Board a coach at the central Zurich bus terminal and savor the scenery as you drive 2 hours south through Switzerland's beautiful Bernese Oberland to Lauterbrunnen. Here you'll hop on a cogwheel train for a ride up the Alps via the Kleine Scheidegg mountain pass. Climb up, up, up, savoring views of the towering mountains around you, until you reach Jungfraujoch. You're officially at the highest train station in Europe, at an elevation of 11,333 feet (3,454 meters)! At the Top of Europe, experience a breathtaking panorama of the Swiss Alps enveloped in eternal snow and ice. Walk through the heart of a glacier in the Ice Palace, overlook the Aletsch Glacier (Europe's longest glacier) from the sweeping Sphinx Observatory and spot the snow-capped peaks of neighboring France and Italy beyond. Grab a drink or a bite to eat at the panoramic restaurant if you wish. After your time at Jungfraujoch, ride the cogwheel train back down to Lauterbrunnen, where your coach awaits for the 1-hour drive back to Zurich. Arrive at the Zurich bus terminal in the evening.
The tour was well organized and the views from the Top of Europe station were spectacular. It's fast-paced but not rushed. We had plenty of time taking pictures at destination. Train rides were interesting. The tour can be improved by not making stops in Lucerne to pick up additional passengers. It was a 30-45 minute detour.

While you could probably make this journey to Jungfraujoch on your own, it is nice to have a package that gets you up there and provides easy access. The trip is certainly worth it for the views alone along the way, much less for the access to the interesting activities at the top of the mountain, such as an ice cave and ziplining across snow fields.

Good but the trip has lots of interchanges and this is a bit tiring!!! Apart from the time provided at the top is also less. could have given more time to explore more at the top

A fantastic, well organised day. Barbara, our host, was amazing, knowledgeable and fun. I suggest you take an extra layer or two to step out on to the Plateau as it was -17 out there when we visited early February, but we did not let this hamper our day or spoil the view. A great day in every way.

Our tour guide, Raymond, was very good. He was enthusiastic and took the time to tell us about the landmarks and towns as we passed them. He helped us take pictures and gave us many good recommendations. The Top of Europe was very neat. The view above the clouds was incredible. We would highly recommend this trip!

Easy to sign up online with telephone assist as necessary. Tomas, our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable about the environs along the way. He provided excellent coverage and direction of the group during the transfers from coach to trains. Bus comfort was excellent as were the driving skills of the bus driver. The train ride was wonderful especially with a full sun day. The time at the top of the Jungfrau was sufficient to enjoy all the recommended activities. Check the weather forecast - without partial or full sun you will miss amazing views from the Top of Europe which are sublime.

Good time at famous Jungfraujoch. Glad I found time to make it. The tour was well organised and our guide was trying best to show case his knowledge of places we've been through. We were very comfortable the way he connected to every single tour member. One-star is dropped due to long-time stop at Interlaken doing nothing except shopping spot. And it could be perfect if a bottle of water included.

Although we didn't get to see anything once we got to the top of the mountain due to lots of wind and snow, the entire day was a great experience from start to finish. Kid was an excellent and entertaining tourguide, and I would really recommend this tour.

An excellent and amazing trip. Well worth the money, Raymond our guide was full of knowledge and very helpful throughout the trip nothing was too much trouble for him, giving advice, taking photos for us, saying which was te best places to eat. We had an amazing day on this trip. Our tour guide was called Kid, he is a great guide but the other reviews about his character are right. For us Kid made they day, he helped us get great photos and he made us giggle with his mannorisms! The views are incredible and worth every penny. Just book it!

This tour was fantastic from start to finish. It's a long day but you can sleep on the coach there or back but the scenery is so beautiful that you honestly wouldn't want to. We had the guide KID who I had read reviews about previously. He certainly provides a fun tour, you can be sure you will get the best photo opportunities and photos while on this tour if he is your guide. Highly recommend this tour.

