Too many people on the boat...280 max...and it was beyond full, us 5 didn't have seats. The food was awful, cold...and I found hairs everywhere... definitely not ours. 2 of us almost threw up because of it. The pontoon where the boat docks = very gross...food everywhere and hair of course. I'm gagging writing this because I remember the feeling of food under my bbare feet because the floors were so gross on the Pontoon. $200 pp for an overcrowded trip to a dead part of the Reef. Honestly saw only a few types of fish. Fun swim, but the coral was dead there...not much life. The best part wasn't apart of the trip = the whales in the open water was great. Unfortunately they were very far away.

An amazing experience. Wonderful trip, loved snorkeling and the underwater boat tour.

We had a very nice day with the crew being very helpful, friendly and organised_br/_ The reef was a little disappointing and bland due mainly to global warming and overuse

Great experience, organised really well, lunch was nice with tea and coffee afterwards served with homemade muffins, well worth the money to see the reef, an experience like none other.

Everything is to be lived in this tour!!! The trip to the Great Reef Barrier, the discovery of the floating Harbour there, and snorkeling or scuba diving! You can buy a picture of you patting a huge fish, quite adopted by the guide underwater. Then, you get an amazing lunch all you can eat, with just anything to eat! During the trip, you can get free coffee or tea, along with cakes, in the morning, and in the afternoon, on the way back, a little goƻter. Great memory!

The day our group of four took this tour, the boat was absolutely full. The majority of the tour is on the boat to/from the water platform at the Reef. With so many of us, it was difficult to see much of the reef--unless one was scuba diving.

This trip is a must do. The staff were helpful and friendly and we had a great experience snorkelling and enjoying the fish life and enjoyed snorkelling with a turtle and a giant friendly groper fish. . Sadly, the reef we visited is looking very bleached and sad, but I think that is just due to the impact of global warming. It is ten years since I last visited the reef and the decline is evident.

It was good to see the reef but there were just too many people in the water, quite well organised and felt very safe.

This was a great experience. I loved the scuba diving and the lunch was really good. If you're an experienced scuba diver, I would recommend going on just a private day tour and not doing this. We were limited on time and I had beginner scuba divers with me.

If you have a need to see the Great Barrier Reef while at Whitsunday islands or Airlie Beach this is your option. Reefworld has some cool things to see/do like the partially submerged guided boat ride and underwater viewing. The snorkeling was ok. There were plenty of fish to see, and many types of coral however the coral was not very colorful and the water was cloudy. Lunch was pretty good on the boat. Downsides of the trip are: the boat ride to get there is long and the snorkeling feels crowded with people. If you're looking for good snorkeling, this trip will disappoint you. The weather was fantastic the day we went. I would imagine on a rainy day this would not be as enjoyable.

Good tour, but not great. I obviously had high hopes for the Great Barrier Reef...as I got scuba certified specifically for this trip. Basically, you drive 2.5 hours by boat out to enjoy scuba diving or snorkeling around the reef. The actual reef is beautiful from an aerial perspective, but I did expect to see more colors and far more fish on my couple scuba dives. Truly, a past trip to Thailand offered a lot more. Overall, cool to see....but I would definitely do things different the next time. I would fly to Cairns and embark on a 3-4 day excursion aboard a small vessel consisting of maybe 10-12 divers. This way, you really get to see the most astonishing part of the Great Barrier Reef and would do so without being aboard a Disney type attraction with hundreds probably over a thousand people when including the second boat docked to the other pontoon all scaring the wildlife away. Hope this helps!

Very good arrangement. Even there is a big group of people but everything we wish is there. Logistic very smooth. Friendly staffs and very good explanation on the carol and fishes. Diving is perfect and we see Green Tortoise!! The ship itself is very comfortable and fast.

Great experience. I'd recommend bringing more things to do, as the boat is very enclosed, and it's a long trip there and back. I brought nothing but my equipment to snorkel, and wish I knew the situation better.

The lunch buffet was bad. We paid additional price to dive and it was disappointed, water was not clear and coral reef was turning white. Will not join this company next time.

This was a five hour trip to nowhere. One of the boats engines failed before we reached the open sea and we then limped back to Airlie five hours later. 10000 miles flown from the UK to go nowhere! The boat is not luxurious - closer to a Sydney Harbour ferry and the catering is best described as 'ordinary'. We won't try this trip again even if we can make it back to Oz sometime in the future.
