Worth doing once! Staff was very friendly, the experience was worth it once getting used to the wobbliness of the camels._br/_ Only con: finding the meeting point proved difficult

Something very different to do but the seats on the camels were very uncomfortable and there was quite a long wait before we couild set off as you are not actually given a time you just wait in line which can be quite hot in the sunshine.

Ok to say I did it. Pretty boring ride.

Fantastic experience! I came from Las Palmas and the indications for the camel ride venue were easy to follow. There are always many people queued up to get on their rides, so it's advisable to get there early - 10 or 11 am. I got there at 1130 and had to wait for 1 hour and a half to get on. Overall, highly recommended.

Quite an experience. The guides were very good. one criticism the footrest on the seats are supported with leather straps which kept pinching my legs and I ended up with tiny bruises on the back of my legs. Needs looking at.

I thought this camel ride malarky might be a bit cheesy and gimmicky but I really enjoyed it. Get to the place early 9:00 so that you don't have to come back later the same day. The ride through the dunes in the conservation area is peaceful and unusual. You don't get to see much in the way of wildlife but the dunes are lovely. The duration is about right ... it's not something that takes long to do but it's worth it nonetheless. The location is badly signed. Walking up from the direction of the beach it's on the right.

If you are going for the Camel ride in Maspalomas Dunes, it is worth getting there in the morning and not in the afternoon especially in high season. We arrived at 1pm and was told that there were 76 people in front of our group, therefore we were not guaranteed a ride for that day and was told to come back the following day at least by 9am. We arrived at 9.30am the following day and got to ride the camels at approximately12.30pm as there were quite a few people in front of us and the camels needed to rest after each ride. Despite the long wait, the ride was well worth it, riding gently along the sandy dunes on a beautiful hot summer's day accompanied with a cool breeze. It was a nice experience and I took away a lovely memory of photo of myself and my daughter seated on either side of the camel.
