Great trip but cold, try to go during warm weather. The crew is fantastic and works hard to find dolphins and tell you where to look.

Dolphin Cruise was awesome. We were fortunate enough to have a beautiful morning. The cruise operators were very thorough and provided ample information. We saw quite a few pods of dolphins and when we didn't see any, just the boat ride was very enjoyable. I am glad we didn't opt for the dolphin swim as I do believe you see more from the boat rather than in the water. The whole experience was exactly as advertised and I really did appreciate the reviews I had read on Trip Adviser before I booked.

Great little cruise, hard to see the dolphins sometimes but great experience.

The tour was effective in that they did get out to the dolphins and interacted with them. The operators handled the experience in a way that was respectful to the animals which I feel is crucial for this type of tour. _br/_ I do have reservations about the boat, though. It is basically a sailing catamaran with no modifications for a large number of tourists. we had to move bow to stern and back so the pilot could see and it was difficult to suit up with really very little room for each person. There was no place to secure personal items and make sure to bring water and sun protection._br/_ Again, you get to see the dolphins, but there is not much concession to comfort.

Great experience. Optional Dolphin swim not recommended, because you are not allowed to touch the dolphins and have to cling on a rope hanging at the rear of the boat. No free swimming allowed

We just did the cruise without the swim. Turned out to be perfect weather and saw lots of dolphins. The crew members were great - good sense of humour and lots of knowledge about dolphins. Highly recommended.

Having done the dolphin cruise at Akaroa, New Zealand, this cruise was quite disappointing.

It was good but for travellers who plan to swim with the dolphin need to be really good swimmers else there is every chance that you would enter water(choppy) many times and end up seeing nothing, For travellers who do not plan to enter the water, you will definitely get to see a lot of dolphins.

Amazing experience! Definitely worth doing. I would even do it again. The only let down was that people swimming would sometimes miss great views from on the boat. I would recommend people to do a bit of both for the best experience. The skipper was fantastic - very enthusiastic and helpful.

I enjoyed this trip very much, although it was quite hard holding on to the rope whilst in the water and also trying to see the dolphins. The view of the dolphins was actually better from on board the boat.

Had a great morning with Temptations Catamaran - saw dolphins. Nice morning out on the water - and the crew tried hard to give those in the water for the dolphin swim a great experience. We stayed on board and saw them up close. Thanks everyone for a great day! from Scott and Christine

I had a great time on this trip and saw a number of dolphins in their natural habitat. The operator prides itself on not being invasive and allows the dolphins to come to the boat rather than chasing after them. I went with the dolphin "swim" option and am happy that I did as you obviously get closer to the action. Be advised that you don't actually swim with the creatures but instead hold onto a rope off the back of the boat and watch as the dolphins swim by; this is far from clear in the Viator tour description but wasn't a surprise as I'd looked into this cruise before purchasing.

The dolphin excursion was fantastic. The dolphins were so close to the boat it was amazing. The actual swimming with the dolphin I found to be difficult. It was hard to hang onto the rope while being towed by the boat, listen to the crew tell you which side to look not then look for dolphins, and swim and breathe at the same time. The day we went the water was a bit chilly, so that was another factor for me. So I bailed and went back up on the boat to view them. That was the best part for me. The dolphins actually raced the boat on our way back and it was a large pod. Great experience! I definitely recommend this tour!
