Mdina is a beautiful city that takes you back into time. It was the original capital. You must walk into the city because tourist cars are not allowed. Delivery vehicles and private residence are only allowed into the city. The streets are cobblestone and very narrow. You can take a ride on a horse drawn carriage to give you the feel of the city. It is my favorite place on the island of Malta.

We were picked up at the Port on time. We had booked the excursion for the four of us. However we had two more friends who wanted to come along. The tour company accommodated us without any fuss. The van we were traveling in was very comfortable. The guide was very well versed with the historical facts and kept us informed at all the locations. He was especially good about the old city of Mdina. Malta has some great picturesque spots and we stopped and took in the beauty of the place. We returned to the ship on time. It was a very good experience.

Helenia along with our expert driver Kevin, provided a very special day for us. Helenia speaks excellent English and had prepared a well thought out and comprehensive tour. Her enthusiasm and love of the area really shines through.

Our tour guide Donna was excellent and enhanced our experience. There were six family members on our tour ranging from retired to 11 and everyone enjoyed it.

Excellent , knowledgeable guide, we did the half day tour but personally would have liked more time in Mdina , we had time constraints as we were on a cruise ship .
