Grey Line Tours did not pick me up at airport as requested. They had too sub contract the pick up to and from hotel with with Luck Receptivo.. Luck Receptivo did an excellent job on getting me to me hotel and back o the airport. Never again will I book with Grey Line. I had to change hotels in Salvador for the first hotel was a wast. I checked myself into the Sheraton Da Bahia and got first class treatment with staff and a very nice room with no reservations. Go Sheraton Da Bahia!

On arrival - there was no sign showing "VIATOR" and no -one holding a sign with my name on it. It was very frustrating as hardly anyone speaks English in Salvador. I finally had ground staff ring the number on my transfer certificate and they found a company - which was NOT victor, which transferred us.

Ive booked airport transfer in Salvador. It was ok but very expensive. Once landed you probably could get it much cheaper. On the way back to The airport we were picked up over 3 hours ealier- it wasnt needed at all.

Our plane was 1 hour late arriving, it made no difference, the driver was waiting for us. We shared a taxi with another couple and headed directly to our hotel. _br/_
return trip was in a mini-bus, it arrived a few minutes early, but the trip to the airport was good. will certainly use Viator again

Negatives: Arrival "greeting" was late and found us only by accident ......... and unfortunately neither the driver nor reps had any idea where our lodging in Salvador was located, causing a delay of almost three hours before we finally arrived at our location after arrival at the airport and multiple phone calls. Note: Our lodging is one of the top-rated pousadas in Salvador - no private apartment or overnight guesthouse - so not sure why a problem came about.

Very happy with the overall service. The booking process was really easy and the drivers really friendly. Value for money is fantastic would have paid a lot more from the airport to Barra. My only gripe was the collection time on our return journey.I always give myself the 2-3hrs before check in and 45mins -1 hour travel time. Are flight departed at 12pm the collection time was at 10am we did have to run to check in on time! In retrospect I should have called and pushed for an eariler time. There were no other problems and would definately use again.
