just great - if you have made the effort to go to Vegas, you should complete the trip with this. For some reason the early morning trip is cheaper, but the light is great and if you have come from UK you will be awake anyway.

Very disappointed, up at 4.30am to enjoy the sunrise trip, arrived via limo over an hour early for flight, not a cup of coffee in sight! Loaded everyone onto helicopter but had motor issues so unloaded everyone for a half hour wait, sunrise, what sunrise? Don't bother getting up early, it isn't worth the loss of sleep! Also don't sit on left hand side of chopper, absolutely no view of Hoover Dam as only seen from right hand seats, very expensive to be this disappointing, sigh.

Astonishing trip! Worth getting up early and getting out there. Great views of the canyon, no bad seats on the helicopter, did a brief flyover of the city which was a bonus. Stopped at a beautiful spot for a break and lovely basket of goodies to enjoy. Would definitely recommend doing this trip at least once. The natural beauty of the canyon is beyond words and makes one realize the power of nature.

For the cost the whole trip was overrated. The pilot didn't hover or hardly slowed Dow near the Hoover Dam so as we were on the wrong side we missed it !!! You hardly spend any time over the canyon and when they say that you go down for your champagne breakfast Sparking wine and a couple of snacks !!! you're virtually just below the top. Overall disappointing and way overrated. Shame really after going all that way. I would not recommend it.

We were all a little nervous about flying in a helicopter but our pilot, Nate, was excellent and put our minds at rest. It was so much smoother than we had anticipated and the views were just amazing. The music and commentary on the trip were excellent and informative about the history and nature of the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon. Flying into the Canyon and landing on a small bluff was an incredible experience and the picnic was nicely presented and well organised. All together an trip of a lifetime. So glad we did it.

I bought this for my husband as a wedding gift. It was perfect. Originally, I was nervous because i am scared of flying at get motion sickness- being nervous was a waste of time because I did not get sick at all and felt very safe. Our pilot/guide was very knowledgeable. The views were amazing. Lunch and champaign were a perfect. Oh and getting picked-up and dropped off by a limo was a special bonus.

The service was flawless from confirmation to drop-off, and the experience is amazing. Highly recommendable._br/_ However, there are two things that definitely I didn't like:_br/_ -months after the reservation and with the rest of the trips sold-out, I was requested a surcharge of 49 per person because of fuelncosts or whatever. Sorry to be blunt but in my language this is called blackmail or something quite similar._br/_ -because of my personal reasons including the one listed above, I decided not to tip the limo driver, and I was chased by him. Unpleasant.

Wonderful flight out from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. So much to see and the commentary was just enough, not too much. The stop at the canyon was breathtaking, a fantastic spot. Lunch was almost incidental, it's the view you go for. For our flight they had to put us in a smaller helicopter due to not having enough of the bigger ones, it was a squeeze and rather uncomfortable, however they were very apologetic about it and we were compensated immediately. It didn't detract from the experience. I would highly recommend the trip, the lost star is purely because of the squashed feeling during flying.

What an amazing morning _br/_ To start we were picked up in a limousine and driven to the airport _br/_ After a short briefing we all 6 of us were told to take our seats and away we went_br/_ It was like a scene from apocalypse now with 14 helicopters taking off 1 after the other _br/_ Our pilot, Fred was very informative and had a great sense of humor _br/_ He gave us some wonderful insight as to how things came to be as well as all about the Hoover dam and its construction _br/_ Then the Canyon. All I can say is WOW _br/_ What a wonderful sight.Fred took us along the canyon and below the rim where we landed_br/_ We had a bit of a look around and a light champagne brunch_br/_ On reboardiing Fred had us change seats so we moved from the back to the front _br/_ This was an even more amazing view_br/_ After a short stop to refuel we returned to Vegas where we were given a trip down the old then the new Vegas Strips_br/_ Sadly this was the last bit of the flight and we were back to the airport _br/_ What an amazing experience made even more memorable by Fred _br/_ Anyone who goes to Vegas should try to fit this in_br/_ Many thanks to Sundance helicopters and an even bigger thanks to Fred_br/_ It was truly an amazing experience

Spent a long time waiting for the tour at the airfield. Lunch at Grand Canyon was not plentiful or of a great selection. Pilot removed picnic baskets and drinks before people in my party were finished as we needed to get back to Las Vegas according to him -Time at Grand Canyon felt rushed and inadequate to enjoy the experience - my friend and I were not overly impressed

The Grand Canyon was spectacular as ever, although, this was NOT a great chopper experience. When boarding the aircraft the pilot instructed we would be sitting in the back seats for the whole journey and all other passengers were provided the opportunity to ride Up front no explanation on how this selection process was applied. The Sundance landing site in the canyon is quiet far away from the river, the Maverick landing site is much better. We were one of the final choppers to land approx 9-10 which gave us very little time in the canyon. We were rushed to take photos and weren't able to finish our meal provided. I did this same tour with Maverick last year and it was far superior. Everyone rotates through the front seats, better landing site, longer time in the canyon and no anxious rushing.. They both operate very nice EC-130 helicopters. I hope this helps your choice on which operator to use for this specific tour.

The whole experience was just fabulous and excellent value for money. From the limo pick up from our Hotel The Wynn, bang on time, to the reception at the airport by Sundance and their very helpful, knowledgeable staff. The whole day was wonderfully organised including the all important safety briefing. The pilot Weston was superb putting any one that may have been a bit nervous quickly at ease with his professionalism. The inflight recorded audio was very informative, with the pilot adding further snippets of knowledge along the way. The Champagne picnic once at the West Rim was very good. the flight home via The Strip was superb. All in all, the day was just immense and I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit the Canyon. Marvellous, totally and utterly marvellous from minute one to the end. The online booking system, instant confirmation and pre 24 hour confirmation of booking details were also very informative and simplistic. Book and Go!!!!!
