This bus did not arrive so go on one of the other tour operators buses. When I tried calling the contact number for Viator it was not available!

This is the perfect way to see this incredible university and city in under 2 hours. There aren't that many places that seemed worth getting off at, but having the narrated commentary sure beat walking around. There's more to see from the bus than you might expect, and having the option to go punting is an added bonus!

Good overview of the city and commentary interesting. Most drivers friendly and offered extra information to help us - e.g. times of last buses. However, our first driver did not stop at one of the stops we wanted to alight at he claimed there was no one waiting at the stop...but he had stopped at all the other stops despite no one being there! He did drive back for us and let us get off, but it wasn't a very positive experience

I had an unpleasant experience with the driver. He challenged issuing tickets as we had bought it from viator. He insisted that we should have bought it from their company website and went on and on about his company wont get money in a quite patronising manner. This was a bad start to our trip. _br/_ Apart from this incident, the prices on viator are quite competitive and i had a pleasant experience with the purchase process on the website.

You should take this hop on hop off bus tour in Cambridge if you are for a day trip short on time and do not have own transport and are reaching Cambridge by Rail. Unlike Oxford, the railway station in Cambridge is a bit away from the city centre._br/_ The bus tour itself is good and comes with pre-recorded guide in english and some other languages._br/_ You may first get down on the nearest stop on river Cam to book a punting experience note you do get a li'l discount if you purchase tickets on the bus. Punting, IMHO, is the best experience on a day trip to Cambridge and should not be missed._br/_ Other attractions in Cambridge could be the Museum and the college/university campusses, obviously depending your interest, pace and time._br/_ cheers.

The tour information was excellent and the trip around Cambridge was fun and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was that our tickets stated that the buses stop running around 4.30pm, which was really early for the hop on hop off experience as we were doing a day trip. So do check!

This tour would be great if one had plenty of time. At least on the day we traveled the Hop-on/Hop off coach was always running late. Once I witnessed the drivers stopping for a leisurely conversation while behind schedule. We missed our 1545 train back to London but were fortune enough to catch the next one. Also finding the tour at the train station was quite difficult, so I suggest a sign or something. The tour itself was very interesting with everyone getting a headphone which jacks into the wall and available in number of languages. We took the tour primarily to get out to the Cambridge American cemetery and memorial. That cemetery is a can't miss for Americans who care about World War II. I can recommend this coach to anyone who might be staying in Cambridge and don't literally have a train to catch.

We enjoyed the bus in Cambridge. The stops were easy to find and the audio was clear. It was a very chilly day so the tour made it easier to deal with the weather.

A woinderful overview of Cambridge. Make the loop first and decide which things you would like to "Hop Off" and see the second time around. Lots of informative commentary. Definately priced right.

Construction near the train station made finding the bus stop difficult. Trip itself was VERY informative. The website I signed up from described numerous items related to Isaac Newton that would be seen on the tour. Problem was that there was not ONE mention of Newton during the entire tour. Honestly, that was my only reason for visiting Cambridge. As a general tour though, it was very good.
