Take off from Las Vegas on a magical sunset helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon. You'll enjoy a 45-minute helicopter flight each way, land at the Grand Canyon for a champagne picnic while you watch the sun start it's descent behind the walls of the canyon, then fly low over the famous neon-lit Las Vegas Strip on your return.
After limousine pick-up from your Las Vegas hotel, you will be taken to board your helicopter. You will fly by Lake Las Vegas, Lake Mead and Hoover Dam as your helicopter flies to the West Rim. During your flight, headphones provide a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds. The flight between Las Vegas and Grand Canyon West Rim is approximately 45 minutes each way.
Landing on Hualapai Indian land for a champagne picnic, you can admire the ever-changing colors of the canyon walls in the glow of twilight. Your pilot/guide will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the area or your helicopter flight as you watch the sun start to set over the horizon.
Your Sunset Helicopter Tour concludes with a low-level flight over the west side of the famous Las Vegas Strip. Flying from the Stratosphere Hotel to New York-New York, you will have a great view over the extravagant casinos and hotels of Vegas lit up for the night. On landing your limousine will be waiting to return you to your hotel.
There is a maximum capacity of 6 people per helicopter plus your pilot.

I cant describe how beautiful this ride was! Amazing tour inside the Grand Canyon and the return at sunset time was an amazing and different experience! Kids loved it! Our pilot, Cade , really cool guy from Utah showed the best of the area and the soundtrack was pur rock! Tottaly recommended! Very good investment to all the family!

This was a gift to my best friend for her birthday and of course, I joined along for the ride. It was fun, and the pilot was informative and entertaining. We were so busy taking photos at the landing that we had to rush through the picnic but the sunset was just perfect. This was very memorable and would highly recommend.

Have been to the Grand Canyon before, but simply drove from Las Vegas. That was nothing compared to the adventure of flying above it in a helicopter! Was absolutely remarkeable and probably the best thing I did in my trip to the states. Cannnot recommend enough, just pay the money and do it, you will not regret it!

This was one of the highlights of our Las Vegas trip. The ride was particularly special for us as our group was the first to go after a rare rain storm had passed through the area. The sunset landscape with the thunderheads and lightning in the background was spectacular.

Our tour was unable to be completed due to weather, but Sundance Helicopter and Viator acted quickly to remedy this by extending a full refund for myself and my son's tour cost. This was despite the tour company's best efforts to fly to the Grand Canyon, where we actually landed. We could not complete our time in the canyon and had to return early. But I was impressed with the pilot's professionalism and both Sundance and Viator quick processing of the refund. This was my second time booking through Viator, and I recommend their service highly.

Amazing trip. Limo picked us up exactly on-time from the hotel and delivered us smoothly to the airport. Check-in was quick and efficient, very pleasant staff. The helicopter trip itself was awesome, stunning scenery and our pilot Sam gave us interesting commentary throughout the whole journey. Even though it was a very windy day, the whole ride was smooth and comfortable. Arriving back in Vegas with the strip lit up is truly a sight to behold. Would recommend this to everyone, it will be the highlight of any Vegas vacation. If I had to find a negative, it would be that the limo organisation for the return transport to your hotel is a little messy, but this is really a small point considering the overall tour.

Absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommend this tour. Nice new looking high tech helicopters and good reception / check-in area gives you a feeling that safety is taken seriously. We had a great pilot who chatted to us in the air through the headphones and occasional recorded narration was also interesting. Some great pieces of music on take-off and landing added to the emotion but I will not spoil the surprise by telling you too much here - Nice little champagne toast and sandwich based picnic in the Canyon. We had plenty of time for questions and pictures before heading back for a sunset flight over the Vegas strip. Awesome! Not cheap, but we thought was worth every penny! Thanks Sundance helicopters!

I cant tell you how amazing the entire experience was. They picked us up in a limo - we were the first pick up so we picked up 3 other couples. Then we arrived at the heliport, and they were well organized there. They put us in our groups and they explained everything. then we boarded and flew out. We are so happy that we paid extra to land in the canyon and to go at sunset - though the food was truly picnic food and not my style. The colors of the sunset splashing on the canyon walls was truly breathtaking and our pilot was so good at giving us the history that I have to say this is a must do tour - and the flyby of downtown Vegas at dusk? Worth it!

This was a fantastic tour, a definite highlight of our jam-packed trip around America. We had no hassle with our limo pick up from our hotel and were quickly at the heli-port. There was a bit of hanging around and a few last minute helicopter switches but not too much of an issue.

Our Sunset trip out to the Grand Canyon was an absolute BLAST. Our Pilot Esther was fantastic and gave a first class commentary on the highlights below. The trip was beyond all expectations and anyone wanting to see this wonderful sight MUST go out there in a Helicopter. We were a little worried when the limo hadn't arrived 15 minutes after the pickup time, but felt a lot better when it did spent so much money on it!!. He took us to the airport where we met the pilot who would be taking us up. On the flight there we sat in the back of the helicopter and used every opportunity to take photos of everything we could see! When we landed in the Grand Canyon the pilot gave us an opportunity to go take photos while he set up the picnic. He served us champagne and sat with us and we all asked him questions about the helicopter/tour. On the flight back we were lucky enough to sit up front next to the pilot as we flew out of the Grand Canyon while the sun was setting. When we approached Las Vegas we went low over old downtown and then the strip as the sun went down. A truly amazing experience, once in a lifetime! Thank you.
