Our table on the cruise was in the coldest part of the boat. Other tables were freezing also. We begged to have the air turned off or reseat us. They couldn't seem to do that. After the dinner buffet which was very good, we walked to the other end of the boat and stood. A waitress there asked why we were there and after hearing out story, seated us at an empty table.

It was a wonderful voyage. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our server, Rateika was excellent, the DJ the best we've heard, food was good and well prepared. The entire crew was extremely friendly and engaged to our needs. The only drawback was the parking was not on-sight and having to wait for the shuttle and pay 20 didn't seem quite appropriate. Did not understand that it was as long as it was. Our cruise turned into a party drinking cruise, which is not what we were looking for.
The food was good. Just a boat ride. No landmarks were really visible.

This was the most horrible waste of money I have ever encountered. Terribly expensive, extremely poor quality and service. Even down to not having any toilet paper in the bathroom. Does not even rate one star. Do not waste your money on this cruise, finding something else, very painful to endure.

First of all, it wasn't on the pictured cruise ship, it was changed, without our knowledge to the Odyssey. This ship is one level and completely open with windows all above and around. It was an extremely hot day/evening and we baked inside the dining room area. Their air conditioning was non existent for that particular hot, sunny day. Service was very slow with our female server. She could not even open a bottle of wine for us without great difficulty. Our drink orders went ignored and we had to remind her over and over again. At times she would be gone for nearly half an hour before we saw her again. The appetizer portions were so incredibly small. We are allergic to shrimp and shrimp was one of the three appetizers that were automatically served to everyone. We could not request a change. The meal itself was alright. My wife ordered a berry dessert and while others received the same dessert with a separate bowl of fresh berries, my wife's order involved one small bowl with a small piece of cake and four berries. Service had many inconcsistencies. The elderly couple placed beside us argued and at times loudly, throughout the entire dinner cruise. The band was fantastic except their sound system was much too loud for the enclosed space. But not to have proper air conditioning is unacceptable. Also, this particular dining room requires immediate updates. The dated chairs and stained carpeting showed its age. The handicap bathroom was filthy. Water on the floor and the toilet was completely blocked with paper towels. The sink was covered in dripping soap droppings and the mirror required cleaning. Absolutely unacceptable. This handicap bathroom had been ignored for some days. Never again. The ship's staff informed us that we should be glad we are on the Odyssey because the other shipped was considered a hole because of all the wild dinner cruises due to only younger people taking over whenever they have a dinner cruise.

Cruise was upgraded to the Odessy - I would book on that cruise ship when I return as the place was total glass - sides and overhead - super. Live music was great - DJ type music later in the eveing and everyone got up to dance. Bar service was outstanding - service was great overall however, the food was not very good. We had Steak and Lobster - paid 25.00 for each as an upgrade. The steak was terrible - little seasoning made it very bland - no one ate it. Lobster was a half lobster - not very good - I would stick to the pre-paid items such as short ribs which were tastey actually and other choices. Desert was very good. Overall - we had a ball and I would do it again for the fun and music and dancing but keep your expectations for the food in check as it was barely a 5 on a scale of ten!

This was very enjoyable. As our first night in DC, this was a great introduction. Wish they did not go back and forth a few times, but eventually we headed out further. Food was good - but be sure to get in line early! Took my two young daughters, too and they had a blast dancing!
