Fantastic tour!! Our guide Kevin was knowledgeable and very friendly...gave us tons of interesting facts, history and fun stories. We saved the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center for the last day of our 3-week vacation in Alaska. It is a MUST-SEE!! We saw more animals in one day than the 3 weeks!

This was a great tour. The scenery was beautiful, the guide knowledgeable about the area and the wonderful animals we saw. I thought it was well worth the money. We got lots of great pictures of the animals. We got our only close-up bear experience during our Alaska trip at the Animal Refuge! I recommend this tour and would do it again.

Chloe, our guide, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about Alaska, Anchorage, and the wildlife as well as personable and professional too. The drive was beautiful and seeing the wildlife up close was spectacular. We decided to take this tour because seeing wildlife is so unpredictable and this was a sure way to see them. We watched the bears for a long time and would have loved to watch them even longer. It was awesome that I was able to support such a wonderful establishment.

This was an excellent tour, I enjoyed the animals at the Conservation Center, the tour guide was very knowledgable, and interested in what we had to say, and answered all our questions. I would definietly recommend this tour, and the price was awesome as well.

Fantastic tour!! The guide / driver, Rebecca, is amazing. She was very friendly and flexible. When some people on the coach noticed a pretty area, she added an impromptu stop so we could get out and take more pictures. She wasn't at all in a rush like most tours she asked if anyone had dinner plans or a preferred time to return to Anchorage, and then gave us extra time to enjoy the scenery. It is a stunning drive, and the wildlife park doesn't disappoint. It's great to see the conservation efforts in action. The animals have plenty of room and a semblance of normal life. Make sure you try to catch the bear feeding. This tour with Rebecca was the highlight of my time in Anchorage.

I loved the wildlife tour. The driver was knowledgeable and friendly. The scenery was magnificent, and seeing the animals up close was a highlight of my trip to Alaska. I would definitely recommend Salmon Berry Tours. When there was a ticketing mix-up, I called their toll free number, and the operator was able to correct the problem.

The drive is amazing! Great scenery along the way. The Wildlife Reserve is ok, not really worth the 99. This really isn't a tour and the reserve is not very big. You can see the whole thing in an hour or less depending on how fast you want to get through it. The bears were out and about when we went which was very cool and I finally saw a moose there. Admission to the reserve is only 12.50 so you are really paying for the van to get you there and back. If you can, I would suggest renting a car, seeing the reserve, and then do some hiking lots of great trails nearby. The guide was great, very friendly and provided some interesting commentary along the ride.

My husband and I were in Alaska for 9 days and traveled by rail from Anchorage to Fairbanks. Your “Wilderness Tour” was our last activity prior to flying back to our home state. Unfortunately both my husband and I were extremely disappointed. All of your information and brochures that we had been given or sent featured a picture of a wolf in its natural habitat. Since we had not seen any wolves we were certainly looking forward to that but not only were there no wolves, there was no mention or reference to them on the premises. Although there were some photographs and signage at the areas where the animals were penned, there was no one to talk about them or to answer questions. Your driver, other that an occasional comment or remarks, spent the majority of the drive, coming and going, interacting and conversing with the couple sitting directly behind her rather than involving or sharing information with others on the bus. Upon arrival, she simply dropped us off at the gift shop and told us when to return for the drive back. I can’t speak for others, but we did not see her during our “do it yourself tour”.
