As you cruise through the Nation's Capital, past the monuments, White House and American icons, you will receive a great orientation, informative historical and current-day information, heaps of unique and fascinating stories, fantastic photo ops and superb personal service from your guide. Your tour begins with a 30-minute training session to learn the basics of maneuvering the Segway scooter. Once under way, visit Washington D.C. highlights, including: the U.S. Capitol Building, the White House, the National Museum of Natural History, Ford's Theater, the National Air and Space Museum, the Washington Monument, and many more!
Your tour guide also takes you past the White House, United States Capitol, Washington Monument, Smithsonian Castle, Lincoln Memorial, Pennsylvania Avenue, National Galleries of Art, Vietnam Memorial, WWII Memorial, Korean Memorial, Old Executive Office Building and The National Mall. Throughout the tour, the guide provides both the history and stories surrounding the sites and makes sure plenty of photo opportunities are available.

If you are up to riding a Segway, then this is the tour for you! Mike took our small group on a 2 hour tour of most all the important sights in DC. He was so knowledgeable about dates, events and lots of inside scoops on the city. He stopped many times to tell us about the sights._br/_ This isn't a tour for the weak or frail, I was exhausted when it was done. If you are up to the challenge, then it is totally the trip for you.

The tour was great! It's good there is training prior to the tour as we did go through traffic and around pedestrians. We had a great time. Sara was excellent. We saw so much and learned so much that we would not have been able to learn on our own. There we only a couple of things we would change if possible. The first is we felt a little short because another person on our tour dropped out because she was afraid. We understand that. But when Sara had to leave us to take back the Segway, that took away from our time. Someone else from the company should have come to pick it up and our lead person should have stayed with our group to continue. The only other thing we would have preferred was a food or snack opportunity and a bathroom break. Otherwise we would have given it a full 5 stars.

We enjoyed the Segway right up until the last 5 minutes of the trip when my husband fell off. It was fun until then though. : I wish we would have been able to stop at the new WWII memorial though instead of the Navy Memorial. The Navy Memorial was nice, but would have enjoyed the time more at the WWII.

This was a fun tour, and Viator, the booking company, and also the Segway company were great! I got there with a friend and they started teaching us to use the Segway. My friend was not able to get comfortable and aborted the tour. I still went, and thoroughly enjoyed it. And my friend was refunded half of what she paid for the trip. We both thought that was fair. Well? To be honest, I wasn't too impressed. It was fun learning about and riding on a Segway, but I wasn't fond of riding them through the the city traffic, it made me feel anxious and nervous. Also, it was very hard to hear our tour guide over the walkie-talkie's with the traffic noise. I felt like I could have done this as a walking tour all on my own time, and spent more time at the monuments and memorials I liked.

We use the segway tours in large cities we visit in order to get a good overview of the attractions to then explore on our own. This tour does not disappoint. Fiona was a very good guide, however, we spent too much time riding and not enough time hearing about the sights. I would suggest to use an audio system so that the guide can talk to all of the riders while riding. It would make things a lot more interesting. Washington DC is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and it deserves more attention to its amazing sights!
