Unfortunately the Thursday night we did the cruise the tide was high and we basically spent the night going round and round in circles as we could not go under the bridge. The food is only average. The selection of beer and wine is very limited. A couple of the staff were brilliant. The view of the city skyline at night is awesome. We were very fortunate to meet another couple from Victoria who were great company and this made our evening for us. Is it value for money - No, it wasn't this night, I would rather go to one of the restaurants and admire the skyline from there. Comments written by Jack Jones.

The food was quite good but the trip on the river was very disappointing. After we boarded we were told that there was work on a bridge in one direction and the river, which is tidal, was high that night so we would have a limited river experience as we would be unable to go under the next bridge in the other direction. Limited was no exaggeration, as we travelled up and down the same stretch of water with a 20 minute, very slow journey, each way. As we were a party of 3 we were in the middle of the vessel which meant restricted views when sitting at our table. All in all not our favourite Melbourne experience.

This is truly highly recommended. The atmosphere on this river boat cruise was second to none. The food was amazing and the drinks kept flowing. What was also good was you didn't have to remain sitted you could move around.

excellent trip - went slowly up river - shame it rained a bit - as it meant less opportunity to go out o deck._br/_ Food was of a high standard. Staff friendly and efficient. Not slow in pouring the included wine- mine was fizz._br/_ Overall there was quite a bit of food so a healthy appetite is needed._br/_ I would definitely recommend this trip and meal. Melbourne by night form the river is lovely!!

Food and staff were excellent but boat was so hot, we were all packed in. The disappointing thing was not the boat but the river. It was filthy, rubbish floating everywhere, nothing much to look at just dirty bridges roads and graffiti. Compared to other city rivers in Our Australia holiday this one was disappointing.

Cruise was ok, couldn't see much with it being night. You couldn't go upstairs most of the time as they had to lower the roof to go under the bridges. The only other outside part was at the front where the smokers hung out. Food was average, tasted a bit packetmix. There were so many tables crammed in you could barely move around the boat. The highlight of the tour was coming back to Melbourne and seeing the city lights.

A beautiful cruise with great lights of the city and even fireworks! Food, service, and wines were all excellent. Definitely recommended as a nice quiet way to tour a portion of Melbourne.

Really great dinner. Crew and wait staff were good and pretty attentive. The city at night was really pretty, although some parts of the cruise aren't particularly noteworthy. But the dinner is worth it and it's nice chill evening, drinking, eating, and cruising along the river :
