the area was once heavily glaciated, leaving behind a spectacular landscape of lush green forests that protect this inlet from the open ocean.

A four-hour Vancouver lunch cruise offers a fantastic opportunity to see the attractions that line Vancouver’s waterfront, dine on a buffet lunch and enjoy the spectacular scenery of Indian Arm. Whether you are a visitor to Vancouver or you have lived here all your life, you will not want to miss cruising through Indian Arm, a 12-mile (18-km) coastal mountain fjord located right in Vancouver's backyard. You’ll discover these calm inland waters aboard the luxurious MV Harbor Princess.

The cruise first travels through Vancouver's Inner Harbor and Burrard Inlet. Admire Stanley Park, the Vancouver skyline and other sights from the water. Then head north into the beautiful setting of Indian Arm. Nestled in the Coast Mountain Range, the area was once covered in glaciers, which left behind a stunning landscape of lush green forests that shield this inlet from the open ocean.

Enjoy a catered buffet lunch as you cruise through Indian Arm (sample menu in Itinerary section). See the exquisite Silver Falls, and if you are lucky, you might see seals, bald eagles, herons or black bears. Indian Arm is truly a photographer's and nature-lover’s delight.

Our trip, reservation and all that was seen on this cruise was one of the most enjoyable and the very best moments. The lunch was excellent and the service was no less. The view was exquisite and the information received was unforgettable. Thank you. Now looking forward to our next excursions with Viator in control.

September 2nd, brilliant sunshine, a clean, comfortable ship, amazing scenery, and a delicious meal: can I say more? Well, yes, actually. The organization was very well done. When we boarded we a party of four were shown to our pre-assigned table as everyone was and served with cups of excellent coffee or tea. In due course lunch was served, again exhibiting excellent organization as each table was invited down to the buffet. Help was cheerfully given carrying the meal upstairs to our deck, and coffee and water were offered several times. The food was delicious - plenty of salad - excellent salmon and chicken._br/_ The one thing we lacked was a map available to show us where we were, and a commentary to give current and historical information on what we were seeing. That would have been nice - but it was a most relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.

Fantastic Tour! Good food and beautiful views of Vancouver from the harbor and up the Indian Arm Inlet. At the turn around the captain put the boat into a small inlet with a gorgeous waterfall cascading down into Indian Arm. Be sure to pack sunscreen if you plan to be out on the deck. Our weather couldn't have been better. We highly recommend the tour, especially on a clear blue day.

Very enjoyable, views stunningly beautiful, good way to learn about Vancouver from the water. Lunch excellent. Commentary most informative. Only small negative ,the music was a little mournful! Rod Stewarts song book would be good and please a wide range of ages! Our out of town guests were very impressed plan on taking future visitors on this cruise.

Five stars for meeting my expectations. Efficient and friendly office and crew, including captain with whom I visited in the wheelhouse. Lunch was more and better than expected.

We had great weather. The commentary was excellent, covering all the starboard features so nothing was missed. To get so close to the waterfall was an amazing experience and the lunch served was fantastic. We thoroughly recommend this tour.

Nice trip. Beautiful scenery. The meal was OK, two choices: salmon and chicken both with rice, the salmon was a bit overcooked. Nice potato salad and green salad. Nice dessert. _br/_ I did not have anything from the bar. _br/_ This cruise is pleasant if one wants to relax, have a meal and have a chance to talk with accompanying persons while still sightseeing. _br/_ The commentary is good, informative and just enough. _br/_ Overall, good experience.

Boring - much too long. Vancouver harbor proper is interesting but once under the bridge nothing but total boredom. Food was ok but the total price paid for the excursion was exorbitant.

A fabulous day. The boat was rather posh. Didn't expect that. We had allocated tables inside the boat with full length windows to enhance your views. The lunch was very good buffet style and eaten at your table. Great views of both the city, the harbour and the steep tree slopes during the trip.

The Vancouver Harbor Cruise was excellent. The tables were set with white linen table cloths and the food was great. I have never been on a short cruise 4 hours that served such a great meal. Love every moment of this trip and would recommend it to everyone.

