On a positive note, the mosque was an amazing architectural masterpiece, and I'm happy I was able to see it. Viator contracted with a company called Julia Tours. We were packed into a full coach with Spanish, German, Italian, and French speakers. The little information we got on the way to Cordoba had to be repeated in all 5 languages, so there was not much. After an absurdly long bathroom/coffee break at a rest area, we drove to the city. Although there were probably only 10 English speakers on our bus, Julia tours combined us with several other busses so we had at least 40 people in our group with one tour guide. We did have earphones. Because there were so many other busses in town, the tours went through the mosque one right after the other in a maze-like coordinated pattern. It was nearly impossible to follow our guide through the crowd, which was as thick as a rock concert. Several people in our group started to panic and had to leave the building. We were led through the city after the mosque visit, which was also somewhat stressful because of our way-too-large group. _br/_ I would recommend Cordoba, but not with this tour!_br/_ ..

We would like to thank your tour leader Rafael regret we missed his surname for a beautiful tour of the astonishing architecture of the mosque and the city. It was a great experience and at the same time it was very educational since we were taken around the old Jewish quarters. For those who love history and architecture, Cordoba is the city not to miss. Unfortunately time was not in our favour, as we would have loved to stay there for a few days to explore further. Well done and thank you Rafael.

The bus trip itself involved 40 , then a stop, followed by 1.5 hours. The bus-guide was very helpful in giving ideas for food and restaurants. The scenery along the way is interesting. The guided tour through the Mosque/church is truly excellent, much better than just wandering on one's own. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The pace was steady but comfortable, with accommodations for a bathroom break. After that wonderful tour, the guide then led us through the very narrow streets of the old Jewish Quarter as well as the old city itself. Again, I would not want to try this on my own as it is very confusing. Quite delightful. We had time for a tasty lunch in the old city before boarding the bus for the return trip. Don't miss the ancient Roman bridge. On the whole, an excellent tour, well managed and well worth the money.

If you are pressed for time and want to see the Mosque Cathedral of Cordoba in an organised guided tour from Málaga, this might be for you. Our guide in Cordoba (different from the Coach trip guide) was excellent and very engaging. But we needed more free time in Cordoba.

This trip was overall fantastic! Everything was fun and enjoyable. We definitely appreciate that they were able to pick us up from the resort and drop us off instead of us taking a taxi to the city. _br/_ The only suggestion is more time needed to shop and enjoy the outskirts of the cathedral.

The guide walked so fast as soon as we got off the bus that everyone got confused and seemed lost for a while. It was unfair on people who were not as fit as him or who had walking sticks.

Not a good tour 20 mins into the tour and we had a bus break for 20 mins waste of time. The guided tour through the jewish quarter and catherdral comprised of 4 different bus tour groups over 50 people felt like i was in a cattle yard better to avoid this tour and do it on your own !,

The bus came late and apparently there was a Julia representative waiting with us at the bus stop. She could've identified herself so that we won't be as worried if we've missed the bus. Unnecessary 20 minutes toilet stop at the highway both on the way to Cordoba and on the way back to Malaga, and we're not allowed to stay on the bus. The tour guide, Rafael, was not very helpful. He had to repeat all instruction in three different languages, and how annoying is that. We had to wait again once we've arrived in Cordoba for our local tour. The local tour was amazing, very informative. But I think it was not worth the money I paid for the service I get. This trip basically 'transfer' me from Malaga to Cordoba, direct me to the local guide, and 'transfer' me back to Malaga, which I could've done so at a cheaper price with lesser fuss. I've joined lots of day trips before and this is by far the worst.

Beautiful place! We had an excellent local guide who taught at the local University. Wonderful tour through the Mosque Cathedral and the local old village with so much information. Just an aside, do not take the lunch option offered by the viator guide, not very good.

Great experience and great guide. The Cathedral was great to see and you can see the tension with the Muslims, as I counted 16 armed guards with machine guns at the 4 entrances. Beautiful Cathedral.

Great trip, just remember to bring a map of the old city since the tour operator/guide doesn not have them and it is easier for your free time to know the layout of the streets.

Four of us took this tour as a day trip from Malaga which took about 2.5 hours each way to get to Córdoba. We were added as a part of an existing multi-day tour and our guide really didn't do much, but relied on a great local guide Maria in the fantastic mosque cathedral in Córdoba. The mosque is over 23,000 meters and is beautiful and a must see. We then took a really nice walking tour of the old city. We then had about an hour to try local cuisine and do some shopping. We visited the local food court which consisted of 6 different local restaurants. We had Moroccan cuisine that was fantastic. It would have been nice to have had more time to shop at the end, otherwise this was a great look at Córdoba.

Cordoba is lovely with many interesting sites. However this trip by Viator could be better. The driver Diego is excellent as is Pedro the guide. The coach on our trip actually started at Estepona . The pick up in Malaga was punctual and well organised. However 25 minutes out of Malaga there was an half hour break for the driver to have a legally required break at an over crowded cafe. The coach was conveniently parked in Cordoba close to the old town sites. There was wasted time whilst the English speaking tour was organised. The tour of the Mesquita and Jewish quarter was whistle stop, but well informed. Our trip was on a Thursday and this is the day when all the tour companies descend on Cordoba. Why? This leads to overcrowding in the old town._br/_ Do not purchase the 19 euros meal offered by the tour rep on the Coach. What he described was not what was supplied. Home cooked food and chilled wine turned out to be tourist rubbish with warm white wine. The worst meal we had all week. There was a 20 minute break on the way back. If I went to Cordoba again I would catch the Alsa bus from Malaga and buy my own ticket to the Mesquita.
