we went to Warwick castle on Friday the 6th April for a nice day out. I booked online and thought 18.00 a ticket was a fair price for a day out. Well 18 pp was only the start. yes it was a nice day yes we got to see the castle in all its glory, but it still was the beginning of the season so not all the usual sights were available. If you wanted to go to see the dungeons that was an extra 9 pp and any activities were also extra and then to top it off it was 6 to park. I'm so glad I'm not a parent, a family of 4 would have cost a fortune considering the only reduction for a child is 3 difference. All in all if u have a big family, go somewhere where the activities are included as this seems a bit pricey for a walk about

This was the best day we had on our week long vacation.. We took the tube from London at Waterloo and then the train from Marlybone. It was a really nice ride, we enjoyed it very much. The walk to the castle is reasonable and pleasant. This place is amazing , and much of it is open to the public, including the topmost areas, with great views! Well worth the price and a well-spent day.
Absolutely brilliant day out , for both kids and adults alike. Well put together makes the history exciting for my five year old granddaughter. Was a bit expensive , I would suggest the parking should be included in the price as I felt 6 was exorbitant considering the entry fee. Would definitely recommend but I should have gone earlier as there is so much to see 4 hours wasn't long enough so will have to go again .

Great day out with the kids, absolutely loved it, a shame one of our kids were too young to get into the dungeon!! Fantastic archery show, trebuchet and bird show, loved it all.

This castle is great for kids!--- very educational especially about medieval times--- enjoyed the bird show, the trebuchet and the archery show the most. Kids got some archery lessons ( extra price when you get there). the princess and #39;s castle is for young girls maybe 2-6 years. Visitor has the best deal

We can just access the castle gate with the print ticket, I believe you can get access by showing your phone with the email ticket as well. Very quick and convenient, save lots of time queuing and it is cheaper.

It's good for children, but didn't have enough details of history for interested adults.

Our first visit to Warwick Castle was a definitely success. A big bonus was the fact it wasn't too busy so as well as a fun day for the family it wasn't at all stressful but quite relaxing. The grounds and castle were beautiful to say the least. the tours and shows very informative and enjoyable. The weather was also on our side and stayed dry :_br/_ I would most definitely return!

although the castle is lovely. once you pay the pricey entrance fee everything else if a further cost. 5 to fire 12 arrows/child, fighting similar. the only plus points were the bird display and the longbow demo outside the gate. otherwise i felt completely fleeced. the dungeon being an extra charge was the biggest ripoff. the display inside the castle didnt really inspire i would have preferred more history perhaps rooms at different times in the castle life. came away cold. will never go again.

Long walk. Very over-commercialized. Doesn't belong in same category as other Historical landmarks - this is a fairyland where the greatest fantasy is value.
