You'll be given a comprehensive overview of Victoria and will then have about 3 hours of free time to explore on your own by foot. Top landmarks include the Royal British Columbia Museum, Miniture World, the Bug Zoo and the IMAX Museum.

The day was a beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The trip to Butchart was the highlight, but, the reat of Victoria was fun. The cerry rides were wo derful and we had an excellent buffet on the way home.

We had an unbelievable day touring downtown Victoria then on to Butchart Gardens, a must see for anyone appreciating nature's beauty! Meghan was a fantastic guide who jumped in to guide us when a co-worker called off. She was helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to spend the day with! This was a top favorite tour from the bus, ferry, downtown area and gardens! We've taken many viator tours, usually have to get to a central location to start the tour, all tours we took in Vancouver picked us up at our hotel, very prompt also!

Nice ferry ride with very good tour director.Trip to Victoria was about right length but the Butchart Gardens are beyond belief. Everything was in bloom at the same time, Views are gorgeous. This is a must see if possible while in Vancouver.

We had a really good day in Victoria it was very well organised and our guide and driver was Jenna who really new her stuff._br/_ Weather helped as it was lively and sunny we took on all the major attractions and had a couple of hours free time to have a look round. Fisherman's whalf is very busy and food outlets have long queues._br/_ Good crossing on the ferry and the scenery is spectacular. The Buchan gardens are amazing especially the sunken garden._br/_ Overall it's a long day ours was 13.5 hours but worth it

Amazing experience! It was raining but that just made the whole Butchart Gardens experience more magical. There was a light drizzle with rainbows to top the already stunning gardens. This is a must-do when in Vancouver!

We were finishing up the weekend in Vancouver after a week long Alaska cruise. We didn't have a rental car but still wanted to see the area. The trip was well organized and the guides were very knowledgeable. The day was planned to maximize our day and we had plenty of time to enjoy the sights. We highly recommend this trip.

This is Victorias best kept secret! This tour was an excellent way to spend our time and the Ferry Over was outstanding and highly scenic as we enjoyed the water and food on the way over...Go to the Buffet if it's COLD during your trip!! You wont be disappointed

This was a very good way to tour the gardens. We did not have to think about getting on an off the island. We had gotten sick while being on the ship and it was nice to have things taken care of for us. The gardens and Victoria was lovely. We had ample time to explore the town and do some shopping and lunch.

A very nice day out. The island was a great place to be, so vibrant, the weather being hot and sunny added to the pleasure. Plenty of places that are easy to walk to. Great tour of Victoria and the amazing Butchart Gardens even in October... Surprising part is that our bus was able to drive right on to the ferry. I kept thinking that we are just going to ferry over and get on another bus for some reason. See this many cars drive into the ferry and enjoying the ride on the passenger decks was a nice experience.

Unfortunately it was pouring rain the day we went - this made visibility in the ferry very difficult. The gardens are magnificent even in the rain. My one complaint is that at this time of year with the need to make the 7 pm ferry back, the time in Victoria is very limited. We chose to eat and by the time we were done, most attractions were closing 5 pm and we had to be back at the bus at 5:20. I think the gardens and downtown Victoria should be two separate tours so that you can fully take advantage of all there is to see and do.

Our tour guide David was awesome!! Pick up at the hotel right on time. Left for the ferry boat. Enjoyed the crossing. Drove to the city of Victoria where David told us where to go and what to see. Had about 3 hours to tour on our own and have lunch. Then went to the gardens and they were spectacular! This is a great no hassle tour. No worries about driving, reserving a time for the ferry, or getting tickets for the gardens. All done and you got to sit back and enjoy the scenery! Highly recommend this tour.

Did not get to see Victoria very much. Just got let off bus and a walk to get picked up. Wish we could of had at least a hour more. Did not experience Victoria. Butchart Gardens part was perfect!. Thanks. Because of time in Victoria, the rating is a 3 star.

Great experience from beginning to end. Our tour guide Tim was outstanding by pointing out little known things and regaling us with entertaining stories. He also left time in the tour to take us the scenic route back to the ferry on Vancouver Island. Butchart Gardens were beautiful, the capital building was amazing, and Granville Market was a great shopping experience. This is a LONG tour 12 hours, so make sure you pack some snacks and be prepared for sudden weather turns. Also, my wife is not a fan of boat rides, however, there is no up-and-down on the ferry, so she felt just fine on each leg.

The best part of our trip was seeing the B. Gardens, where we had a lot of time to explore the grounds. They did drop us off by a good place to eat, but we had to walk about 7 blocks to meet up with the bus again. If you like to shop, you will find a lot of shops in those 7 blocks, but not much time. I wish that they would have included a visit to one of the museums. We did like the fact that they picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the tour.

Overall the tour was excellent. It was our first trip to Vancouver/Victoria and honestly we would do the trip to Victoria differently next time._br/_ That said, our driver was top notch. He knew so much about the area and the gardens, and he was so accommodating to different requests for the 3 hours free time we had in Victoria. My husband has mobility issues, and he dropped us right in front of a superb pub, the Bard and Banker. We had an excellent lunch there, then I walked around town while my husband held up the bar. Our only complaint is the long bus ride to the ferry and the ferry ride itself. Bus ride was a good hour, and ferry 1 1/2 hrs. Next time I would fly to Victoria via float plane or helicopter. It was a really, really long day, but we are glad we did it. Victoria and the gardens are worth it. Another very well planned and executed tour by Viator.
