Begin your tour with a pickup from your central Vienna hotel, Vienna Opera House, or the city’s Südtiroler Platz. Then, enjoy free time to explore the gardens with their symmetrical terraces and fountains, or relax with a coffee or snack such as apple strudel (both at own expense) at the café.
Afterward, drive to the 18th-century Belvedere Palace, built by Prince Eugene of Savoy, whose upper palace houses a splendid collection of Austrian art, including Gustav Klimt’s Kiss, the highpoint of his ‘Golden Period.’
Enjoy discounted entry to view the collection or choose to enjoy free time instead. Then, rejoin your coach and end your tour with a drop-off back at Südtiroler Platz from where you can take an optional transfer to the State Opera.

The tour itself was interesting and the history incredible. Our tour groups were rather large. The tour guides were a bit rude at times; but I think it was stressful for them having such large groups and the palace being so crowded.

Vienna is a full of interesting buildings and getting a tour by coach before the trip out to the Schonbrunn Palace is a good way to get a quick idea of where some of them are located. Keeping track during the commentary of which building was being referred to was sometimes a bit difficult. The time at the Schonbrunn Palace was very well managed and the guide was very informative.

The logistics on this were great, and it's a good way to avoid the lines and also get very basic information about the Palace and the City. I found the information, though, to be very superficial and not very informative and I didn't feel super comfortable asking the guide questions even though I did ask a few. We could have a learned a lot more about the Imperial family, I thought.

With my interest historical the visit to the Shonbrunn Palace was indeed wonderful despite it being a rainy day. I would have liked this tour to include the Belvedere as well. This tour gives you a broad idea of Vienna prompting you to investigate further its many historical attractions. Highly recommended.

Well, we only saw Schönbrunn Palace ... we didn't really explore the other attractions in Vienna. I suggest that you explore Vienna in your own.

Excellent tour led by a very knowledgeable guide. Although the palace was crowded we enjoyed the visit and would recommend this tour._br/_ It was very good value for money. We were picked up near our hotel on time and the tour ended at the Opera House which is the centre of Vienna. Could not have been better!

The tour is an excellent introduction to Vienna. We passed many historic buildings in the Ringstrasse, then went to Schonbrunn Palace, most interesting, BUT very crowded, not the fault of the guide, but the popularity of the Palace. The tour then continued to the Belvedere, where it was optional to leave the group. We would recommend that anyone who has the time, should take this option, it is a very interesting art gallery with a beautiful garden. .

I would pass on this an instead do the Vienna Pass Including Vienna Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Ticket. The only advantage to this tour is that it includes a guided tour of the Palace. We also got the Vienna Hop on, Hop off with the Vienna Pass. The pass gets you into the Palace as well as over 50 other attractions in Vienna for free as well as the hop on, hop off bus.

The Palace is nice but very crowded and you only get to see a small part of the palace. We were diappointed that we had signed up for an English tour and we we put in an English German speaking tour. We would have wanted to hear more and be able to ask questions but could not as the guide was busy speaking German and then rushing us through to the next room.

Do not take this tour. Viennsa Sightseeing (the supplier) leaves out of its description that after they pick you up from your hotel they transfer you to a bus station to get on a large coach and that they build in a 4o minute and #34;bathroom break and #34; before the tour begins. DONT WASTE YOUR $.

It was a nice tour but just a bus ride through the city and then a relatively short visit to the Palace-there were too many tour groups competing for the same and we rushed thgrough is about 40 minutes-too short in my opinion

This tour is a must when you are in Vienna. The tour gives you a wonderful and informative city highlights on the way to the Palace. The palace itself is a treat for the eyes and you learn about the famous Habsburg famil. Our tour guide Jenny was wonderful. She made our tour a memorable one.

A very important matter is the fact that they picked us up right at the door of our hotel. My wife is handicapped and this was extremely important to us. The tour guide was excellent and very helpful. I would recommend this tour. _br/_ We did have another tour by the same company with problems in terms of the pick up. On that tour it was supposed to be pick up at the hotel, but my wife had to struggle to walk five or six blocks to get to the bus. We were very unhappy with that other particular tour.

Doing the BIG BUS hop on hop off tour was better. More comprehensive. it takes you to Schonbrunn where you can rent an audioguide and get a more thorough tour. we were rushed and dropped off at the opera where we got drenched! Not good value!

The guide was always in a hurry and tried to rush us through everything. I understand it was a big group to manage, but the way she handled things could have been much better one of the examples is - instead of saying in a rude voice to everyone that we will leave you behind if you are not here at XX time, she could have been a little polite and said please be here by XX or our tour will run late and we wont be able to see everything we planned.

Excellent tour! Great tour guide. This is the only way to see the Palace. Warning! The tour we selected said it was in English. Not completely! It was done in English and Spanish. So you only get half the things you see explained in English. He is giving the translation while your going by things that you will never get explained. The tour should be labeled Multi lingual.

Good tour except it wasn't clear in the tour description about seeing Belvedere. Tour guide said that the morning tour we took the 2pm tour stops at Belvedere but afternoon doesn't because it closes at6pm. Understand that but I would have taken the morning tour had I known about the difference.

The tour itself had great potential, however the tour guide made it difficult to enjoy. She was very monotoned during the bus ride, which made it quite difficult to stay awake in the early morning. Although the tour was supposed to be in English, she spoke French the majority of the time and her English was difficult to understand. I wish I could recommend this tour, but with my experience I would say I could have saved my money and toured the sites by myself.
