Next, your captain will stop at a calm snorkeling spot. If you’re a beginner, you’ll easily learn how to use the snorkeling equipment, how to breathe through the snorkel and what safety measures to remember. The use of mask and fins is included, and you’ll receive a snorkel to borrow. Jump into the water with your professionally trained guide, and spend 30 to 45 minutes discovering the magical underwater world of Hawaiian marine life. You will see everything from brightly colored coral to schools of tropical fish.
After working up an appetite from snorkeling, sail back to Waianae Harbor as you feast on a buffet lunch, including hot dishes, salads, a gourmet sandwich bar, side dishes and desserts. Enjoy unlimited nonalcoholic drinks and two free alcoholic beverages (for those 21 and up).

This was one of the best snorkeling tours I have ever taken! I remember snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia a couple of years ago, but this was by far a much better experience! First off, the boat appeared to be new, super clean, and the crew was fantastic! They didn't spend too much time repeating over and over and over again the safety procedures of the tour--like many other companies do I'm sure due to liability issues. No, these guys went right on really quick just to brief us about what to do, what to expect, the do's and don't's, etc, so we had more time to actually enjoy the snorkeling experience, especially since everyone on the boat had done this before. The waters of the leeward coast were very calm and clear. We saw tons of different tropical fish as well as a few sea turtles. We also so dolphins and a whale in the distance--even though it wasn't whale season at all. After the snorkeling swim, the crew prepared a very delicious lunch with two alcoholic beverages included free of charge!. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience in a different part of Hawaii. All of my family enjoyed it very much. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

I guess it didn't occur to me and my traveling companion that a snorkeling cruise that included booze would be a kid-friendly activity, but apparently it is. So be prepared for that. There was a kid screaming the entire van ride to the marina, so the day didn't start out well. You only really get about half an hour to snorkel, so if you actually want to snorkel, just go to Hanauma Bay. You can snorkel as long as you want and you will see more interesting fish. The place we went on the cruise had very few fish, and yeah we saw one sea turtle, a couple of octopi, and sea urchins, but Hanauma Bay has the really amazingly colored fish, so that was definitely a better experience.

Well organized, friendly crew. About twenty of us on a large catamaran, didnt feel crowded. We saw a couple of turtles, a couple of pods of dolphins and lots of fish. Had a great time, and would definitely go thru Hawaii Nautical again for this or one of their other tours. The ONLY thing that they could have done better but again, we had a great time and this would be if I was really trying to come up with one bit of constructive feedback was remember that for those new to snorkeling, especially with small children, a little more time on the front end explaining putting on the mask or making sure the kids get fitted right would prevent any hold ups when getting folks into the water. This is by far one of the greatest experiences of the trip. Aside from the abundant natural beauty, I was so impressed by the attentiveness of the crew. There were staff in the water watching swimmers and I noted as well the deck hands carefully watching the snorkelers. I felt very safe. Oh! Did I mention the crew also helped snorkelers with underwater photography. I would recommend this trip and plan to return when I am back on Oahu.

Wonderful, knowledgable, and humorous gentlemen tour guides. Got us within a safe but respectable distance to see the pods of dolphins and sea turtles. Then we snorkeled the beautiful blue ocean, even getting close enough to see an octopus hanging out below. Coffee, muffins and fruit was served in the morning, and a lovely spread of pasta salads and sandwiches were offered in the afternoon. Drinks were available for purchase, but the guides took care of us to make sure we had a fantastic time! This is a great excursion! Would absolutely do it again!

Due to the weather winds we couldn't go north to their normal location but they were still able to get us over a reef that had lots of fish. This was a first time snorkel for my 65 year old mother whom was traveling with me and the crew took time to help her to make sure she felt comfortable with being in the water. Let her sit on steps and put face into water to see things as the undertow was too strong for her to stay near the boat. The crew was great and very friendly! Try the captains special drink but ask for less nutmeg.

Four words: not as described. Staff was attentive, informative and fabulous, but the trip was only 3-hours not 5-hours which is what I paid for. My idea of snorkeling is not in 40 feet of water staring at the bottom, it is being amongst the rocks and coral and sea life. This was disappointing. The dock the trip leaves from is not in the nicest area and where we had to sit to wait to board was in the same spot a large dumpster that was piled at least four feet above the top with smelly trash. We went to three different buildings at the pier before we found our tour, it wasn't well marked. If I was truly rating this honestly I would give it one star based on the things I have mentioned, but again, the staff was outstanding, the food was good, they were good hosts and nice people. I just have a problem when I believe something is not as described as was the case here.

A must do! Seals, dolphins, whales, and sea turtle. Snorkeling was fun in 30 feet of water you can easily see the bottom. Crew was fun and professional! Highly recommended!
