Whistler White-Water Rafting

Whistler, Canada

Experience the exhilarating adventure of white-water rafting in Whistler. There are three rivers and three levels of adventure for you to choose from. Opt for an easy Class I or II rafting experience on the Cheakamus River, a slightly rougher Class II or III white-water voyage on the Green River or a challenging Class III or IV river journey on the Elaho-Squamish River. Learn from your on-raft guide proper white-water techniques and get the most out of your time in Whistler.

Get the most out of your time in Whistler by hitting the river. And not just dipping in it, but rafting down the rapids. Choose between three rivers with different levels of rapids: I–II (the easiest), II–III (moderate) or III–IV (advanced).

The gentlest option is the Cheakamus River, a mild Class I to II journey. This river allows inexperienced rafters to enjoy white water. The voyage is particularly scenic and perfect for families with young children and even grandparents.

The Green River, just north of Whistler Village, provides a slightly bouncier, Class II to III rafting experience. The river is appropriate for first-timers and families who like an adventure. It’s certain to provide a bonding experience for all on the raft.

The Elaho-Squamish River, in Paradise Valley near Squamish, offers a Class III to IV rafting adventure, letting you experience the power of nature. Enjoy a snack while on the river and after the trip eat a hearty barbecue lunch.
Whichever river rafting adventure you choose, it’s guaranteed to be both scenic and adventurous.

Guide was outstanding, however rafting was too short in duration. Most of the time was taken up with being gathered like cows for the wetsuits and paddles....not worth the price! Better off going rafting in Oregon!

The tour itself was good, however they offered poor changing place. It was in a dark tent, its ground tilting and the bench not well placed. Gravels on the ground hurt feet, I stood on the bench and it fell over, almost leading me to be thrusted by a steel stick. They also didn't offer food.
