Discover the highlights of Adelaide and Hahndorf on a morning sightseeing tour with an experienced local guide. Learn about the city as you take in King William Road, North Terrace and trendy Hutt Street. Stop at the Adelaide Oval and visit the Bradman Museum, where cricket fans can delve into the sport's memorabilia. Get great photo ops of Adelaide and Gulf St Vincent from Mount Lofty, then visit the German heritage town of Hahndorf. Learn about Hahndorf’s history from your guide as you walk through town with your small group before returning to Adelaide.
After morning pickup at your Adelaide hotel, travel by comfortable minicoach with a knowledgeable guide through Adelaide to take in the highlights of Australia’s fifth largest city.
Drive towards the North Terrace along King William Street as your guide points out the governor’s residence and other significant landmarks. Take in views of the River Torrens and pass the Adelaide Zoo and cultural institutions such as the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and South Australian Museum on your way to the Adelaide Oval.
Disembark to explore the Adelaide Oval, a famous stadium used primarily for cricket and football. Stop into the Bradman Museum, located in the Oval and home to a collection of cricket memorabilia donated by famous cricket batsman Sir Donald Bradman. Sip a complimentary tea or coffee as you peruse cricket-related items that date as far back as 1927.
Back on board the coach, cruise down fashionable Hutt Street, a tree-lined boulevard with colonial-era stone buildings, top restaurants, busy cafés and great boutiques.
Next, head to the city outskirts and drive up to the summit of Mount Lofty. Get great photo ops of the city and Gulf St Vincent, then continue another 15 minutes to reach Hahndorf, the oldest remaining German settlement in Australia. Your guide shares informative commentary about Hahndorf’s history as you motor along the quaint streets. Have time to stroll down the main street to browse the shops and cafés. Afterward, your coach returns you to Adelaide’s Victoria Square where your tour ends in the early afternoon.
If you would like to spend more time in Hahndorf, you have the option to return on your own by public bus.
Tour was on time at the Hilton Hotel for pick up, our guide was very informative and cordial, Adelaide is a very impressive city and I do recommend to take this tour to really learn the story of the city and enjoy it.

This was our first time in Adelaide we chose this trip as we were only in Adelaide for a couple of days.The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had lots of tales to tell he was highly amusing, but very down to earth. We will definitely revisit Adelaide it is lovely city with lots to do.

The tour of Adelaide was interesting enough and the tour guide, David, informative. However, the tour did not include the Museum at Adelaide Oval which was disappointing. Would not recommend this tour in particular as most time is spent in Hahndorf which has a regular bus service to the city anyway.

Our tour guide, David, was friendly and personable and an amazing vault of knowledge about Adelaide and its surrounds and the history of colonisation. His enthusiasm for his city was inspirational. A must-do when in Adelaide.

Brilliant day out. We were the only 2 on the tour, which was a shame as it is a great tour and one not to be missed. Our tour guide and driver, Dave, was brilliant - very knowledgeable of his city and clearly very proud to be a citizen of Adelaide, but his best attribute by far was his sense of humour! Very funny and likeable bloke! Highly recommended if visiting Adelaide - great value for money.

Dave provided us a half day exclusive informative tour of Adelaide City, Adelaide Oval, Bradman Museum and the sightseeing Hahndorf German settlement. We had a fabulous time, enjoying his commentary and his effort educate us with his knowledge of Adelaide city. Unfortunately we missed out on the sightseeing of Mount Lofty due to rain and heavy fog on the tour day. It is value for money and would recommend this tour to anyone.
