Guides take groups of people to a couple of different bars in the Red Light District. Everyone in the tour receives a shot of very questionable liquor when arriving to the bars. You can meet a lot of people if you're a social butterfly.

This tour was not completely what I was expecting. My friend and I wanted to experience the pubs in the Amsterdam area and meet other travelers while doing so. Everyone was trashed by the time we were at the first bar and very sloppy. People from the bar were going around and pouring hard alcohol directly into peoples' mouths. We left after the getting our drink at the second bar. I attended another pub crawl in London, and this had a completely different feel to it.

This was a club crawl, not a pub crawl. The tour group consisted of 60 - 70 people who were led from one loud club to another. The organizers keep trying to pour shots down your throats right out of the bottle, and they do nothing to help the participants interact with one another. Waste of money.

It was a very good experience. The tour guide, Greg, was great. He made sure people didnt get lost, get in trouble, or whatever else. I was able to meet with other people on the tour and we hung out for the rest of our time in Amsterdam. Definitely worth a look.

If you are over 30 years old, maybe not the tour for you . The first drink at every venue is free think test tube shots here or bottles of liquor poured in your mouth... not what we anticipated. The drinks at the bar were fair prices so easy to grab your own thing and go along for the ride. It was a cool way to see different neighborhoods and see the nightlife in the city- really the only reason for the 3 stars.

Honestly we were a little disappointed with this tour. It was relatively inexpensive and every bar you were supposed to get a free drink so we figured it was worth it and we could see the Red Light District. Instead of giving you drinks they gave us shots that were very watered down. We went on the first 3 stops the second stop did not accept credit cards and did not take US dollars so we could not even get a drink here. After these bars we just left the tour and went out to explore on our own.

At one of the bars we went to the patio. The bouncer was extremley rude and slammed the door on us multiple times as we tried to exit. He then refused to let us back in because we took a photo of him. We asked our guide for help and she walked off saying she couldnt help.

The crawl was very fun and took us to pretty cool bars. the drinks were cheap and youo get beer and shots on the first spot. At the beginning the pubs were very close and didn't felt much like a crawl but then they took us to a little more distant ones. Only complain is that the group is so large and it was pretty easy getting lost with all the crow of amsterdam, but besides that I had a blast!!

We are true boozers and love to dance so although very middle agers, we were able to outlast the many 20 somethings we encountered on this crawl. If took us to 6 establishments within a five hour time frame and we had many many shots of this sweet vodka drink in between the many Heineken's For what else shall you drink when in Amsterdam??? I highly suggest it for students or young travelers on a budget!

Very poorly organised, we were among the first to arrive advertises unlimited vodka shots between 8.30 and 9 pm, did not receive any until next pub nearly two hours later. Staff were not friendly and made no attempt to make sure everyone was included or made to feel welcome. Shambles when leaving first venue as not sure when to leave or with which group. This pub crawl was the best way to meet fellow young travelers in a new city! We chose the Leidseplein Square crawl, and it was the best decision. All of the bars that we went to were on the small side, but that was fine as they split up the big group into smaller groups after the first bar. I don't think I had to buy one drink the whole night as you're given drink tokens for a free beer at each place, and the pub crawl promoters are always available for free shots poured directly into your mouth haha.

We were running late and couldn't find the street we were supposed to meet on. Leave yourself plenty of time or even check it out in advance. If you are not familiar with Amsterdam it can be quite confusing with all the streets and canals. We will just have to do it the next time.

I did not love this tour. Although it made it sound like you were able to have any drinks at the bar locations, the truth is, the drinks were chosen for you. Some places you were allowed wine and bear only. Some places had very sugary shots and not very strong. Most bars, along with the one drink offer, had other drinks for sale and discount. Overall, it was fun, because a lot of people did it, and gave you a flavor of some of the different bars. Since the tour begins at 8:30, the only people in the bars at that time were the people on the tours. Therefore, when the tour left, the bar was empty. Also, many of the places charged you to use the bathroom, which really annoyed me. If you are paying for drinks in a bar, you should be able to use the bathroom!