Very relaxing. Well organized. Beautiful scenery with interesting facts given. Weather was cloudy and misty but Indian Arm was incredible. Waterfalls running because of the rain. Food was okay. Would do again.

This tour was well worth the money. It was beautiful and the boat was perfect for both inside viewing and outside viewing. The food was very good. The boat was clean and the dinning area was set up in a very nice formal fashion. Enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to everyone.

We were happy with the cruise boat's cleanliness and upkeep. The food was very good- fried chicken and salmon. The captain almost gets you wet at Silver Falls.

The staff, the food, the narrator, the vessel were great. Only disappointment is that I thought we were going all the way up to the Wigwam Inn.

Everything was as advertised. The narration throughout the trip provided all kinds of information about what we were seeing, the Port of Vancouver, Indian Arm and other general tidbits. The food was good and plentiful. Of course I did not expect gourmet dining. Besides the narrator, the captain was more than willing to explain about the river, currents, navigating past other vessels and the operation of the boat. Very enjoyable four hours.

Tour was wonderful. Boat is comfortable, and has several levels, so seating was easy. I have mobility limitations so host sat me at an entry level table, which made it easy for me. It would have been easy even for a wheelchair to be seated on the entry level deck. Ship has bathrooms, down a few stairs, so easy to get to them. Lunch was delicious. All staff were friendly, informative and seemed to really like their jobs!

What a serene 4 hour trip. We saw sea lions and an American bald eagle, visited many of the coves in the harbour. The weather was fantastic and only added to the experience. Food was good too - a choice of either salmon or chicken with a salad accompaniment. Can definitely recommend.

I took my parents and in-laws on this trip and we all loved it. Great food and service, beautiful weather and stunning views. I would highly recommend it to both locals and tourists visiting the area. Great for those who have difficulty getting around as there is not too much walking. Loved the white table linen, very classy!

The cruise exceeded expectations. A very comfortable boat with multiple levels and viewing angles. Good commentary. Good seating with great views during the meal. The lunch meal was very good, better than most ship-board meals on these type of cruises. A very satisfying experience. Highly recommended

Our family really enjoyed this tour. We found the crew very accommodating, the boat clean and comfortable and the food very nice. This was an opportunity for our family to relax, hear about the area via occasional commentary from a crewmember and enjoy conversation as we roamed the boat during the cruise. We all felt this was good value for the price and we would do it again.

Food was great and cruise was relaxing. The major attraction was the waterfall and I had hoped there was a bit more to see other than some houses and seals. It was still work it because of the delicious food and opportunity to see something other than sky scrappers.

Beautiful scenery on the way up to the Indian Arm. Great and relaxing way to see the Vancouver skyline, the harbour and all of it's bustling activity. Was with my daughters 14 and 17 yrs and they enjoyed it as well. The staff was all very friendly.

Absolutely loved this trip. It was relaxing, fun, wonderful food and service. Beautiful scenery. We had a wonderful table reserved for us on B deck, windows all around and you can go in and out, easy to get around in this boat. We enjoyed it so much we are thinking of booking it again. We were amazed at how close this boat got to the waterfalls so you could get great photos.

This was definitely a value. The views were spectacular. We spoke to 2 local residents who were on the cruise who were just as pleased and awed with the cruise as we were, even though they had lived in Vancouver for over 30 years.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the very relaxing trip to Indian Arm. It was very well organized and a table was reserved for us on the boat which was great as you didn't have to rush for a table. Lunch was very nice and plentiful. Everyone was friendly on the trip and we chatted to some really nice tourists from the States. Weather was quite nice and at least it didn't rain. All in all a very nice day trip. Would definitely recommend it.

It was a beautiful trip!! We had four senior citizen's with us. We requested to be seated somewhere for minimal walking, so it was perfect! by the entrance, by a window, by the food, by the restroom Food was delicious and view was great!! My dad really enjoyed the relaxing trip. The waterfall was such a special treat! Only complaint was that there was stairs for the restroom, but we were ok, just not sure for someone who can not walk stairs. But otherwise truly a wonderful worthwhile excursion.
