What a great way to explore the areas outside of Capetown. I highly recommend this tour. The countryside is beautiful and the wineries were really good. Nice day!

Great to see the 3 winery areas. First stop was in Paarl with 6 wines and cheese. Franschook is a wonderful town and has great places to eat. The second winery served no cheese and the wines were so,so. The view was to die for however. The winery in Stellenbosch had good tasting wine but no view

Our tour guide was disorganized, got lost trying to pickup another party, and told us about historical facts after leaving the town/winery/view/etc. Very disappointed in the tour operator.

This was a terrific day with six other lovely people. We wanted some wine tastings, we did three, but wanted time in Stellenbosch and Franschoek too. This was the best solution. Our guide was knowledgable and very pleasant. We did three different type and size wineries which was a great sampling of what The Winelands have to offer. Highly recommend this tour to others. It didn't hurt that it was a gorgeous day to be in this already beautiful area.

Amazing tour guide David? - sorry I met soooo many people that day - knowledgeable, friendly, professional. Throughout the trip he explained the history as he described locations we were passing and visiting. He obviously loved his country and the people - and was so very proud to tell us of the progress that had been made over the last 20 years. The scenery was beautiful, the wine was delicious and varied and the entire trip is one I'll remember for many years to come. This is definitely a tour that you will enjoy.

The guide was very good, the wineries nice and diverse. We ate lunch at one winery which was very nice. My problem was the group was awful. We were 8 all together. 4 was a family who did not like wine or food and wanted to skip everything and go to table mountain. They even wanted to have lunch there and skip tastings! They complained, moaned, and pouted. It was miserable. The guide tried to keep us happy and did emphasize that it was a wine tour but as I was the only one interested in the wine part I felt bullied. Eventually I agreed to skip Franschhoek and the Paarl Valley and go to table mountain even though I had several more days in Cape Town and had just planned to go on my own one day. Really I did not want to be with these people any more. There was also an older couple that shouted that we did not need to walk around Stellenbosch town earlier so really all we did was the tastings then table mountain so really I only saw the half day wine tour or less. It was a nice day and good views at table mountain I especially enjoyed the part where we had to all wait while the family shopped at table mountain as it was their last day as they were on a whirlwind tour and did not allow themselves enough time in the city. It is unlikely future customers would be grouped with such selfish people as I have never been this unlucky before. One day I hope to return to the winelands and visit Franschhoek as that was my main interest in the full day tour. Next time I will just rent a car and stay there to make sure I see it!

Two of the wineries were outstanding, and while the view from the second one was stunning, the wine was terrible! Enjoyed our lunch stop and our guide.