This tour looked expensive at the time of booking - it was worth every cent. Overheated bus to begin, no wifi, overloud commentary acccent difficult to understand but all improved as the day went on. Super train journeys and amazing scenery - can only be experienced , defies all superlative description.

I've taken the Jungfraujoch trip a total of 3 times and every time was absolutely amazing. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants an extraordinary experience. We were lucky on the last trip to have a clear day and really amazing views. I don't think it matters whether you go in winter or summer I've done both, it's still a wonderful way to get a sense of the vastness of our world! And a shout out to the organizational aspects and the tour guides...you are all exceptional!

Our family 2 adults, twin 8-year olds, and our teenage daughter took this tour in July 2017. We loved it. Kid was our tour director and he could not have been more fun. We read reviews that he was fantastic we're in that camp and from others that he was rude. Here's the thing - Kid was responsible for at least 60 people whom he had never met and that spoke a variety of languages. We made several stops. Kid kept the group together, moving in the right direction, and on the right bus and multiple trains - he didn't lose anyone. He recognized all of us and made sure we were where we needed to be. When you take this tour and if you get Kid, trust him. He knows how to use your camera and where to take the best photos. He'll get you there and you'll appreciate him yelling family or my group'. Kid, if you read these things, THANK YOU! Now, about the tour. W.O.W! We started with a double decker bus ride from Zurich and picked up additional people along the way to Interlaken. If you're prone to car sickness, try to sit up top, close to the front. We had a quick 15-20 minute stop in Interlaken and then back on the bus to the first train. We took 2 trains up to Jungfraujoch. The views along the way were incredible. A photo cannot capture the green of the mountains, the depths of the valleys, the beauty of a waterfall emerging from almost nowhere on the cliffs. It was spectacular. And it was an overcast day. I'll get to that... Once on top of the mountain, we gazed at the views from the Sphinx Terrace, and then walked through the Alpine Sensation area to the Ice Palace kids favorite!. We thought some of the best views were from the Glacier Plateau where you can look back up to see the Sphinx Observatory. We had lunch on our own, toured the gift shop, and met Kid and the others on the tour to trek back to Zurich. We were exhausted and all of us had an amazing time. Trying to see the world and please 8-year olds plus a teenage girl at the same time is not always easy. This tour was truly a great trip for the whole family. Everyone was amazed a little more grateful to live on this beautiful planet. I said I'd get back to the overcast day part. It was overcast and lightly raining in Zurich. At a minimum, it was gray for the entire trip up to Jungfraujoch. The truth is, when we saw the weather, we thought we wasted a day in Switzerland and the money we spent for a tour just to see clouds from the observatory. Kid said not to worry. He said it would be clear on top. Kid was right! It was beautiful on top of the mountain and we were treated to views like we've never seen. So worth the time and money for this experience. Obviously, we recommend this tour. Our children recommend this tour. It's was a lot of fun and I hope your experience is as wonderful as ours!

I must say what we saw was amazing, however the whole trip was ruined by the tour guide kid. Firstly, we were told it was an English tour with a tour guide in English - his English was so bad - half the time he spoke another language no-one knew. Secondly we were told we had a professional guide - well, Kid graded people, hit people, yelled at people. He had a hissy fit and stormed off because he wanted me to take a photo of him and a tourist and i pressed the button on his camera 'too hard' - firstly we were up in Jungrfau and my fingers were frozen, and it was a light touch, secondly its not my fault he was not smiling. Also, he slept for half the tour!!!!! check out the photo.. we got no knowledge of anything other than the fact that a james bond film was made up there and that in Switzerland they speak 4 languages. He repeated these facts only abut 4 times, but told us nothing about anything. If someone slept on the job and i was their boss, i would fire them. Absolutely useless as a tour guide. I would recommend paying extra and doing yourself so you don't have to deal with Kid.

Place is very nice but worst experience with 'Hans Meier Tourist' Guide was worst and not at all kind. he doesn't know how to talk with customers. very rude person. English was very poor. Bus driver was also very rude person. Total lost of money. I will say, don't travel with 'Hans Meier Tourist'
