Great way to quickly learn about Hobart, local geology, and natural history from displays atop Mt. Wellington, to see some great views, and to have some fun. The guide was very attentive and well informed.

While it was difficult to stop touring the wonderful city of Hobart, I'm so glad I opted for the bike ride from the top of Mt. Wellington. The pick-up spot was easy to find and, once loaded up, we started the long ride to the top. Commentary from both the driver and guide kept us informed about what we could expect with the bike ride as well as local history/information._br/_ The views at the top are stunning and we had a little time to walk around a bit and take photos and explore. The bike trip was effortless...all downhill except for a few slight uphill spots but never even had to shift gears. The on-road sections were smooth riding but a little unnerving because we shared the curvy road with cars although traffic was light. The off-road section while bumpy, was calmer and slower. We were never pressed to hurry and the guide always reminded us to take it at our own pace. VERY enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend it!

A great way to get to the top of Mt Wellington and ride back down as fast as a car without any effort. A few fire tracks and city street riding to add to the pleasure.

This was a great experience. We were fortunate in that it was perfect cycling weather and there was not one cloud to obscure the views of Hobart and surrounding landscapes from the top of Mt. Wellington.

The trip was wonderful - a speedy descent of Mt Wellington - part road, part dirt track top half pretty fast/steep but easily achieved on the well maintained mountain bikes provided by someone with moderate cycling skills. Wonderful views and a great way to understand the layout of Hobart. The leader was a lot of fun and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great excursion, lots of fun! The only thing I would change is the amount of time you have at the summit. When you get to the summit you have only about 10-15 minutes for a restroom break long lines and to take in the sites. The view from the summit and the scenery warrant more time. I would say 1 hour for site seeing, restroom stop and getting geared up for the ride.

Of course, I was extremely lucky. We had the most beautiful day imaginable, but I loved the tour. Our tour guide and driver were both friendly and knowledgeable. They met the group right on time at the appointed location and drove us to the top of Mt. Willington. They were very careful with fittings and the equipment was in excellent condition. I can ride a bike, but do not ride regularly. The ride down however was thrilling, but easy and those of us who were slower never felt like we were keeping the group back. They just waited for us periodically. It was impossible to get lost. The scenery was spectacular and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I even enjoyed the last couple of miles when we had to peddle threw Hobart and along the harbor. I guess I wasn't expecting that. I would recommend it to anyone with a sense of adventure and some bicycle skills.

It took me a while to get a hang of the bike. But once I did it, it was thrilling to decent Mount Wellington with these guys. Very nice organised.

This tour was excellent, although bikes probably needed to be checked for safety before they left. ONe of my group is a professional cyclist and the 2 bikes they were using had faulty brakes_br/_ Maybe just a better maintenance, but tour and ride and guide excellent

This was a great way to see Hobart from the top of the mountain and a fun ride down. Staff was really friendly and tried to accommodate us going all the way to the top since there were recent road closings due to icing on the road. Overall a great experience!

Great fun, and catered for those of us who were a bit nervous and those who were confident participants. Good quality bikes and top notch guides. Rug up as its cold at the top.

I was a bit worried about doing such a big downhill ride, but the guide and bus driver were great. It was very well run so that there was no pressure to go faster than you wanted to go and the more confident/adventurous people got the chance to go as fast as they liked and do the off road riding. The mountain was amazing - cold, rainy and foggy at the top but clearing up as the ride progressed. The bikes and gear were well maintained. I really enjoyed the afternoon.

This was super fun, and id say a must do if you and #39;re visiting Hobart. The instructors were great and broke the descend down for us so we knew what to expect along the way down the mountain.

Overall a good experience and descent with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The pickup point, however, was two blocks away and not at the indicated Elizabeth St. wharf indicated on the confirmation notice. Please update this information for future travelers.

The people running the tour where ok, but it rained the whole time and was cold. We got soaked before we left the top of the mountain and couldn't see a thing. It was cloudy and very poor visiability. They should have canceled the trip. My husband and I where so wet and cold we couldn't finish the ride and rode down in the van.
