We had a very enjoyable day with Bee and our driver. I thought that the Golden Triangle was interesting, but the highlight was the visit to the Hill tribe. Despite the language barrier, we were invited into the village leaders house and several other villager homes. This was fascinating. Bee, our guide, was absolutely wonderful. When we started talking about Thai food and its preparation, she wanted to invite us to her mother's house for a cooking lesson! She was both knowledgeable and very personable. We also enjoyed the tour of Chiang Saen. It was a very informative and memorable day.

Nok took us to a wonderful local breakfast and did a nice job taking us to a tribal _br/_ town, the Golden Buddha, on a boat to Laos! where we got some amazing deals on _br/_ name brand purses!!, and to this wonderful hill top where we had a great view of the_br/_ Golden Triangle. She also took us shopping like we asked. In the morning she found a _br/_ Laundromat for us! She also took us to a nice buffet lunch.
