Enjoy a relaxed and unhurried small group tour with a maximum of 10 people as you visit the stunning McLaren Vale; a relaxed 45-minute drive south of Adelaide. Throughout your day, visit five different wineries and enjoy a delicious lunch.
Depart the city towards Glenelg taking in the stunning coastal route to the Fleurieu Peninsular. Enjoy a relaxing drive down the beautiful mid south coast with its glistening visas of the Gulf St Vincent and pristine beaches awarding your arrival at the first legendary Cellar door of the day.
Visit two more beautiful wineries steeped in history with your friendly knowledgeable guide, who will introduce you to the knowledgeable staff who will guide you through each wine tasting experience.
Enjoy a delicious lunch waiting for you at the Winery Restaurant before you head out for the afternoon to take on your last two wineries. Drive though the ‘Vale’ to visit the two last cellar doors, passing rolling vistas of vineyards along the way before your return back to Adelaide.
Wineries you may visit: d’Arenberg Wines, Serafino Wines of McLaren Vale, Leconfield McLaren Vale Cellar Door, Paxton Wines, Wirra Wirra Winery, Kay Brothers Amery Vineyards, Angove's Winery, Chapel Hill Winery or Fox Creek Wines. (Depending on availability of the day)
We had an absolutely fantastic day ! I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in exploring the McLaren Vale region, we went to great wineries good flexibility here because we were 6 people and a spectacular lunch. Lots of fun, and great to learn more about the history of the region and South Australia.

We had a private tour for two of us and it was a fabulous day! The wineries were great fun to visit, and the included lunch at one was spectacular. Our guide was superb and told us stories of his living in this area. He knew all the best places to stop, including a wonderful confection-making company great treats!. We were able to talk about various wineries and select the ones we were most interested in visiting. We even were able to have some wine shipped to the US. It was so much more personal than most group trips. We felt really pampered and like we got a good feel for the local environment.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made excellent winery choices based on the taste preferences of our group. We had a small group so the tour was relaxed and our guide gave us options for where we'd like to go. We even managed a visit to a chocolate shop! I would highly recommend this tour

Inette was awesome and this was an all around great day! The tastings were very informative (and there was an abundance of wine at each). Lunch was spectacular and we even had time to stop at a cheese shop. Highly recommended. I would definitely do another tour with this company!

Very disappointed first couple of wineries were great Luch at Serafino was lovely but took a very long time to arrive, service was poor and the staff doing the wine tastings gave no description or information on the wines at all and appeared as if they did not want us there. The driver Danny was pleasant and helpful but we should gave been informed on making the booking about the Tour adiwn aunder affecting wineries we had accesss to as we only managed four and Ai am sorry but a cheese tasting in a supermarket was pretty average I really do not feel we had value for what we paid and we even had to ask if we could have some water.

Well what can I say , this was a pesonalised tour we had 6 on our tour Danny picked us up as planned and we headed for the hills Via the secenic route . Danny was very proud of Adelade and he knew his history as well as having a great sense of humour . We visted five first class vine yards and had lunch , the lunch was perfect together with a class of wine of your choice by the open fire so relaxed. I would certainly recommend this tour.

I took this tour with my bestie and it was so much fun! Danny is a very friendly, funny and knowledgeable guide who obviously loves his job. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we visited some very well researched wineries! The lunch was just perfect and our tour group was friendly and sociable. We took two tours when in Adelaide and this one was by far the best. We didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy anything at the wineries and the smaller tour group definitely made the day more enjoyable. Thank you Danny!!

An excellent day. Dan was very knowledgeable and nothing was any trouble. The trip was tailored to suit our needs and McLaren Vale turned the beautiful weather on for us. We had a fantastic lunch organized for us in a beautiful setting.....and of course the exquisite SA wines.
