Was looking forward to this one but ..The dinner was average and did not include any drinks even water. The music was monotonous and the dancer was average._br/_ The best thing about this was the cruise up and down the Nile seeing the city lights for one and a half hours.

a nice quiet dinner cruise. clean boat, holds about 150 people. buffet meal, all drinks, including water are extra. entertainment was quite good with singers, a twirler and a belly dancer- family entertainment. docks in front of the Marriott in Zamalek. approx 2 hours long.

However drinks were very expensive and we were less than impressed by the driver asking us for a tip when he drove us there and back, hardly spoke to us as he was speaking to his mate the whole time and he had his dinner and enjoyed the entertainment on the cruise just the same as we did!

The food was delicious and the show amazing. I do wish there were more dessert options though or that the included option be something more people would like/ not be allergic to. Also wish i'd known drinks were not included, but it was very beautiful and an overall wonderful experience.

The dinner cruise overall was wonderful! The cruise ship was beautiful, inside-out, and it has a nice atmosphere. The food was excellent and we had so much fun with the entertainment, especially whirling dervishes. We were picked up from hotel, also showed to our table and introduced to our waiter for the night by our guide. I would do it again and recommend for others to check it out if time permits.

Great time with my daughters and prompt pick up and drop off. Nice guide. Great food and entertainment. If you have younger kids do the early cruise. We did and still got back to our hotel later than I would have liked, but worth it all in all.

We thoroughly enjoyed this Cruise! The food was very good, the entertainment was a lot of fun - the dancers are very talented. We did wish though that it had been about an hour longer. That would have allowed a more leisurely dinner and more pre-entertainment time for strolling the deck and dancing. We really had hoped to have the romance of some time on the dance floor with our hard learned ballroom dances and salsa. We need to make a special note that Viator's service was wonderful on all 5 tours we took in Egypt - we did not expect the, don't know what you call them, arrangements agents - forgot one's name (do check for that and tell him how appreciated we was) but the other was Fadi - who came to us in person to check out exactly what arrangements we wanted as we had flexibility with private tours, were there to introduce us to our guides and drivers, and in the case of the cruise Fadi took us to and from the boat himself with his driver! Overall, the cruise was great! The set menu was surprisingly good and the entertainment was breath-taking. I can't say enough about the belly-dancer and whirling dervish. They were worth the price of admission alone. My flight into Cairo arrived later than expected and I would've missed the 7:00 p.m. seating. Luckily, a friend was able to contact the travel company in Egypt to arrange for me to enjoy the late dinner. Service was a bit slow and I found that the waiters were more attentive to the large groups as opposed to the smaller tables at the periphery of the dining room. My only complaint was the tour guide, Taha, from South Sinai Travel. I didn't mind the fact that I was picked up 2 hours before my scheduled dinner and ended up waiting over an hour at the riverside dock. But I did mind that Taha thought he was doing me a favor by suggesting I tip my guide the following day "at least $100 US." He made it a point to say he was referring to US currency. I also found it unprofessional of Taha to ask me for the use my cell phone after he had forgotten his in the tour van. That call cost me about $10. Then after he showed me to the dock and handed me my ticket, he said it was time for him to leave. He said that I would not see him again which was code-speak for "Tip, please." Afterwards, he said that I should just stand outside on the street by the entrance and the driver would find me. I didn't feel that safe doing it, but the driver did manage to find me in the post-cruise chaos.

This was very enjoyable, except for the fact that only half of the time was the boat actually moving. They waited until we were done eating before we started cruising the nile so we didn't get very far before we had to turn around and go back. That was disappointing. Also the food was pretty tasteless. But the entertainment was excellent.

This was pretty fun. A nice dinner cruise down the Nile. The food was pretty good, and the salad bar was excellent. The show was entertaining. Our particular cruise was a little distracting as it was surrounded by police boats and had numerous security personnel, as there was a Kenyan dignitary on board with a huge entourage.

prompt pickup having received a note the night before advising of pickup time. Don't be too worried about the time it takes to get to the boat over an hour in the cairo traffic this is normal for cairo. had booked A La Carte but the only part of the menu that was A La Carte was the main course and desert. If you want an A La Carte starter, you have to pay for it. As usual, drinks are extra. Service on board was good and timely. Onboard entertainment was as expected and the two hours were over before you knew it. The problem was that that rep who was with us from the transport company, couldn't contact our return transport and neither could his manager, so after a 30 minute wait, our rep flagged down a taxi to take us back to the hotel. We felt very embarrassed for him, and annoyed that the service we had paid for, for a birthday, did not match what we had been sold.

The boat was very nice, possibly the best boat on the Nile dinner cruise circuit. The food was 510 and the drinks were ridiculously expensive. We're talking 22 for a Rum and Coke in a tiny glass. The entertainment was a mix. The opening singer was very Vegas-like, singing USA lounge songs which I didn't find culturally illuminating. The Whirling Dervish and Belly Dancer were 810. The Whirling Dervish went through the audience for pictures, but the Belly Dancer didn't.

We were initially reluctanct to book this cruise because we thought it was quite expensive. However we soon found out in Egypt that there are many Nile cruises and this is acutally one of the best, and was one of the best meals we had during our stay. Downside is our intial time got cancelled and we were sent an email to inform us whilst we already in Egypt! Obviously no one checks their emails on holiday. Luckily we had our contact mobile phone and our Egyptian contact informed us by text. Make sure you provide a contact number that will be reachable while you are in Egypt.

The pick up and trip was fabulous. The driver was great, but the guide did not show up until departure of the boat and was not coordinated in our return. The driver, Rami, took excellent care of us, however, and the trip was very enjoyable!
