A great tour. However, it would be better if the boat tour is immediately after/before the walking tour.

This was one of the best tours during our Italy trip. Francesca was a great tour guide - her pace was perfect. The boat tour was great - going on the Grand Canal as well as the smaller canals was a treat.

Great tour!! We were actually late to the meeting point and they were able to connect us to our group very easily! Our guides for both tours were perfect and very knowledgeable! Having the history explained while visiting these historic sites makes the experience so much better!

Our second day of jet lag and this was perfect to start at 2 pm. The guide was really energetic and friendly and her accent easy to understand as well as her knowledge extensive. The walk was a bit long but it helped us get our bearings on the passageways/streets/alleys that you should get lost on. We got an hour break before the boat ride so that allowed us to get something to eat and drink. The boat took us thru the canals and in the grand canal so we got a bit of everything.

The wife and I really enjoyed this tour particularly the boat tour which takes place in a taxi. Others have said its a small speedy boat but that and STANDING in the back of the boat is what made in fun for us. Highly recommended!

Venice is amazing! Our skip the line walking tour of St Marks was great. Our guide, Federica, was awesome. She knew so much history of the square and the Basilica. She was kind and funny too. The best thing about this tour was that Federica made us feel welcome! She said she appreciated us, which was so nice. We learned so much on the walking tour. This was a great experience!!_br/_ The boat tour was awesome as well. It was so beautiful out on the water. Our guide, Cristina was great and the boat driver was very good._br/_ This booking is a must do!!

Our tour guide, Ariana, was a local and was very knowledgeable about Venice. We enjoyed walking through the beautiful city however decided to skip the boat tour and head to Burano, Murano and Torcello due to the crowdedness of Venice. I realize now having been that this is an ongoing issue but we were able to enjoy the city in all its beauty, quietly, during the 2 evenings we were there. I highly recommend the tour.

We only had 1 day to tour Venice we were staying in Rome and were limited by the times of the high speed trains. The tour starts at St Mark's Square so it is a bit of a walk from the train station to this point. The tour guide was very informative. We were able to tour inside the Basilica di San Marco but wish a tour of the Doge's Palace was included looked interesting from the outside. After the walking tour, definitely stop and try an Aperol Spritz! Since we were on a time crunch to catch the train back to Rome, our boat tour was cut a little short. I wish we could have had the option to go on the earlier boat tour. The tour guide and driver of the boat were very accommodating and asked if we wanted to see the popular Grand canal portion or their recommendation to go around and see the smaller side canals / Northern part of the island where we could see the cemetery. We chose the latter option, and it was great! Because the boat tour ends up back at St. Mark's Square, they dropped us off near the train station so that we did not have to pay for a water taxi to go back.

Sorry for the late review. I only just saw I missed it - BRILLIANT! Not my mistake, but the tour - you get a great overview of Venice and the boat ride really allows you to see Venice from the water as opposed to all the walking on land you will do.

TWO PART REVIEW:_br/_ 0 star for tour. This was a ridiculous and tiring experience. We were sold a 3 hour tour which we thought meant 3 consistent hours. Nope. It was split throughout the day, morning and late afternoon. It was over crowded and we could not understand anything the tour guide said through the microphones. We left the tour early.

Friendly and informative tour guides made this a great, short tour. It was great to see the basilica, even though the skip the line part wasn't available at this time of year. The rest of the walking tour around the calles near saint Marco was interesting even though I was now a little familiar with the area. The boat tour was also great with another fab guide. I was under the impression, however, that we'd also travel into some of the side canals, and this do happen. It was also good to chat with some fellow travellers, which added to the fun of the day. A good tour.

I am going with Good here. The morning walking tour was about two hours. The guide was knowledgeable. I asked a few times about the boat ride portion of the tour and never got a good answer. I did not successfully connect with that, so I can't really say.

We only had one full day in Venice so were glad we signed up for this tour. For the walking tour, we enjoyed the commentary and dry humor of our guide Marco. He made history come alive while also spicing it up with interesting insights. The boat ride was also a lovely experience - I just wish we did not have the long break in between. I would suggest indicating the time of the boat ride during the tour offer, so those signing up can better manage their limited time in Venice.

I think skip the line is probably worth it. The crowds are huge and with a guide showing you around you don't get lost in the many lane ways and with explanations from the guide you get to walk away with at least some local historical info and understand the place a bit. As always one day is not enough in places like this.

Very informative and great way to see the city and understand the history and culture. The combination of a walking and canal tour is perfect. Our two guides were very good but you have to listen closely as sometimes the Italian accents get a little thick. Venice is an amazing place and I would recommend this tour that me and my family took. Bring comfortable shoes!
