Departure for Abu Dhabi full day tour, the largest and the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The name Abu Dhabi means: “Father of the Gazelle”. Our first stop will be at Sheikh Zayed Grand mosque, one of the largest Mosques in the world; able to accommodate more than 30,000 worshipers. The beautiful Mosque is completely clad in marble and also features intricate Islamic decoration and carvings as well as extensive landscaping works. Proceed to the Heritage Village, which houses a small museum and depicts the traditional daily activities of the Arab community prior to the discovery of oil. From here we drive along the spectacular Corniche, past gleaming white mosques, glass-clad offices and elegant high-rise apartments to the tip of the breakwater for a superb view of the city’s magnificent skyline. Lunch in a local restaurant in Abu Dhabi harbor , before we continue our tour to the Saadiyat Island, where GUGGENHEIM & Le LOUVRE museum are being built . We will continue in the afternoon with an outside visit of the YAS complex with the Ferrari park , the YAS waterworld , the YAS mall and of course the F1 circuit .
The tour was informational and fun. We were a small group just 3 and the tour guide took care of us well._br/_ We would like to suggest one improvement regarding the relationship between the guide and the driver. The driver did not respond as the tour guide instructed such as the directions, turns, how to drive etc and it was clear that the guide got upset every time it happened. Frankly the guide was not nice to the driver. It would be better if we didn't see this._br/_ Anyway we enjoyed the tour, thank you.

We were picked up at hour hotel at 8 AM. It was an all day tour . We were the sole passangers with what looked like a new driver. He needed a little help from the guide who seemed to know the place very well. Went straight to the Grand Mosque. Our guide told us that if we do that first before it gets too busy it will be the best. He was right. Allot 2-3hrs or so to this mosque. Proper attire is important . Head needs to be covered for all women . No food or water inside the mosques and no smoking. No shorts . All pants to ankle and no sleeveless shirts. If you follow the rules properly you'll thoroghly enjoy the beauty of this mosque. Photographs are allowed inside and talking should be minimal if any. Our guide gave us a brief explanation outside itself and told us that if we had any more questions he would answer when we finish the tour. Fortunately for us we didn't have any further questions. There are plenty of rest rooms and as we got out a nice cafe where we could get something to eat before our guide picked us up. Following lunch we went to the Ferrari world, heritage village and the museum.

Excellent tour, with a fantastic tour guide, Mohammad Fathy. He was extremely knowledgeable and very well spoken and helpful. He talked about the historical and cultural background of Abu Dhabi and of the Emirates. The visits to the Zayed Mosque, Yas island, Saadiyat Island, Emirates Palace and the drive through the city were quite enjoyable. The lunch was excellent at the Sheraton. Overall, it gave us a great overview of the city and also of the country. It was a great experience.

The tour itself was 5 stars and the guide handled a difficult situation when a fellow passenger had a stroke during the tour exceptionally well. But I have to deduct stars for 1 after booking with Viator, I was given a phone number in Dubai to call and arrange hotel pick-up. Between the long distance charges, the 12 hour time difference, and the fact that when I called I reached an answering machine with a difficult to understand message I think they were closed because it was their weekend Thursday??, arranging this was a real hassle. 2 I finally called the Viator office back and they somehow reached me and sent me an e-mail saying that I would be picked up at 8:30 AM. Turns out, I was picked up at 9:30 AM, so I was not too happy about that, seeing that I had only got tinto the hotel at midnight the night before, so could have used that extra 50 minutes of sleep. So, Viator, please pick a local agent that can communicate globally via e-mail and then shows up when they say they will.

This tour was very good, but the guide should be more prepared with Abu Dhabi history. The Mosque was more than beautiful. Think about doing a noght visit to the Mosque at night, because it is more attonish than during the day.

The guide on this tour was excellent. Although born in India he had a thorough knowledge of Abu Dhabi. This is an ideal way to discover the best of the area in one day. The lunch was also well worth having. The only complaint was the poor communication from the tour company. Telephone calls and emails went unanswered.

Our driver was amazing he tried his best to accommodate us and show us many aspects of Abu dhai, we feel he was thrown in the deep end and was asked to do this at the last minute whether that was because we were confused and missed something in our booking details which is very possible or we we were forgotten, my feeling is is I missed something. In saying this I would do the tour again so wanted to see the gold souks maybe next time see you in two to three years

This was a wonderful tour of the city. Our guide, Mehboob, was extremely informative and professional. It was great to meet him on the first day of our trip as he provided quite a bit of insight to help us navigate the city and the other parts of the UAE that we visited. I highly recommend this tour as well as Mehboob.
