So-so. The info via the headphones was very cursory and not very informative. This is more like checking the box vs getting a good sense of the city. I have been on other hop on hop off tours in different parts of the world and they were far superior to this one.

Fantastic bus tours. There are several lines and all offer a very modern bus, which is well heated in winter, open top if its not too cold. Great sights and routes. Good regularity of buses, although be careful to read the small print on when some of the lines run - not all are every 20-30 minutes throughout the day - some are specific days only or only twice in a day. Other than that I would highly recommend this brilliant way to get around the city.

I love viator, but I did not love the company Vienna Sightseeing bus hop on/off. Unprofessional, expensive, and will ripped you off. We bought a ticket and lost the ticket but had a receipt and they did not care. Made us buy another ticket. Please do not use them. Horrible and dishonest company.

Horrible and dishonest company. WILL take your hard earning money!!!!! Please do not use this company. There are other companies that are way better and cheaper and professional than them.

I liked walking around the city more - but still OK option.

There are a couple of hop-on and off bus tours in Vienna. I took the yellow one as it was a little cheaper than the other bus company. I made a big mistake! I paid for a 48 hour tour which allows you to use the bus for 2 days. When you show up with your paper voucher they give you a receipt you have to show again the next day. Well, I misplaced my receipt but I showed up the next day with my original, dated voucher/receipt that showed I paid for a 48 hour tour. The two women working that day were rude and obnoxious. They made my 4 friends get off the bus who had their receipts and they refused to acknowledge the voucher I showed them. They required another 20 euro from me for losing my receipt. The lack of professionalism and customer service put a damper on things. I really didn't want to ride on that bus anymore. Also, the bus only operates from 10 am -4:30 pm. So limited! I recommend using Vienna's public transport. The subway is pretty easy to navigate and much cheaper!

Very nice. Lots of walking and seeing. Magnificent palaces, museums. I lost my camera in one of the bus. But the bus company helped me to find it and I truly appreciate their intequity.

You have to be able to spend a lot of time going around to the different sites as the buses move through crowded gtraffic.

Great City to visit. Make sure to go to Shounbrum Palace and enjoy the gardens and the walk to the top of the mountain as well as visit the museums and Opera house. We stayed in the Le Meridian. It is a good hotel but a little bit short in filling the Fridge with right items. Rooms are big and fully equipped.

Great way to see this expansive city. We managed to do the yellow, red and green line in one day. The green line takes you to lower Austria (wine country and a panoramic view of Vienna) so definitely value for money!

Got to see most of Vienna unfortunately what I didn't like was the lack of airconditioning in the summer...however, this is probably the norm here but it covered what I needed to see.

I was only in Vienna for a day and this was a great way to get an overview of the city. There are several different routes with easy-to-read maps. The buses were timely, easy to use and very convenient.
Review by: Gene W, October 2016
Good overview of city. All Lang available via earbuds however info was delivered via taped message. When traffic became congested the tape did not synchronize with the sites from the bus window because bus was stopped. If in Vienna for a time and you plant to go to museums or attractions, consider the hop on/off with a Vienna card package. This will allow you entrance with no admissions.

I've decided not to use Viator for our Hop-on Hop-off tours anymore. We never know what line we will be getting until we contact the company and find out what the bus looks like. The vouchers only mention the company running the bus line and not the actual but tour logo. This bus line in was not very friendly. The only person on the bus was the driver. We depended on the audio to tell us where we were at. Unfortunately the English language audio wasn't working, so we couldn't tell where we were at.
